Co-founder and chef Jason Weiner creates seasonally focused ever-changing menus that are guided by a market driven ethos. We highlight our personal relationships with growers, fishermen, artisans and winemakers.
Our menus are artisanal and market driven featuring some updated takes on classic french/mediterannean cuisine, ethnic street food and lots of stuff in between.
We are obsessive about the handmade...We hang our own charcuterie, grind our own sausage, ferment our own kimchi, dry age own steaks, and smoke our own fish & bacon.
The wine list, handpicked by co-owner Eric Lemonides, offers an affordable selection of wines. Specialty cocktails, NY craft beers, and raw bar selections, along with the entire menu are available at the restaurant’s 25 seat bar.
One of my favorite places in NYC. Go here often for lunch and dinner. Very convenient area in Flatiron district.
Service was impeccable. Food was perfectly made. Loved it. Accommodated my daughter’s birthday with a candle and sparklers on her dessert
Great food simply prepared. I enjoyed the lamb with greens instead of potatoes and it was great. The vibe reminds me of Portland or Seattle
Service was great and good recommendation for drinks and foods.
Consistently a great place to meet friends for a fab time.
It was wonderful, chicken and waffles were amazing!
Wonderful! A go to spot for brunch and the outside seating for the heart of nyc is so nice and serene.
$7.90 for a SMALL Diet Pepsi & one refill. That’s absurd, even for NYC. Asked for scrambled eggs in huevos rancheros and received runny eggs. Of course, I could’ve returned them but with a baby I have to make meal time quick.
I have been to almond many times .. I just love this place food and staff are always great ..
Lovely! Food was delicious and dessert was to die for
Food was amazing and service was outstanding. I would definitely go back!
Very friendly and accommodating. The place was very busy but very easy to talk. The food took a little time until it arrived but worth waiting for. My only critique would be the servers. Not enough attention throughout our stay.
The experience was... it really was 50/50. I've been here before and it would've been a five again but the service was something ... else.
My wife and I chose the Prix-Fixe menu to get a good deal and try multiple things. The food is absolutely amazing. The shrimp cocktail was on point, the avocado cucumber soup was refreshing, the kimchi pastrami sandwich was WOW amazing, the pasta was cooked perfectly and delicious, the trifle hit all the right notes and the chocolate mousse was decadent.
The service, well... We arrived early and were seated promptly. We already knew what we wanted so we put both menus to the side of the table. Usually that means that we are ready to order but not this time. Our server asked us what we would like to drink and then disappeared. When he finally arrive with our one beverage, he just left without asking if we were ready to order. Now if he was slammed at this point and had 20 people in his section, I would understand but there were three tables in the entire restaurant and 2 people at the bar. There were probably like 2-3 bussers and 1-2 food runners and I think 2 servers. I was baffled. Once he took our order, he disappeared and didn't show up to our table until almost the end of the mains. I looked around to see if he as just standing around and using his phone so I could flag him down to order desserts but no just nowhere to be found. Once we ordered desserts, I asked for the check right away so that I wouldn't have to find him again later and we could leave. As expected, once the check was paid, nowhere to be seen now with only two tables in the dining room.
IF the food wasn't so amazing, I would've turned around and never come back here. Maybe this was a bad seed server, a one time occurrence, hopefully. Till next time...
I got the wedge salad-the only thing I was disappointed by was how much dressing was on this salad; if I were to get it again I would ask for the dressing on the side. I wasn't super impressed by the fries; they got cold and hard quickly.
Almond is consistently amazing, delicious, and fun!!! Great spot for all/most occasions.
We had Saturday brunch on a gorgeous Saturday. Outdoor dining is first come, first serve. The Bloody Mary was respectable. The yummy, hot rolls that come out to the table are addictive. The braised greens omelet made with egg whites was good, but the crispy potatoes were excellent. Macaroni and cheese was rich, good, and plenty for two meals. The Lardon Croque Gratin was also enjoyed. The toasted Italian bread thrown on the plate with the omelet realty is a waste of bread. The rolls are too good to waste t8me and calories on subpar bread.
Food and service is great. Our group got the cauliflower, burrata and short ribs for appetizers and they were all delicious. Steak frites with the upgraded Italian fries were amazing. Cooked perfectly. Will return!
From beginning to end a wonderful experience. Service very attentive! The wedge salad one of the best we’ve had with yummy onion rings. Our skirt steak and fries devoured! With Summer beans and a toffee cake & gelato that left us so satisfied! We’ll definitely go back !
Food was great and ambiance lovely ! Service was a bit slow - later side of a sunday evening!
Overall a good value ‘
Second time having brunch here. It’s comfortable. The service is excellent. And you can hear the person with you. Oh. The lemon ricotta pancakes are great!
The service and food were quite good. We had east coast oysters and calamari a la plancha as appetizer and they were fresh and delicious. Our entrees were also very good.
Excellent food - friendly professional service - great space.
Another solid meal at Almond! We are regulars and have been going for year. Always yummy. Great for kids. Big space and they are very accommodating. Fabulous burgers and we tried the chicken for the first time - delicious. Once Brussels sprouts are back in season go for the Brussels two ways. Honestly, everything is good - oh...don't forget the raw bar. I love the shrimp cocktail. Have to give a "shout out" to our server Mark who definitely was one of the best we have ever had at Almond! He was professional, funny, and extremely sweet. We had a lovely meal, and will absolutely be back. Thanks Almond :-)
Ordered “Hash Our Way.” It was different and delicious. Would definitely order that dish again.
Unless you really like the sound of kids having fun playing at at the pool table in the back of the restaurant for brunch, request a front table or go elsewhere.
Solid meal but firmly believe the Bridgehampton location is far superior in terms of food quality and presentation. Both locations have great service and friendly staff.
The food was delicious!!!
excellent lunch & dinner option. good value for the food quality and the menu features seasonal options. our server willing to recommend beyond the usual "everything is good" . try for a table just inside or outside the patio minimizes street noise and still part of the restaurant scene.
Service was terrible. Waited forever to Ofer and then again to get food. Coffee took more than 20 minutes to arrive. Not sure if it was and understaffing problem or just a slow waiter
Loved the flavors and the fact that it’s all locally sourced. I’m a fan, will be coming back.
My chicken dish was very dry and potatoes were luke-warm. Drinks were good but average experience. I’m not sure if I’d go back and if so I’d probably order something else. Wife got the scallops and was average as well.
Never disappoints almost have a super time Our waiter was lovely. I did the set menu which I wouldn’t normally do, Thursday it was fantastic
Very very nice
We had a wonderful dining experience this past week; the quality of the food was superb, great wine list, fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Love love the head bartender and staff. Love it.
Nice range of items on the menu and very good wines by the glass and bottles. We had the burrata which was really good and the plat du hour (duck on Thursday) which was excellent! Nice atmosphere in or outside!
Food was very good as well as service.
I had eggs and chicken sausage which were wonderful.
The potatoes were nice and crispy too.
Small portions of mediocre for the cost. Can you do better.
There were mice everywhere on the outside patio, hard to enjoy a meal with mice running around your feet.
It wasn’t the best.... wasn’t the worst. I came here for restaurant week with a friend. It was just OK.
