Wonderful evening as usual! My partner and I so appreciate their attention to our dining experience. 💖Alta Strada.
Consistently delicious, authentic and freshly prepared Italian cuisine. Always an excellent meal with professional service.
Absolutely fantastic meal. All home made sauces and pasta. Really hit the taste buds well.
Food was so delicious! Great italian that wasn't generic and boring but also wasn't pretentious and over complicated. Just great food and great vibe in the restaurant - it was packed! Awesome service too.
We were warmly greeted, quickly seated and graciously served 2 wonderful pasta dishes. The beer and wine selections are solid, but pricier than we’ve paid elsewhere. Service, presentation and taste were all A+ with one exception. The chocolate cannoli was under-whelming, filled with light mousse rather than dense, rich ricotta which we prefer.
Although we dined st 5:30, the noise level quickly increased. It’s difficult to enjoy a sustained conversation; we’d recommend coming on the late side for a quieter, more romantic mood.
I ordered the bolognase and found it to be watery and unevenly cooked. The noodles were often time in lumps.
Food was wonderful. Friend and I had 2 pasta dishes (bolognese and mushroom ravioli)...both fresh, well seasoned, delicious. Serving sizes were perfect. We tried the homemade ricotta which was very good. After dinner we decided to try the marscapone with cookies...incredibly delicious. I would definitely recommend Alta Strada... It's not a big space and a bit noisy.
Excellent service and the food is always amazing. Tried several wine and food selection recommendations from the server and all were outstanding. Honestly, one of the best places in the area to dine with family and friends.
Portion of mushroom luna pasta was so tiny it was hardly satisfying. Eggplant pa listed as an appetizer was a full satisfying portion. Menu has changed for the worse
My daughter's chicken was mediocre. The asparagus was very overcooked. My salmon was oily and left an unpleasant aftertaste. The brussel sprouts arrived cold and hard. I sent them back for further cooking. They came back only slightly more cooked, slightly warm and many were still hard. My husband liked his Bolognese pasta.
Sunday Brunch, excellent food, high quality and hot from kitchen - service was great. Restaurant was relatively quiet as it was a 3 day weekend with holiday - all the better for those of us that dined.
Pleasant as always. Wonderful wait staff. Timing btw courses good.
Food was very good but service was lacking. And with the cost of the meals, that should not have been the case.
Alta Strada never disappoints - very good food and service - very attentive wait person who was also very knowledgeable about the wine.
Excellent food. Evening spoiled by noisy dining room.
Portions are extremely small for the price. Food is excellent however.
We went for Valentines Day and enjoyed the 4 course, fixed dinner to share they they offered.
Although it was busy, the service was great, and so was the food. Each dish was cooked perfectly!
The staff were very warm and the waitstaff excellent. The menu was too limited even for this occasion. The web site didn’t indicate that the limited menu was all you could choose from. The portions were small for the amount of money. Th prices were more like fine dining with a very casual and noisy atmosphere. We ordered a half lobster with pasta and a tiny piece of lobster appeared for 35.00. The manager did bring us more after complaining.
Once again, a premium experience at Alta Strada for Valentine's Day. Great food an service. The floor was busy with small delays but not enough to sully the experience. A little pricey for the area, but a wonderful casual-yet-special occasion destination.
Excellent experience, very friendly and accommodative staff!! Can’t go wrong with this place!
We waited approximately 10 minutes after the reservation time for a table to clear. Our waiter was curt and mumbled a few things that we had to ask him to repeat; this happened again when he came to take our order. The food quality was mixed. Our friends liked their pizza and pasta dish, but the two different pastas that my partner and I ordered were not very good: one was overly spiced and heavy with sauce, and the other was overly sweet. The desserts were very good. We will likely not return to this restaurant.
Been going downhill lately. Ate there for brunch for the first time and it was horrible. Everything bagel pizza was dry And not edible and the tiramisu was basically a revolting custard in a glass with HOT espresso poured on top. WHAT ON EARTH.
We arrived an hour early by accident (our fault) and they couldn’t accommodate us - understandable. We mentioned that we wouldn’t mind eating at the bar which also had a wait list. But they never let us know that space had opened up so we ended up waiting the full hour which was annoying. However, once we sat down everything was immensely delicious!! From apps to entree to dessert. Except the bread, which was very hard to chew. Great staff especially our waitress.
Loved the food. Wish they had some California wines instead of entire Italian wine list. Noise level made it a little hard to talk. But the quality of our meals was worth it!
Had dinner with a friend and my daughter. My daughter is a very picky eater and was only going to order the pizza. I ordered the cauliflower and a few other dishes. She ended up trying them and loved them all. Ate my dinner!!!
The dining room was very noisy and overly crowded. The service was fine. The biggest disappointment was the food - bland, overly salted, and surprisingly pedestrian. The local pizza joint conjures up more tasty fare than found here. Definitely not worth the premium price.
My wife was given a gift card and we were in the area so we made a reservation through open table. the food was excellent wait.staff great, meatball appetizer was fantastic as well as the cauliflower. I would come back in a minute, 5 stars in my book
Alta Strada was lovely, great food and wine selection. Definitely a place to go for either a date night out or get together with friends.
The host, a southern gentleman, was lovely and very accommodating to our big group.
Our server was great too. The food was excellent!
I do have one complaint, however. I felt very rushed. Multiple servers kept coming by to remove the appetizers. We even repeatedly asked them to leave them. It was quite annoying.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent! A great place to eat!
Celebrated a birthday with the family. For us, this night out was a special occasion. Alta Strada is so cool, super friendly people, food was terrific. We had the chef's special that night, and was very impressed.
We love Alta Strata. The service is always excellent and the food top notch.
Fabulous food! Pasta was homemade and authentic. Sauces were done perfectly. Excellent service! Waiter was attentive. Great food.
Waiter was specifically asked to not put hot peppers & sauce on meal and when it arrived, there were hot peppers with sauce on it. We told our waiter about it and he graciously took it back to the kitchen. When it returned, there were no hot peppers on it and when my wife tasted it, she immediately could tell that they scraped off the peppers & sauce and brought the plate back to us. Needless to say the waiter confirmed this and she went without eating her meal. Not recommend for those who have specific requests.
Food was very good, beets were great as was the branzino
The food at Alta Strada is not excellent, but reliably good. Menu doesn't change often enough but glad that a few old favorites have returned. Suggest the Tri Color Insalate be returned to the menu as salad options aren't diverse enough. The best part of dining at Alta Strada are the people who work there, from the manager to all the servers. All of the staff are friendly and go out of their way to try and ensure the best dining experience possible. We were served recently by a lovely waitress who recognized that we REALLY wanted a little bit of dessert to end the meal, but since we watch our calorie intake, we seldom order dessert. Because we're regular diners, she surprised us with a half portion of a chocolate cookie dessert...a lovely gesture which made us feel good about dining at Alta Strada. This restaurant, unlike many, actually does have desserts that are made in-house. After eating the small dessert, we wondered why restaurants don't actually serve half portions of dessert at half the price of a whole dessert for diners who would enjoy ending a meal with a few bites of something sweet, but who wouldn't want to add another 1,000 calories or so to their total meal consumption. A new marketing concept?
Always consistent, always fresh, made to order, and delicious! Great staff, too!
The service was friendly and excellent! Bloody Mary was outstanding, as was coffee. The avocado toast was nice, although needed a little sea salt on top. scrambled eggs got great reviews and the everything bagel pizza was very good, although somewhat light on the smoked salmon. Overall flavor was great.
My brothers 22 year old girlfriend was denied alcohol due to her Greek I.D. which is NOT ok.
