   A Culinary Gem in Pittsburgh – Altius Never Disappoints! Altius continues to be our absolute favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh, and once again, it delivered a truly unforgettable dining experience. We started with the Golden Osetra Caviar - an ode to the palate, luxurious and perfectly presented. The charcuterie board was a standout, with a fantastic selection of meats and cheeses complemented by a honey that tasted like it came straight from heaven. The Honeycup mustard added a dreamy, tangy finish that tied everything together beautifully. Our mains were equally spectacular. We ordered filet mignon - one well done, the other medium well - and both arrived exactly as requested, which is no small feat. The well-done filet was still juicy and full of flavor, a testament to the kitchen’s skill. I had the halibut, a chef’s special that evening, and it was nothing short of divine, light, flavorful, and executed to perfection. Alyssa, our server, was knowledgeable, attentive, and added so much to our evening. Her passion for the menu and seamless service made the experience even more special. We’ve never been disappointed at Altius, and this visit only deepened our love for it. A true culinary treasure in Pittsburgh!

   We came from out of town and wanted a good dining experience. We got it and more. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding and the views were phenomenal. I would 100% highly recommend Altius and when we come back to Pittsburgh we will be repeat customers.

   The waiter was so nice and suggested dishes that were delicious. The environment inside was modern and fancy and very quiet as well. Despite the bill being a little more expensive for what I'm used to, I would go to say that it was definitely worth the luxury!

   Great food and great service. We were celebrating our small business’ anniversary and they gave us a special dessert to recognize it. We will be back soon.

   Tbh: my haddock was a little dry and the hollandaise sauce was not warm. But the meal was good and the creme brulee was fabulous. Our server was perfect

   Haven’t been to Altius in quite a while. We happened to have a rare opportunity to do a date night with the hubby and as I remember, Altius didn’t disappoint. We had crab toasts, oysters, halibut special, filet, crème brûlée and vanilla icecream. All of it was fantastic. We will be back.

   Just lovely everything about this place was amazing,wonderful staff great service good food with an awesome atmosphere. The only thing I didn’t like as much was our table location it was at the end of a long table aside from that I enjoyed being there.

    This is a top-notch restaurant by any and every measure. Fine dining, beautiful setting, and attentive staff all around. It’s a special place.
