   The setting and the food as well as the service were excellent, however it took us a half hour to find parking on the street as the hotel did not have room for us to park. Even thought I called to say we were trying to park, I came home after dinner to find a message from the restaurant saying I had been a no show! The person greeting us was at the best unfriendly (the person with me thought she was rude) but the server was cheerful and quick even though she had a large table to cover as well as two additional tables. IF one could park without a problem I would return, but I probably won't because of the hassle we had and the unpleasant welcome once we got to the restaurant.

   Nice place to eat! Reserving a table really improves the experience. My wife and I went before a blazer game, the place was noisy (not a problem for us). My grandparents wouldn’t have been able to hear. Great service and the food was good! My wife and I both ordered a steak... mine was about half the size, beware the portions are on the smaller end. The food presented well and tasted good!

   Drinks were slow in coming, got my drink wrong once. Food was hit or miss, mine was great but I tasted others meals and they were just ok.

   Wonderful dinner. We like to take advantage of Portland Dining Month to try out new places. This was fantastic!

   We went for the restaurant dining month special, it was good but maybe a little underwhelming. So I wonder if their regular menu would have wowed me more.

   Beautiful views and a lovely ambiance. The entrees were just okay. The mussels were really good as was the chocolate peanut butter dessert.

   It's always nice to know you can rely on a restaurant to be excellent when entertaining friends. Altabira is always the best.

   My wife and I love this place! Because we reserved with open table, we were unable to sit in the bar and enjoy there happy hour. They refused to accommodate us because of the way we reserved our table. The restuarant was not full and the bar was 1/2 empty. This was lame. I will never use the app again because of it.

    Great place to go before an event at the convention center. Food was a little over priced. Great service!
