"We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind-of-a-bistro and kind-of-a-diner with an internationally inspired menu which is representative of the diverse cultures in Toronto.

Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. "

My friends and I had a great time at Aloette. Our server, Devin was extremely knowledgeable and made great cocktail recommendations for us. We enjoyed everything that we ordered

Great experience overall! Our server was very friendly and on-top of everything. We sat outside and it did get loud from the honking cars, but that is no fault of the restaurant. I’d go back, especially for the burger.

Very nice food. Too bad no tablecloth, overpriced wines. Bottle wasn’t even uncorked at the table… But very good food indeed

Hello, Francois. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We like to keep things a bit more casual at Aloette. We welcome you to visit our sister restuarant, Alo, if you are looking for more of a fine-dining, white tablecloth experience. Regarding our wine service, it is standard across all of our restaurants to open bottles of wine away from the table so that any faults in the wine may be caught before a guest tastes it to spare them having to to taste a spoiled wine. However, we are always happy to uncork bottles at the table should a guest prefer. We are so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the food, nevertheless, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!

We were late to the reservation, but we’re more than accommodating and friendly! Music was a little loud for dinner, but food was phenomenal and cocktails great as usual. Service always friendly and attentive. Look forward to being back soon.
