At Alo, we are getting back to the roots of hospitality. We want each and every guest to feel welcome in our home and to enjoy the classically prepared, meticulously thought out French food and service presented in a five-course tasting menu in our dining room.

To compliment our menu and enhance your experience we will provide wines that engage your mind and dazzle your palate. We seek the best and most interesting winemakers – people who take their craft as seriously as we take our food and service.

The Bar at Alo will provide sharable small plates that allow guests to simply snack or create a delicious dinner inspired by the menu in the main dining room. Our cocktail program presents a selection of cocktails that are classic, refined and very French.

Join us for an exclusive evening in our private dining room as we mark 10 incredible years of passion, innovation, and hospitality at Alo. This unique experience will begin at 7:00pm with a seated tasting menu at our communal private dining table.

Join us in our dining room for a new tasting menu that features the best ingredients we can source. Our menu is internationally inspired and prepared using classic French technique. We are currently unable to accommodate tasting menus for the following, either by substitution or omission of individual dishes or ingredients: allergies or aversions to dairy, eggs, seafood, soy, alliums, as well as vegan and vegetarian diets. Advance notice of all other dietary restrictions is strongly recommended to ensure that they can be accommodated. The tasting menu is currently offered at $225 per guest and does not include beverages, service charge and tax. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will be charged the full price of the tasting menu per guest.

Our Kitchen Counter features bar-style seating and faces our open kitchen for an engaging dining experience. The Kitchen Counter offers a blind multi-course tasting menu, including luxurious menu items and special courses from our Chefs. We are currently unable to accommodate tasting menus for the following, either by substitution or omission of individual dishes or ingredients: allergies or aversions to dairy, eggs, seafood, soy, alliums, as well as vegan and vegetarian diets. The kitchen counter tasting menu is currently offered at $285 per guest and does not include beverages, gratuity or tax. What else can one say but exceptional, in all respects? Greatness, yes. A dimension beyond, well "Beam me up Scottie" (have to be of a certain age to understand the metaphor). Imagination and precision of execution make this experience truly unique.

One of the best meals and experiences I’ve ever had. Have been to restaurants on the 50 best list in Europe and would put this up there with any of them. The food was innovative and delicious. The wine pairings with each course were superb. The service was everything you could ever want. Attentive but not obnoxious. Nice relaxing vibe that lets you truly enjoy your meal. It’s not inexpensive but it is worth it. I can’t imagine doing this meal without the wine pairings. If I were a local this place would be on my circuit.

What can I say that hasn't been said. That star is well earned and well deserved. The moment you step in you are greeted by friendly staff. The attention to details, the personal touch is unparallel. All this, even before we start eating. We had the tasting menu plus wine pairing. All courses were exquisite and all I can say is, please take the time to savour everything. If the Sommelier ask you to take a sip while eating certain food, you do that. The wine pairing brings out the flavours so well, it brings the experience to a whole other level. We didn't take the extra (truffles, etc.) or do any switches, but it looked very promising. Everything has been thought through and everyone in that restaurant truly work as a team. The hip hop playlist is also exactly what the meal needed, adding an extra layer of enjoyment. Thank you so much for being a great place to celebrate important milestones in our lives.

After years trying to get a reservation, we finally were able to visit for our anniversary. And it lived up to the hype for us. We felt spoiled from beginning to end. The food was outstanding, the staff was very attentive and the ambience was really nice. For a fancy place, it wasn't stuffy and the vibes were great. We appreciated the personalized welcome note and menus, and the staff called us by our names which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend for any special occasion.

Attentive and knowledgeable staff, personalized service, and the blind 9-course menu was such a treat to the senses. We enjoyed our table too- closest to the open kitchen so we were entertained with the orchestrated actions of the kitchen. Even the non-assuming entrance and bathroom camouflage added to the experience.
