Co-founder and chef Jason Weiner creates seasonally focused ever-changing menus that are guided by a market driven ethos. We highlight our personal relationships with growers, fishermen, artisans and winemakers.
Our menus are artisanal and market driven featuring some updated takes on classic french/mediterannean cuisine, regional street food and lots of stuff in between.
We are obsessive about the handmade...We hang our own charcuterie, grind our own sausage, ferment our own kimchi, dry age own steaks, and smoke our own fish & bacon.
The wine list, handpicked by co-owner Eric Lemonides, offers an affordable selection of wines. Specialty cocktails, NY craft beers, and raw bar selections, along with the entire menu are available at the restaurant’s 25 seat bar.

Great outdoor space. Good prices. Amusing to guess what they charge. Never more than what is listed but sometimes less. Guess correctly. Take a shot!
It was great. Awesome food and great service! We will be back.
Service was excellent. As was the food quality. Only complaint was not having the A/C on in the restaurant and using fans. Otherwise a great night and the restaurant week menu was great.
The food was outstanding and our waiter was helpful in providing a straw plastic cup for our toddler!
Reunion of old friends and we had a wonderful meal outside (so the ambient noise was typical Manhattan - not your fault). Two of us did the price fixe and enjoyed the delicious choices. Great service too!
The food was terrible and the waitress was the only highlight. Food was so so bad.
Terrific service and lovely ambiance. Appetizers (buffalo cauliflower, lamb meatballs) and main courses (trout, fennel agnolotti, mussels and burger) were all quite delicious. Only misfire was the panna cotta for dessert. Will definitely make a return trip.
Very good food and so pleasant 🥳
Great food and atmosphere, went for brunch and enjoyed the unique dishes which were very tasty.
The meal and service was excellent. The only knock was there was no air conditioning and fans were used throughout the restaurant.
No A/C, just some fans inside on a hot, muggy day. Really a miserable experience -- tough to enjoy croque gratins and duck hash when you're sweating bullets. Food was below average. Croque was extremely dry.
Been here plenty of times but this time seemed to be a one off with quality. The AC wasn’t working well inside so we sat outside which wasn’t as bad. they were understaffed as the one waiter was overwhelmed and took longer to get our food. Most of the food was good but one entree had to be returned. Will come back in a few months to give it one more try.
A great place for brunch with a friend. Excellent service. I just need my old favourite dishes back.
Always an amazing meal and service at brunch, lunch and dinner! So happy to be back at Almond! Thank you!
The outdoor seating is lovely and the street is quiet, which is beneficial.
Wonderful overall experience. Amazing food, warm atmosphere and exceptionally nice and professional staff.
Our dining experience was very pleasant overall - great food and really nice service. We did have water drippings from the above air-conditioning units in the same building. Our table happened to be placed in between the two awnings.
No air conditioning!!!!!!!!
Gracious host and food & service were each perfect.
Wonderful food- we had the tamale and chicken sausages with eggs. Both were delicious and the little biscuits served before were great, too.
The outside spaces are beautiful and the service impeccable.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough!
All good except ac was out. Staff handled it graciously however
Had a good meal. With my friend who had a delicious meal. $25 burger was disappointing but the half chicken was delicious! Had a new server who was delightful!
I was a little surprised by how expensive it was for the food we ate. Years ago, they served sparkling water or still water for no charge. When we asked for sparkling, they brought out Pellegrino and the bottle was $10. I thought that was a little steep. Having said that, it's a lovely place and the service is very good-good neighborhood spot.
The food was very good but the portion, for the price, was skimpy. I would go again but order a more filling meal.
The food is overpriced for the quality. The service was not very attentive and often tried to sell us on more things - appetizers, dessert, coffee - even after saying we didn’t want anything else. The outdoor seating was pleasant, though.
After not being in NYC for work for 18 months, Almond was my first restaurant to go to. Bonus- it was Happy Hour!
Welcome back! So glad you came to visit us.
Have been to Almond multiple times. Their food is good. Ambiance is nice. Great service. One of our go to places for brunch whenever we are around the area.
The three of us sat after work for delicious Almond food and drink. It didn't disappoint us, or my beagle.
But what stood out on this particular visit was the hospitality of Noelle (our server) and Max, who I believe was the manager. I brought my dog with us and a can of his food, but a lapse in decent dog parenting struck and I forgot a can opener. I imposed upon Noelle and Max to open the food and not only did they do that, but they plated it for us too! This beagle now has champagne taste and I happily blame them.
In all seriousness, there are few if any places that treat their patrons this well. Thank you and see you again soon!
It was nice to have Almond amongst the living. This was definitely a favorite pre pandemic. Though closed for 14 months they didn’t skip a beat! Will be adding this back into my rotation. Great service, great food, just how I remembered!!!
Stumbled onto Almond while killing some time before dinner and grabbed a drink at the bar. Really cool and inviting ambiance, great bartender and drinks. Convinced us to come back for Brunch, which was equally delicious. The people we encountered were just genuinely nice, helpful and engaged. Recommend!
My husband and I very much enjoyed our dinner. I had the lamb special, which was fantastic. My husband had skirt steak, which was not quite as fantastic (it happens). Nevertheless , when we said something, the management stepped up and handled it wonderfully. So, overall a terrific experience and I highly recommend.
The team was great, from the time we walked in until the time we left. We ate brunch and decided to stay for dinner. Everyone was attentive and didn’t miss a beat. I will certainly be back!! The food was delicious:)
The food was beyond delicious. I had the soft shell crab , my son had the steak and my daughter and husband has the short ribs. No one was disappointed.
Amazing food, cocktails and service! I’m really looking forward returning.
Spectacular food, creative menu and wonderful service. Doesn’t get much better than this.
I had the NY strip steak, it was as good as any five star steak restaurant. We We had a great table outside iit was good people watching and the service was good .
Nice to be back back.

Celebrated a friend’s surgery recovery. Service was excellent. Entire service staff deserve a bonus!!

Great to dine there again! One of our favorites!
