The wait staff and hostess were great. The foods good. The staff were just super nice
Great brunch spot, very kid friendly. Would definitely go back
Excellent for brunch, too
Everything was fantastic. The mussels were great, the striped bass was out of this world and the Grapefruit sorbet was amazing.
I was upset to find that the menu online WAS NOT the updated menu in the restaurant. They had removed the vegetarian entree from the menu and replaced it with roasted carrots with rice that cost $27 when the side of carrots is only $9! The server was lovely and they have good bartenders. I only wish their menu was as advertised as I have a lot of food allergies and restrictions and need to vet every restaurant I go to in advance.
The food was not up to the usual standards at Almond
Great Sunday brunch! Food was delicious and so many options to choose from.
We'll definitely come back !
Our server, Ned, made great recommendations and very attentive. Brussel Sprouts Two Ways was fantastic. Overall, a great place for Sunday Brunch. Thanks Ned!
Almond has always been consistent--with quality food and service. The menu has some unique and interesting choices along with some familiar. Favorites: Brussels Sprouts salad; Buffalo Cauliflower, Truffle Mac & Cheese. Recently had the Steak Frites, but have tried a few things and am rarely disappointed. Both lunch and dinner are great there.
Food was exceptional everything we ordered was great. The cocktail menu is ok but could have more options
our waiter was helpful & funny.
our meals were delicious.
great bloody mary!
The restaurant was quite dark for a Sunday brunch.
Went here after drinks with family and friends and wanted someplace nearby so just gave a shot.
The Cavatelli was to tie for and the shrimp dish was awesome if a little spicy. I could have ordered any number of entrees and been happy. Friendly welcome, efficient but warm waitress. Warm ambiance and cool downtown look. Go!
Really disappointing experience on both the food and the service front. Our server was great when we were able to attract his attention but he had too many tables to look after, including two big groups. The food wasn’t anything special either but the chicken liver pate was great.
Staff was warm and friendly. Food was delicious, especially the sauces the chef created. My fiancée and I got engaged at dinner there and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Almond!
early dinner was perfect top five nyc restaurant sophisticated and comfortable smoked mackrel or trout outstanding marinated hangar steal tasted like filet mignon
Valentine’s Day dinner.
Great brunch spot, especially with kids. Make sure to call ahead for brunch as they get busy on Sunday afternoons.
good food (french toast was great) - but it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive after we got our drinks
Waitress was particularly helpful.
It was my daughter's birthday.
The food was very good.
Almond never disappoints. Food is delicious and staff is great. Antonio is the best!
Almond is an all-around excellent NY experience that doubles as a great neighborhood spot. Menu is simple but creative and well executed. Staff is on top of their game, always there with a recommendation while also allowing guests to enjoy conversation w out interruption. I feel appropriate bringing my teenagers for family dinner as I do sitting at the bar with friends or on date night.
Excellent food, great ambiance, great location. Very good service. Definitely quiet enough for a business dinner.
Consistently friendly and welcoming. Attentive service, nice range of menu options. Delicious food. Very pleasant!
Always a good time at Almond. Terrific food and ambiance. Great for a business meeting
Had a nice dinner. They remembered it was my girlfriend’s birthday which made the night special.
amazing food and drinks service was a little lax as we waited a while to place our order. Also the table was not ready when we arrived which is understandable as it is restaurant week. Overall amazing experience!! I will definitely be back !!!
My new favorite restaurant! I ordered the pork, and the meal was unbelievable. Our waiter was informative and approachable. Everything is delicious! I also loved the playlist in the background. Definitely going back!
As always...... great energy, food and service . Also an interesting wine selection , which is often not the case in many restaurants . Love it!
We had waited for 45 minutes after bread and water were served before our waiter could come to take our order. The beets and arugula salad was very good. My duck was tender and soft, but I found a bit on the too salty side. Chocolate mouse topped with whipped cream looked ordinary but tasted terrific. The restaurant was very crowded at 7:15pm so was quite noisy. There was a pool table at the back of the restaurant where customers could play pool to kill time while your food was being prepared. Food is obviously their strong point. I don’t recommend it if you are in a hurry to go somewhere after the meal. We had a good time though.
Tried this restaurant during NYC Restaurant Week and will definitely come again. Location was excellent, staff was welcoming and friendly, food was delicious.
Thank you for letting us sit down even though our party was not completely there. The food choices were good and the portions generous. The service was a bit spotty - either several wait staff offering help... or none. Most odd. Yet the whole experience was very good - the restaurant has a cool atmosphere if not a bit noisy.
So disappointed in this meal.
The large dining room was busy but not full (entire sections were not seated) but our food took a long time, half of it was burned, the French fries raw and mushy and courses were delivered out of order.
We had to ask for more bread three times while we waited 20 minutes for the appetizers, and our server, while friendly and energetic, made several mistakes and was very difficult to track down. We practically had to jump up and down to get her attention about our burned food.
The bus staff is over-eager and took appetizers which we were still eating. The server apparently knew she had a table of disappointed, high maintenance New Yorkers and tried to make it right with four free, bite-sized peanut butter cups. Too bad one of our diners has a peanut allergy - and another spit it out in disgust.
We won't be returning here or going to Bridgehampton location this summer.
The wine selection is pretty good, though.
Great time with my colleagues. Very attentive and good food
We had a great time, and will definitely be back. We both loved the meal and the excellent service.
bigger than the Hamptons version
Waitress barely attended to our table at brunch. Didn't take our order until she took the order of the people next to us (who were seated after us) and saw us still sitting there with menus. Didn't check on us once when we finally had our food, and was difficult to flag down when one of us ran out of water.
I ordered the eggs benedict. The english muffin was rubbery and difficult to cut. For the prices they charge, this experience was not worth it and I would not go back.
Very accommodating with food allergies and willing to make alterations to the menu, which is great. Our server was a bit busy and missed a few things, but he was so nice and accommodating it didnt impact the dining experience overall!
