Whether nibbling on small plates at the antipasti-wine bar, sipping an espresso, or having a meal in the open dining room, Alta Strada will always be approachable and accessible to anyone and everyone. With a true smile and the genuine desire to take care of you while you’re “in our house”, Alta Strada will focus on the foods of Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, and the Amalfi coast, while attempting to fill the much needed gap in Italian restaurants in America. Simply put, Alta Strada will be the place where you’ll find a perfectly made bowl of pasta, crispy thin pizza, gorgeous and abundant antipasti, and fantastic wines, all at a reasonable price, in a setting that could be found on a stylish via in Milan or Rome.

My daughter's chicken was mediocre. The asparagus was very overcooked. My salmon was oily and left an unpleasant aftertaste. The brussel sprouts arrived cold and hard. I sent them back for further cooking. They came back only slightly more cooked, slightly warm and many were still hard. My husband liked his Bolognese pasta.

Sunday Brunch, excellent food, high quality and hot from kitchen - service was great. Restaurant was relatively quiet as it was a 3 day weekend with holiday - all the better for those of us that dined.

Food was very good but service was lacking. And with the cost of the meals, that should not have been the case.

Alta Strada never disappoints - very good food and service - very attentive wait person who was also very knowledgeable about the wine.

Portions are extremely small for the price. Food is excellent however.

We went for Valentines Day and enjoyed the 4 course, fixed dinner to share they they offered.

Although it was busy, the service was great, and so was the food. Each dish was cooked perfectly!

The staff were very warm and the waitstaff excellent. The menu was too limited even for this occasion. The web site didn’t indicate that the limited menu was all you could choose from. The portions were small for the amount of money. Th prices were more like fine dining with a very casual and noisy atmosphere. We ordered a half lobster with pasta and a tiny piece of lobster appeared for 35.00. The manager did bring us more after complaining.

Once again, a premium experience at Alta Strada for Valentine's Day. Great food an service. The floor was busy with small delays but not enough to sully the experience. A little pricey for the area, but a wonderful casual-yet-special occasion destination.

We waited approximately 10 minutes after the reservation time for a table to clear. Our waiter was curt and mumbled a few things that we had to ask him to repeat; this happened again when he came to take our order. The food quality was mixed. Our friends liked their pizza and pasta dish, but the two different pastas that my partner and I ordered were not very good: one was overly spiced and heavy with sauce, and the other was overly sweet. The desserts were very good. We will likely not return to this restaurant.

Been going downhill lately. Ate there for brunch for the first time and it was horrible. Everything bagel pizza was dry And not edible and the tiramisu was basically a revolting custard in a glass with HOT espresso poured on top. WHAT ON EARTH.

We arrived an hour early by accident (our fault) and they couldn’t accommodate us - understandable. We mentioned that we wouldn’t mind eating at the bar which also had a wait list. But they never let us know that space had opened up so we ended up waiting the full hour which was annoying. However, once we sat down everything was immensely delicious!! From apps to entree to dessert. Except the bread, which was very hard to chew. Great staff especially our waitress.

Loved the food. Wish they had some California wines instead of entire Italian wine list. Noise level made it a little hard to talk. But the quality of our meals was worth it!
