Almond is always a great decision. The menu is great, the service is great. And they actually pay attention to the notes you leave for them to hep make your experience special. A special thank you to Antonio who went the extra step to make sure our night was exactly how we like it!
Almond is, hands down, my favorite restaurant in this neighborhood. I love the cozy atmosphere, impeccable service, and the food is always always always delicious. Every time I take one of my friends or family there, they end up loving this place as well.
Vibrant French Bistro in the Flatiron District. This lively restaurant even on a weekday is packed with patrons. The food is excellent and staff service is courteous and friendly.
We were seated right away and the wait staff was very attentive however, did forget to place order for one of our side dishes. They have a pre-fix lunch for $24 with house wine for $4 more. Would’ve appreciated knowing of the pre-fix option (which I did order) when placing drink. Food was excellent and I’m now a lover of sunchokes!
Liked this place the time I had drinks on the bar for a casual meeting, came back on a Sunday with family and it was disappointing. The wine on the brunch menu tasted like Trump. The salad was sad, like the one you would have with your laptop opened. People were nice though, service is good.
Consistently good food, warm atmosphere and pleasant service.
Service was so bad. I had to put our plates on the table next to us. Food was good.
Fantastic food and service. Restaurant well staffed and everyone super attentive, spacious but cozy interior. They made our anniversary awesome and we both ate every last bite of every dish. We’ll be back!
Unfortunaley the food was cool/cold, especially the pork chop I had. My wife’s duck was luke warm at best.
Great food, even better wait staff. Quite personable. Well worth it!!!
Had Christmas Eve dinner at Almond, and it did not disappoint. The roast suckling pig, a traditional holiday offering, was delicious. Service was excellent.
Food was bad. Service was fine since it was around 3pm on a weekday.
My go to for a work lunch that needs to be both nice but fast. Always good food, nice atmosphere. They will have you out quickly too if you need. Great spot to keep in the back pocket.
A wonderful NYC dining experience after visiting the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.
Always a solid neighborhood go to. Business or casual, fun and fresh vibe. Salad nicoise is great w salmon.
food was very good .....had to wait a good 45 minutes if not longer for our food ....restaurant was pretty empty so surprising ......waiter was pretty inattentive
This was my first visit to Almond, will definitely return. Lunch prix fixe was delicious and good value
We had a great night on our first night of our New York city vacation. Very friendly and very nice ambiance. We were seated at a nice window table and had a really friendly waiter. We really liked the place!
Awesome food but takes forever, like 35 minutes til eggs came out. I do love it and it’s easy to get reservations, as long as you’re not in a rush to eat
I enjoyed the Duck Confit Hash served with a perfect poached egg, along with the one of the signature brunch cocktails. Both were outstanding! Our server was very personable, and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the excellent service we received.
Delicious food beautifully presented in an interesting room with solid service. Will go back when able.
We eat there regularly and always enjoy the great food. Service is usually excellent. Great spot for a weekend brunch or meeting up with friends.
Excellent seafood, pleasant service, lovely restaurant but noisy.
The service was quite terrible, however the food turned out amazing. Additionally, it was quite warm, which was not comfortable.
Don’t pass up an oppportunity to dine here. Would definitely come back. Service was a little spotty at first, but our server seemed to get in the swing of things. Great food.
Almond was fabulous. The menu was amazing with so many great choices. The staff was over the top friendly.
So enjoyed our lunch at Almond. Such a cozy, inviting atmosphere and everyone there was so friendly, attentive and helpful. Definitely going back!
Brilliant, brilliant food, environment, and friendly service. We have found a new go-to place!
Service was OK. The restaurant was extremely busy so it was slow, but the server herself was great. Food was good, but menu wasn't anything special. Drinks were OK. Restaurant was kind of hot and loud. Overall, it was fine but nothing great and I wouldn't go back anytime soon. Perfect for families w/ kids tho! Stroller parking!
Almond is a lovely place. Very good food in a warm, comfortable but stylish environment. Its a good to kind of place when you need somewhere reliable, not over the top but special at the same time.
Wonderful food ricotta pancakes were simply perfect
Definitely will be back & will recommend to others. Waiter was friendly & funny & all service was great. Spacious and comfortable with generous portions from food to drinks.
Restaurant was full and busy. It took 15 minutes for a waiter to ask if we wanted a drink. We ordered immediately because we had a lot of time to review the menu. The food can quickly and it was delicious. After the initial order the service went smoothly.
Great inventive menu
I enjoyed having an informal business lunch in the comfortable surroundings. The menu had plenty of choices for a variety of palates. I would definitely return for a business lunch or a dinner with friends.
First, write your review before you bring a complaint (even a small one) to management’s attention. They will cancel your reservation (after the bill is paid) to make it more difficult to write a negative review.
The food was mediocre, service nonchalant (at best), and management defensive and rude. My complaint was that I should have been given the option of being seated next to a table with a dog — not a service dog sitting at someone’s feet, but a small dog, sitting on the banquette, occasionally working toward the table. When I raised the concern I was told it was my obligation to get up from my table and asked to be reseated.
Best meal I’ve had in New York period. Great room, really nice vibe and food was superb!
The one complaint is that we used a $100 open table gift card on a $72 bill. We couldn’t use it for tip and they couldn’t give us a gift card for $28 for next time so we walked out NOT using $28. Then we tipped $20. A little annoying.
The restaurant has declined considerably. The wine list is atrocious if non-existent - essentially 6 not-so-great options off the main menu drink list, and they were out of anything good. Service was really poor and non-attentive. Food prices and drink prices very high for what you get. Bartender was rude, and passed us to someone else because she didn't want to be bothered, but then observed her rolling her eyes at her colleagues while they were waiting on us. Wait staff not much better.
Wife and I had brunch on a recent Saturday and came away thoroughly pleased with our meals. The brunch/lunch menu covered all the bases and would please Paleos as well as Carbaholics. My wife had Steak and Eggs and I had Eggs with their housemade Chicken Sausage. It was all very tasty. If you find yourself in Grammercy/Flatiron and are looking for a good solid option then I would highly recommend Almond.
