Our menu offers a variety of specialties from Germany and Ex Yugoslavia to include dishes from Serbia,Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Some of our authentic foods are Scnitzels, Cevapcici, homemade sauerkraut, Cabbage Rolls, Goulash, salads, desserts and many more wonderful flavors. My mother Chef is at the restaurant daily preparing fresh dishes. During the Yugoslavian war in the 1990's she moved to Germany. There she worked in a number of restaurants learning all about the German flavors. She uses those cooking experiences from her own country and Germany to create a blend of European dishes.
Come by relax and enjoy some good home cooked food!
Everything was great.
We always look forward to a meal at Alps Village. Friendly staff, terrific food, and great atmosphere. Be back again soon!
Had a wonderful meal.
Everything was great except our entree was presented before we finished our soup.
Food was great
We love the food at Alps Village!
As always.... the service, the entree, the dessert....awesome! Very authentic (I know I lived in Wien, Austria, ; Munich, Berlin and Hamburg, Germany for years) Love this place!!!!
Excellent food and service. A wonderful experience every time we dine.
This was a birthday celebration and it was just fine. However, the food was a little disappointing, especially the cucumber salad. They didn't want to make any substitutions and sometimes one needs to do so. The busboy was very good.
Have been to this restaurant many times and have always loved the food. Service is super friendly and ambience has been fun. Good vibes.
Food is great, but service while friendly was lacking. We made a reservation through Open Table advising it was our Anniversary. When we arrived, the person in the front made it seem they weren’t expecting us and offered us the worst table in the restaurant. We asked if we could wait for a better table and were soon seated outside. Our server rushed by us several times before taking our drink orders. When we finally ordered, the drink and appetizer came out within 15 minutes. However we waited over 50 minutes for our entries with no apology or explanation from our server. We then had to wait for some time for the bill.
The food was so good ordered Chicken Paprikash, others had sausage plate and schnitzel with flourless white cake everyone enjoyed the meal and will be telling friends planning on coming back.
Always an amazing experience. Even better when the weather is nice enough to sit outside.
Regular customer. This place never fails to impress whomever we bring there. Zrinka is passionate about the food and always hits a homerun when making a recommendation.
Delicious food in a rather charming setting with super friendly and attentive service. Honestly, my only complaint is how expensive it was.
Introduced family members to one of Coachella Valley’s finest European cuisine. Great service and meal! Will return during Oktoberfest!
Horrible. No ambiance, no charm and poor food,= never return
Great food. Always friendly service.
Wonderful meal and excellent service as always.
Overall food was good. A little salty for my taste but good. Will be going back to try the dish my friend had(can't remember the name🤦♀️)
I love this restaurant. I love these people. I love the food.
We love this place, a local find and always good food
Loved it and my guests did as well.
TO OPEN TABLE NOT Alps Village: If you want me to review something DO NOT tell me how many words to do it in that is rude and will make me inclined NOT to reply to your surveys...
food was incredible and way too much served. had leftovers for dinner the next way. fun place to go
The Alps Village is a must place to have a great meal. The food is always fresh. My wife and I are on a mission to try every dish on the menu. We're about half way thru and have never been disappointed. Prices are fair and reasonable. Recommend reservations during the season or you may be waiting or miss out altogether.
Food was great. Service and server were awesome. I was a little concerned when I realized the restaurant was located what looked like a business park, but it turned out to be awesome. Sort of a hidden gem. I’d go back in a flash. Ken
Absolutely tremendous food. Wonderful service.
Best place in Palm Desert to eat. Food and service are top notch.
I look forward to our dining at alps village! The cabbage rolls are fantastic!!
Great food. Outstanding service.
a gem in the desert
best white cake for dessert
Love this place and its food ! Always consistent and lots of fun !
I have been here twice and I LOVE it. I get the linguini bolognese each time because it is HEAVEN. I recommend drinking a red wine of your choosing with it. Absolutely love this place; staff is the nicest and food is the tastiest!
Excellent food choices including a large GF menu. The service is family friendly and the owners and family members, make you feel like you are dining at their home!
The staff is very nice, the food is great. I enjoy this place on any occasion. The chocolate cake is to die for.
We were recommended to go to the Alps Village by a neighbour we met at the pool in our rental unit. We are so glad we went! The service is outstanding, the food was so delicious, and the prices are so reasonable! There is something on the menu for everyone, but if you are looking to have great Schneitzel, then visit the Alps Village when you are in Palm Desert. We will definitely go there again next time we are in town!
Food and service was great. Couldn’t have been any nicer. Will definitely return
Good German food
