Cute charming bistro with sidewalk seating available. Limited, but interesting menu. I specifically chose Alter Ego to have a personnel meeting. While the meeting went well, the service and food were quite a disappointment. We were initially served by a waitress who appeared to actually be a busser. She brought water to the table then 20 minutes later cam back for drink orders. Half the drinks came out in 10 minutes, the other half over the next 15 minutes. After another 15 minutes, we were greeted by a nice young lady who said she would be taking over for the previous server. She took our food order and 30 minutes later came and apologized that the food was taking so long and wanted to give us another round of drinks. Another 20 minutes pass and the food finally comes out. If we didn't have business to go over I would have been livid. Mind you, we ordered salads and a burger. Not exactly a taxing order for the kitchen. The food was passable, but unremarkable. It did visually look good, but the flavor was off, salads were very dry and the burger undercooked. I had to go find the server to get our check. I got a summary bill without detail for far more than it should have been. I later found out the comped drinks were actually charged to us. Such a disappointment. Will not be going back.

We were really excited for the Star Wars experience but left overall disappointed. The food was not ideal, beef overcooked and salad was bland. The drinks were definitely fun, but lacked much overall taste. We were seated at the farthest end near the entrance and could barely hear a thing from the announcers on the speakers. Unfortunately our whole table was in agreement in the experience.

We celebrated our anniversary with friends, and asked the waitress to pace our bottle of wine and appetizers, before bringing dinner, and it was perfect! So much enjoyed!!
