Alt. is a bespoke suburban wine bar located along Adelaide’s prestigious King William Road; a stone’s throw south from the CBD.
We offer an eclectic selection of wines from near and far, as well as a carefully curated menu of bar snacks and shared plates designed for communal dining.
A vibrant atmosphere with relaxed but personable staff. A place for wine lovers, not wine experts.

We are no longer taking reservations, so feel free to simply walk-in!

Such a great Saturday night vibe for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles. Love the interior, perfectly curated. Just what King William Road needed to shake things up a little.

The volume of the music was extreme; we had lost our voice by the end of the event. We requested that the volume be lowered but to no avail; one staff member replied that they could not adjust the volume 🤦🏻‍♀️ Another said the DJ was about to start and they insisted on keeping the volume high. A 5pm start straight from work does not give you a chance to chill before the vibe!

Had such a great time and a wonderful dinner! Food menu was very impressive, definitely not just a wine bar! Chicken is 10/10 succulent and flavorful! The selection of wine is fantastic! Staff were lovely too :)

Gorgeous little wine bar, staff were helpful and knowledgeable, food was delicious. Music inside while great could have been a touch quieter for conversation

Dropped in on a Monday afternoon for a quiet drink. Sat outside on the footpath tables. Ian, the cool guy who served me was enthusiastic and had a great knowledge of his product. Excellent wines by the glass and some exceptional tasty treats to nibble on. Will be back!
