"We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind-of-a-bistro and kind-of-a-diner with an internationally inspired menu which is representative of the diverse cultures in Toronto.

Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. "

What an incredible restaurant!!! The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The food and drinks were simply amazing along with the selection of music. Whenever I’m in Toronto Aloette is now on must go list!!!

We were visiting from out of town, and definitely wanted to make a stop here. We got the truffle burger and fried honey chicken. It was fantastic. Loved the chicken wrapped up with homemade pickles and buffalo sauce in lettuce. I would also recommend the Painted Water cocktail. One of the best I’ve ever had.

Best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Hamburger might have been amazing if it hadn’t cooled down so much by the time I got it.

Our first visit and the service and food were fantastic. We came for a late lunch/early dinner since we had been to a matinee show so it was quiet. The service was great, we were greeted promptly and friendly by our host and the server was so informative, kind and attentive. Thank you for a lovely time.

Everything was just amazing. From being greeted at the door, to the whole kitchen team working and covering eachother to make sure guests had a great experience. We’re so floored with how wonderful the evening was. And obviously, the food was out of this world. We can’t wait to come back and try the whole menu!

Every time, excellent. Not pretentious, just awesome food, and it's so nice that it's moderately priced (it's not inexpensive, but reasonable for the pedigree)... for the quality of the food. Cheers!
