Co-founder and chef Jason Weiner creates seasonally focused ever-changing menus that are guided by a market driven ethos. We highlight our personal relationships with growers, fishermen, artisans and winemakers.
Our menus are artisanal and market driven featuring some updated takes on classic french/mediterannean cuisine, regional street food and lots of stuff in between.
We are obsessive about the handmade...We hang our own charcuterie, grind our own sausage, ferment our own kimchi, dry age own steaks, and smoke our own fish & bacon.
The wine list, handpicked by co-owner Eric Lemonides, offers an affordable selection of wines. Specialty cocktails, NY craft beers, and raw bar selections, along with the entire menu are available at the restaurant’s 25 seat bar.

Awesome place. Food and drinks were amazing. Great service too. I would happily go back.
Normally very good, service was poor this time and the entrees were subpar. Biscuits still good tho
Excellent food, service and festive ambiance. Coffee was fresh which is important to me. Not too loud so it’s a great gathering place with friends.
It started with cold mussels and then the suckling pig was one of the worst meals (for a dish I love) that I’ve ever had in my life. The food was all around horrible and a waste of money. Huge let down.
The staff was incredibly nice the whole time we were there. Our waiter was also super well versed on the menu and answered all our questions with a lot of great info! Really enjoyed the experience overall
The truffle Mac cheese was fantastic!! And huge! Also I had the flatbread and the lemon ricotta totally made it. Plenty of food for a 1 person meal. Loved the ambiance…felt like a euro/French cabin? With Xmas decor. It was very slow when we were there but technically it was kind of early (6:15p) for most New Yorkers. So maybe it gets busier later in the evening. Only a handful of tables seated. I would love to try their brunch, I love breakfast food and that menu was to die for 😍
Loved the ambience, creative cocktails, cauliflower and duck taqueria appetizers are a must.
Local restaurant features delicious comfort food in lively, rustic setting. Attentive, thoughtful service. Great brunch choice; will return for dinner.
My husband and I stopped by for a casual dinner. The food was so tasty and fresh! I like their creative ways to combine Asian cuisine and new American style. The fish and lamb shoulder are absolutely delicious! We are definitely coming back.
Great place to eat , would recommend to anyone, love the music
Great food, great service, ambiance on point, would return
Our waiter could use more training. Almost didn’t come back to take our entree order and then when filling wine glasses he just filled mine and finished the bottle with out filling my friends glass.
Was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed ourselves.
Almond is one of my favorite places to go when I am in Flatiron. The service is amazing and the decor of the restaurant really adds to a great dining experience. Would come back here over and over again.
I was very excited to try this restaurant but a little disappointed. The food was good - excellent butternut squash soup and oysters. The other dishes were just good. Although our waitress was very pleasant and attractive, the service was lacking - when asked what white wine they had by the glass she had to try to find a menu and delayed the glass of wine by about 10 minutes when we had already waited 20 minutes or so for another drink as our first drinks were gone.
The food and drinks were delicious! There were also a couple workers replacing the felt on the pool table nearby so there was just a little bit of hammering noise here and there. The noise didn’t bother us at all but the restaurant offered us free desserts! They definitely went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable, and we will be coming back here again.
Ky was great. Good food, nice atmosphere. Great neighborhood place.
Always a great time!!
Our friend is vegan so we ordered a lot of veg. Apps but also for me and my carnivore friend we got the escargot and the pâté. ALL outstanding. Then we split ( not our vegan friend) a beef dish ( forget what it was called) but it was outstanding. We were stuffed and good was excellent.
Went for brunch - have been to Almond for dinner but never brunch before.... very delicious..... different menu than most brunch places in the flatiron area..... I had the tamales with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce - very unique and yummy... my husband had the huevos ranchero- he also enjoyed.... we will be back for brunch for sure -
Need to try the chicken and waffles as they looked amazing!
Comfortable seating, attentive service and good food.
One of our favorite restaurants- both in the city and Bridgehampton!
Highly recommend both!
Took us a while to get seated when our whole party was there and hosts were seating other people but not our party because we had waited for people. Very disorganized and we were waiting over 15 minutes.
I always enjoy dinner at Almond - now that I’m a “bivalvegan” I only eat vegan and oysters, mussels etc - so this place has it covered! The vegan entree was fantastic and I ordered a few sides vegan style which were also great (the greens A+++). Half a dozen oysters at dinner time on Friday for $22 is a steal and they had east coast and west coast to choose from, which I appreciate. It was bustling but we never felt overlooked, almond tends to not disappoint :)
Our waiter, Christopher, was very knowledgeable, attentive and described the menu beautifully. The short rib melted in your mouth. The gnocchi was delicious and my mushroom risotto was outstanding!! We absolutely loved our experience here.
Delicious food, generous portions, servers were attentive. Highly recommend.
The food was not as good as the last time I visited. Also, was disappointed in our server. I ordered a side of potatoes and he didn't even mention that my order came with potatoes.
Imaginative Menu, really nice food presentation and friendly staff. I will definitely return.
Great, Inviting service!! Good food. Manageable noise. Nice place to dine with friends
Perfect neighborhood restaurant for everyday dining or special occasions.
Always great food, drinks ambiance and service.
Food was great!
Our server Kai was the best!!!!! So sweet and caring.
Good service. Had the duck and it was delicious. The gin cocktail was also great!
Great food and service. Excellent martini as well!
It was birthday brunch. Welcoming and inviting from the moment we arrived. Host was wonderful and ended up giving us a different table that was more spacious. Food and drinks delicious and service excellent.
Very comfortable place. Nice ace to be. Friendly. Good food service, and surroundings.
We had brunch, celebrating a few friends birthdays. This is one of the best brunch places I have been and can’t wait to try their dinner menu!
extremely poor service, we waited an hour for them to even take our order and then after two hours we still hadn’t received our entrees. The manager was also extremely rude and not apologizing at all.
We arrived early before dinner seating so satay the bar. This gave us the opportunity to sample smaller portions of some of the regular appetizers. Both the lamb toguitos and the cauliflower appetizers were delicious. For entrees we had the banana leaf wrapped trout and the lamb with grits. Both were well prepared and beautifully presented. For dessert we had the sticky toffee date with crepe friche. It was very tasty. The only concerns were that we had at least 3 waiters and it’s was confusing. The other issue was the front door that was frequently left opening causing a draft.
Great neighborhood dining experience. I had the fish on a banana leaf. It was cooked perfectly and tasted very good.
We ate at the bar and had a great experience. Bartender was super friendly. Food was very good, although the steak wasn't cooked to the right temperature, they quickly rectified it.
