Alter House Restaurant and Bar is a family owned Farm-to-Table Restaurant and Event Venue dedicated to seasonal, sustainable cuisine. It is our culinary mission to source the finest ingredients from regional farmers, artisan purveyors and local farms whenever possible. Here at Alter House Restaurant and Bar, sustainability is the forefront of our identity. The seasons will define our menu.     Our waiter Don was excellent!! Made our evening- will come back again soon because of his amazing hospitality. Bartenders nails a little too long for my comfort level (bacteria) - but they look nice on her

    Very nice atmosphere, food was delicious- we ordered a fish dish and the spicy burger. NOTE: the spicy burger was delicious but a bit “too” spicy, we would not get again.

    From start to finish, an exemplary experience. It was my wife’s birthday, and they treated her like royalty. The food was utterly delicious. But every single person working there contributed positively to our experience. Truly perfection. Slow. Golf. Clap. ❤️👏🏽

    I liked this place in the past, last night meal was tasteless.., gnocchi had no salt or flavor topped with fried papers and onions .. and a grill pork chop, pork is flavorful on its own and was good , but it did not take a culinary degree to put it on top of flavorless pasta and veggies with no added oomph! We sat on the right when you enter.. it was so loud we could not enjoy our friends company … who we went out with to catch up. Waitress was not attentive. We had a drink to start and had to ask for a bottle of wine to accompany dinner. We ordered dessert and after 40 minutes asked for the check, never received dessert. Oh she did bring it in a takeout container with the bill to try to make up for forgetting it! So much money to not enjoy the night out , and we drove an hour yo get there .

    Excellent food, exciting atmosphere. You could tell everyone around us was having a great experience. Our server Allissa was personable and efficient. Not intrusive. Kept a watch on our dining experience to see if everything was going well, and if we needed anything. We are going to do take out Thanksgiving dinner, and Allissa was very informative about what The Alter House was offering for Thanksgiving and how to go about ordering. We go to the Alter House for all our special occasions because we know we will always have a great dining experience. We also love their farm to table concept. And their wine list is excellent. The Alter House is a winner!

    Love the alter house! They had live music and it was very relaxed inside. Our food was anbsolutely outstanding. Our waitress went above and beyond our expectations. It was our anniversary and there was a card waiting at our table for us. Our waitress Jane was super sweet! We told her how we were expecting our first child, and she put a dollar in our book where our check was and said “put it in your sons piggy bank.” I immediately geared up. So sweet.

    Our dinner last night was absolutely phenomenal. The Seabass was probably one of the best fish meals I’ve ever had. The service was excellent our waiter was awesome! Can’t wait to go back for more.

    We took my parents to celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary , I asked for a quiet side table with the reservation stating it was their anniversary. The hostess greeted them with a sincere “Happy Anniversary” as we walked into the door. An anniversary card on the table and cheerful warm wish from our server! They were so touched! The food was outstanding and fairly priced. We will be back!

    Staff: Very friendly with a good sense of humor. Service: Good. Not intrusive, but there when needed. Food: Two out of three meals were very good. Third meal was inedible! Value: Fair. A $50.00 steak should not be 1/3 fat and grizzle! Atmosphere: Extremely LOUD! Guest should not have to shout during dinner.

    Had the best brunch at Alter House. Such a great atmosphere and good crowd for a Sunday afternoon. Don was awesome. He truly made our experience. He checked in on us and made sure that we had what we needed. We kept adding courses on throughout the meal because everything was so good. Can’t wait to come back!

    One dinner selection was not as ordered was sent back and never corrected. Live music was so loud you could not hear across a small table.
