   Wine dinner. Terrific food, wine, chats with winemakers. Everyone in our party had a great time. Excellent idea to serve food in a shared-plates style. Made it all even more convivial.

   Everything about Altro Paradiso is sublime. The food, waitstaff, and the space — all were amazing. Space: the expansive but still warm and intimate spaces; the decor (the florals are a wow, that wine storage on the back wall, the bar positioned against the afternoon light coming down Spring Street. The staff: charming, funny, exuberant, gracious. All the things. And the food: Unbelievably delightful, from the fennel salad to the panna cotta and everything in between. Always amazing. The only thing I would fine-tune is the decibel level: when we first arrived, it was a little too loud to hear each other. We were shouting, sitting right next to each other, and neither of us are hearing-impaired. But as the lunch crowd thinned, the sound became more manageable. What an extraordinary place. We'll be back.

   We told the server about a nut allergy and she served our chicken with pine nuts. brought the same chicken back and it was cold. appetizer arancini was also cold. pasta pomodoro was good. Subpar experience.

   First off get a cocktail from the menu. Unique and delicious. We tried the ricotta with bread and olive oil, fennel salad with olives, and tuna tartare. Simply amazing. For dinner we had grilled tuna seasoned with fennel,coriander, salt and pepper. With a side of grain with fava beans and peas. The others had chicken Milanese and the Alto burger with fries. Dessert was affogato and the daily special gelato/ricotta. We would go back. Everything was superb.

   Absolutely phenomenal. From the cocktails to the entrees - the chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had and pastas were also well beyond my expectations, that were already quite high.

   My favourite SOHO restaurant - great ambiance, fantastic food, friendly service and buzz! Tricky to get a reservation as so popular but always worth it when you do and never a disappointment!

    A really gorgeous restaurant, beautifully decorated and relaxing to sit in. Great staff. Stand out meal of the week esp tuna tartare, steak for two and rhubarb dessert. Knowledgeable sommelier and our waiter Miguel was brilliant. Such a good experience we went back the following night.
