   Food was excellent. Service level didn’t quite match the price. Informed our server of my Shellfish allergy and she breezed right over it and I don’t believe it was flagged to the kitchen due to the state of my stomach post meal. If it is not possibly to avoid cross contamination this should be flagged immediately to the patron.

   Beef tips and rigatoni with pasta was excellent. Pappardelle with wild bore was prepared very well. Drinks were served cold and within 5 minutes of order. Excellent wine selection. Service was courteous and very knowledgeable of each menu items.

   Somewhat limited selection for non-seafood lovers, but the pasta lovers found it excellent. The "energetic" noise level toned down the music we liked during the rare times we could hear it, and made conversation challenging, but wouldn't deter us from going back again. Fun place.

   I was greeted promptly and taken to my table. Great wine list and menu. I had the warm caprese salad which was deconstructed with roasted vine tomatoes, burrata, pesto and red pepper coulis.The flavors were good but did render a lot of liquid on the plate as tomatoes are very watery by nature. I also had the wild boar pappardelle which had raisins and chocolate. Again together the flavors were good but the raisins and melted milk chocolate were added at the top of the dish instead of being cooked in the sauce which rendered the dish sweet. Some raisins were bunched together on the plate. I had envisioned the chocolate adding a bitter note for complexity to the dish which wasn’t the case. The boar was a little dry. With some tweaks, this dish could be outstanding. Service wise, everyone was “nice” but my water glass was never refilled and my utensils were not properly put in place with each course. Atmosphere and location are great.

   Overall very good. Food portions were small for the price but the flavor was amazing. Server Ryan very friendly and sociable. Negatives were ambience was none, just one large open room, not quiet or cozy. Also for the quality of food it was served luke warm. Not sure if we would go back..

    Had Mother’s Day dinner here-Ryan was our waiter-he is the best! The food was seriously The best meal I’ve had in 20 years. I’m shocked at the caliber of food available in this city, but this restaurant is the crème de la crème for northern Italian. The service was perfect and everyone there is working together to make sure everyone is satisfied. Just a beautiful experience!

    Overpriced. $30 for 2 people to split a Caesar salad. The filet mignon was a little fatty and looked more like a ny strip. Lastly, the di mare was good, but most of the clam shells were empty.

    The food was not worth the money we paid. $156.00 for mediocre food. I wish we had gone to one of the many other restaurants in the area! We tried sever and they were delicious! We will not be back to Alta Marea! I’m really surprised they are in business.

    We went to Alta Marea to celebrate a birthday. We loved the food and service by Jay. The bread service was awesome along with the Grilled Caesar Salad and Cannelloni Aragosta! The pasta was awesome. Great wine to go with dinner too. The prices are a bit high, but not excessive for this great location in Saint Augustine and excellent food quality and service. The building and decor are very nice, but a bit noisy when busy. Overall a great experience and highly recommend!

    Excellent upscale Tuscan coastal cuisine. Not inexpensive but worth it, based on the ambiance, food quality, and superb service. Specialty is seafood, but I had the cinghiale because it is so difficult to find. It, and our tiramisu, were outstanding.

    This was my fifth time eating here, so obviously it is a favorite. The first thing you will notice is the beautiful table and luxury seating, then the beautiful wine glasses and tableware. Order the exquisite bread service with house made herb butter, take home any leftover. Order anything on the menu; it’s all excellent. The fish and grilled Caesar salad are my favorite.     Our server, Ryan, was very professional, personable with a great knowledge of the menu and gave excellent wine recommendations. We had the special of the day, seafood lasagna, and it was excellent. The bartender was very skilled and prepared an delicious Old Fashioned with her own special twist.     We had a great dining experience and Our waiter Ryan was great. One thing to keep in mind is the prices on the website/ Open Table are $7-$9 cheaper than the menu at the restaurant.
