We booked our reservation at sunset. Wow what views. It was so wonderful to sit at the table and watch the sun set over the valley. Food and service were excellent as well.

Our seat was close to the bar but we were still able to have conversations without yelling.

There was a musician playing soft rock music which was a pleasant and enjoyable surprise.

The food was amazing! Our server might have been new, as she did not tell us the soup of the day or about any specials. We had to remind her to take the menus and inquire about desert. Other than that, it was a great experience.

location and view should make this one of the premier restaurants in Telluride. It's been under managed for years. The decision to serve a combined lunch/dinner (all day) menu, while easier on the kitchen, hardly makes for a great dinner experience. If telski can manage Allred's at such a high level of execution, it should be able to deal with this space. To top it off, the burger at Tomboys (also managed by Telski) is far better

What I love about Altezza is that not only do they have vegan dishes but mark those on the menu that are vegan yet not specifically listed in the vegan section. The views are spectacular and the staff very accommodating!!

We chose to have our New Year’s Eve & anniversary dinner at Altezza. I cannot say enough about the staff making sure everything was as we’d requested (table by the window etc). The staff and service is top notch and the food is the outstanding!

An almost empty restaurant yet food took nearly an hour. Touch gristly steak on my grain salad. Took forever for drink refills. Not impressed. The view was the only redeeming quality. Overpriced.

Terrible service--ignored at first, then multiple mistakes on the cocktails orders as well as the food orders. The manager came out to apologize and said the staff was tired because it was late (it was 7:45pm) and gave us the charcuterie board for free. Three of the seven of us ordered the elk/beef meatballs with spaghetti and marinara sauce, which was so spicy that it was almost inedible. The second manager came out when we complained and said that "there was no pepper or spices added to the marinara sauce but if we didn't want it, they would take it off the bill." Clearly not true--it was burning hot! Oh, but it was also cold...no joke. When the bill came, they had charged us for the charcuterie board as well as as the four (four!) wrong cocktails that they had brought out and we had returned. They took them off the bill when we complained. Then the waitress (who seemed to be trying but was just not up to the task) said to us, "I hope you are full and happy!", when half of us hadn't even eaten. The live music was excellent, and the view was beautiful, so there's that. Do not recommend, although I must say it became kind of funny when the mistakes kept piling up.

The food was good, but it took over an hour to get our appetizers, and then another half hour or more to get our dinner. Had to ask for bread. Then had to ask for the bread plates. The music and overall ambiance was nice though.

Despite our patience, the service was poor and the food quality about the same. A 2.5 hour meal with terrible drink service and few explanations for the delays. Despite the height of the season, they ran out of a house wine. The manager was a non presence and should have been more attentive to the situation. Would absolutely NOT recommend.

Outstanding views and a menu encompassing a wide variety of plant based options. The chef has done a superior job and the service was attentive. There is a complete list of traditional menu items as well.
We shared a gem salad and then went for a plant based entree and a steak. All was superbly prepared and presentation was excellent. We'll be back.

We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary. The view was perfect and the table where we were seated had the most gorgeous view. Our meal was cooked to perfection and having a wonderful red wine with the steak was perfect. The service was wonderful and we had a piece of raspberry cheesecake brought to us as a gift for our anniversary. It was delicious too.

We waited 30 minutes with no sign of a waiter or waitress. Not even our drink orders had been taken HOWEVER larger parties and parties seated after us were recieving their drinks and food before us. Not one member of staff asked if we were being helped. My husband got up and went inside to speak with the hostess about getting someone to take our order. We waited another 15 minutes with still no service then walked out.
We will never recommend this place to visitors nor will we be returning.

Horrible Experience. You would think a restaurant located within The Peaks Hotel would be great.....WRONG! Our server couldn't even uncork our bottle of wine so we had to do it for her. Our salads were delivered with our meals. One salad was completely missed. Food marginal at best. There are many other restaurants in Mountain Village that are far superior than Altezza.

We stayed at The Peaks, this was a convenient option for a large party on a holiday weekend. Good for kids that had just come in from skiing, very good food and easy given the location. Service makes all the difference; we were there 2 nights and after the dire lack of service the first night I had written the restaurant off. Glad to report the 2nd night was much better.

The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice, I especially enjoyed the guitar player/singer that was there for dinner on Feb. 17. Unfortunately, the kitchen was running very behind, and we waited a long time for our food. However, we were patient and enjoyed the entertainment. Our server was very kind, and worked hard, she did comp us our desserts for being patient which was very thoughtful.
