Great seafood in a casual atmosphere. Lobster roll is a favorite. Been there before and will go back again next time we are in Key West.

The salads are fabulous and the conch chowder is so delicious. I am not a fan of fried food. The fresh seafood should not to be missed. Mussels are a star on the menu I suggest that you make a reservation.

The food was awesome!!! Great selection and atmosphere. The server did not know much about the menu and the oyster selection which was somewhat of a let down. However, the ones we ordered were awesome and it all worked out. You just like to see more knowledge of the servers and menu.

$4 per oyster is offensive. Your competition at Half shell and Conch republic have delicious oysters for $2 each.

The food and drinks were outstanding! Best we had at Key West! Service was great and the food came out hot and fresh. We loved it so much we came back the next night!

Delicious oysters!! We tried a variety of the raw oysters and asian oysters, so fresh and delicious. Great service and a lovely view. I will certainly be back!

Alonzo’s has been a Key West favorite for our family for twenty plus years on an island with many great choices. The key to Alonzo’s is the relaxed and very accommodating ambiance. We have never been disappointed by food or service. For a pleasant and friendly meal, this is on the go to list for us. Kudos to our service professional Micaela who brings her best at every visit!!

Wanted to love Alonzo’s as we enjoy dining at older, established places. Unfortunately it was just mediocre. Drinks were not great. Martini was terrible. Not cold and tasted watered down. Oysters were good but had been sitting when they arrived at table as they were resting in ice water rather than a bed of ice. Salads (caesar and house) were good. Mixed grill with fish, lobster, shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli was a sloppy mess. Fried platter was decent but conch fritters were the worst ever. Nice location on the dock and our server was very friendly, but we would not return.

Huge shoutout to Debra and the entire staff! Our infant got sick right after we sat down last night, we were so embarrassed. Debra kept reassuring us that it was fine and just moved us to a different table. We were going to leave out of embarrassment, the staff acted like it was no big deal and were so accommodating. We stayed and had the best dinner, the oyster tower and king crab were to die for! Thanks again for a wonderful evening. Debra you were an absolute angel last night, from one momma to another. Thank you ❤️

You can’t go home again. Maybe I’m getting old and the memory starts to fade. Used to spend virtually every afternoon here whenever in Key West. The oyster selection was great and the ambiance as well. The current staff is very friendly and cordial, but it just isn’t the same place anymore.

I would save your money and time and choose somewhere else to eat. The food was okay, overpriced for what you get. However, the worst part of our experience was when our server, Debra, made a comment about her tip in front of the table. After handing her the money for our bill, she counted it at the table and looked at everyone and said “this is only xyz amount. 18% is this amount”. Because she didn’t receive 18% tip, she left the table in a fury and walked away complaining. Also, FYI, they do not split checks at this restaurant. I’ve never had a server 1) count their money at the table and 2) complain openly about their tip in front of customers. Extremely unprofessional.

Tori was our server and was pleasant, helpful and attentive. The drinks were cold. The food arrived quickly and everything was delicious. Great ambiance and like the setting on the water. It’s a little noisy but it is a party town so that makes it authentic. A great place to spend a night.

The drinks and pretzel was great but the seafood tower was bad. The fried food was so greased soaked and the oysters were warm. The peel and eat shrimp were great. $250 for 2 people. Not worth it.

I’ve eaten here several times before over the years and it’s always been a very good experience. Yesterday, however, my raw clams were served over ice that was mostly melted so several of the clams had water in them and they still weren’t very cold. The salad was served on a warm plate (I was told it was out of the dishwasher) so the salad wasn’t cold and I had to send the coleslaw back because it was just too warm and it’s my opinion that coleslaw should always be chilled.

Great experience as always. The happy hour mussels and beer are our favorites. We always bring out-of-town friends here because the view can’t be beat and the servers are friendly.

We had the baked oyster appetizer, the key lime ones with the white sauce were awesome! For dinner we shared the captains platter with fried mahi, shrimp and conch. The mahi was pretty dry and the conch chewy. The shrimp were good. Upon making a reservation I was asked if we were celebrating anything and I said yes, my boyfriend’s birthday. They didn’t acknowledge his birthday in any way which was a little disappointing.

Wonderful experience both times we've been this week. BLT mahi mahi is good. Smoked fish dip and fritters are excellent. Reasonably priced. Service was great. Fried key lime pie is a must. Mermaid drink for your lady is a must.

Could have been better. Just make sure if you make a reservation on Open Table and select standard v outside, standard doesn’t mean inside seating according to the hostess. I don’t understand it either. They did apologize but didn’t seem to concerned.

They did not take our order modification (no cheese/bacon on the burger). The waiter clearly forgot to put the burger order in, but instead of admitting it just said they were still “dressing it” in the kitchen (over 15 minutes after all other food delivered). Busboy delivered the entrees to us but did not clear our appetizer plates off first. Handed me plates of oysters and clams on ice where I had no where to put it down and at an angle so I immediately spilled it on the table. Stood there and watched me struggle. Just not worth the price at all… the service has gone downhill.

I cannot recommend this restaurant at all… I really wanted to like it as we were excited for a great seafood restaurant on the water, but this was very disappointing on several levels. Our server was awful and very unattentive… extremely confused and airheaded …. I am really trying to be nice…. Everything was messed up including her careless attitude! Our drink orders came out extremely wrong, she asked me three times if I wanted more crackers to go with my chowder, I told her yes every time and she never came with crackers after her asking me 3 times! the food quality was not very good and we found them to be extremely expensive, considering the quality and quantity as compared to other restaurants in the area and we understand that you are in a tourist area. We are expecting the higher prices as we live in the Orlando area, but we were extremely disappointed with what you got for the money. Like really disappointed And because the soup was not very good, nor were the over cooked fritters, we decided to decline against entrées or anything else and cashed out after a bowl of chowder because honestly, the experience was so uncomfortable and so odd…. and it was not busy. The waitresses stand around in groups being very loud and gossiping as if you were at a high school, and are very unconcerned about service being their priority. This was a extremely disappointing experience and we do NOT recommend it at all. Sadly the location is awesome

We enjoyed ourselves. My oldest was freaked out by the chickens inside the restaurant, but she (ultimately) managed. One of the staff, assisted the chickens to the door. We didn’t have to ask. A very kind gesture on her part. I ordered the lobster roll. A poor choice in my part. I anticipated a Maine or Connecticut-style roll, and clearly did not read the description. It is a lobster-salad. Again, that’s on me, not them. Overall, a solid experience, and I would go back.

Great oysters!!!! My fiancée fell in love with the Caviar oysters and we had to order a second round. We sampled all of the oyster options and the morimoto ended up being our favorite raw plain oysters. We also tried the whole fried snapper and it was delicious!!
