Co-founder and chef Jason Weiner creates seasonally focused ever-changing menus that are guided by a market driven ethos. We highlight our personal relationships with growers, fishermen, artisans and winemakers.
Our menus are artisanal and market driven featuring some updated takes on classic french/mediterannean cuisine, regional street food and lots of stuff in between.
We are obsessive about the handmade...We hang our own charcuterie, grind our own sausage, ferment our own kimchi, dry age own steaks, and smoke our own fish & bacon.
The wine list, handpicked by co-owner Eric Lemonides, offers an affordable selection of wines. Specialty cocktails, NY craft beers, and raw bar selections, along with the entire menu are available at the restaurant’s 25 seat bar.

We couldn’t decide what to order because there were so many wonderful choices. Since it was Thursday (risotto night!), we went with the mushroom risotto special: Yum! We also ordered the lamb shwarma dish. Excellent.
well balanced menu of many of my favorite dishes. Friendly staff. Warm atmosphere
Best brunch spot ever. Consistently good. Reliable. Incredibly friendly and proficient service. Always bustling with a interesting crowd. A Flatiron neighborhood gem.
Ricotta pancakes rocked the Casbah. Nice and roomy and not noisy. Always enjoy eating there
Great service and good food
We sat outside and it was nice.
Cocktails were good. I like the barrel boulevardier!
My biggest beef, was that the fries were terrible. I don’t like thicker hand cut fries like that, particularly with steak frites, but they were also severely undercooked.
But we did have some of the freshest east coast oysters I’ve had in a while
Everything is delicious
Very slow to bring out meals. Long wait actually.
The manager is very nice, and food was ok.
The overall was just OK this time. I have been other times which was better.
Comfortable outdoor seating. Excellent wait staff. Tap beer lovely selection. Moule Frites, Fennel Agnolotti, all well prepared, delish. Will be back.
I keep coming back to Almond because the service is always perfect as well as the food! Kudos to them for their consistency!
Very nice place! The food was delicious but a bit pricey
Great place for omnivores' brunch (but not so great for vegans)
We had a mini reunion there and they have great tables for larger parties.
I highly recommend if you're in the area.
food was good (used to be great). service was spotty. but happy to see that restaurant was busy and Nyc is bouncing back.
Our service was fantastic and the food was delicious!
Service was excellent bu
The best! Consistant
I love Almond. So happy to go back there after being away from the city during Covid. It's right around the corner from my office and I will be a regular again!
Our server was on point but the food was boring and not entirely delicious. It didn’t feel very farm to table.
We sat outside and during our meal, we saw mice running back and forth the sidewalk adjacent tu our table. I´m aware that this is a matter of a public area and thus the local government is responsable for its definite solution, but I´m sure Almond can take matters in its own hands to resolve this problem if they have no support of the city. Very disgusting.
While we enjoyed our meal (and the vibe), I am sorry to report that the service was very bad.
Not only was the waiter very slow, but he forgot to bring us part of the meal, and then blamed it on a "computer glitch"!!
It is the same as always. Overpriced and just average food. An English muffin for $5 is ridiculous and it comes out cold and not buttered, sinful for me
Service was extremely slow. Took 30 mins for a waiter to acknowledge us, place wasn’t even busy. Waiter was servicing other tables near us… ordered drinks right away and probably 15-25 mins go by, and still nothing. Almost an hour in the reservation and we just walked out.
We’ll really a cousins’ get-together. Even after more than a decade, I was not disappointed with our visit. In fact, I made sure to give my compliments on how great it is to know that the food and service were still pleasantly consistent after this time. We had a lovely brunch, after Almond kindly adjusted our time - twice - and the experience set the time did the rest of our gorgeous Sunday.
A lovely leisurely dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. I loved the BLT salad with heirloom tomatoes and pork belly, and the NY strip steak was perfectly medium rare. Wait staff was super pleasant and attentive and readily chilled a bottle of wine that wasn't cool enough--not to mention adding an unexpected dessert and extra glass of wine to help us celebrate. A delightful evening that ended with smiles on our faces. There are a number of interesting items on the menu, so I have new things to try when I go back.
Entre did not come we had to take it home
Marco was our waiter and he was so nice!
The staff was SO friendly. This is an especially hard time for waitstaff so it was extra appreciated how lovely they were at Almond. My pastrami and eggs were "out of this world", as promised. I love that Almond is farm-to-table and it's in a great location so it's often a go-to for me in the neighborhood!
Everything we ordered was excellent. We had the duck hash with eggs, and shared an order of the French toast and pancakes. We preferred the French toast with bananas but both were excellent. Our waitress was superb. We also loved the small biscuits that came in Lieu of the typical bread. It was served with honey butter and was scrumptious.
We come to Almond regularly and look forward to the good food and friendly service. And if something doesn't work out, because many people want everything immediately, there is always a helping hand nearby. And the coffee tastes good, too.
Gorgeous food, great service. Really lovely menu choices
Always an enjoyable time Great neighborhood place - food and service never disappoints
Lovely outdoor space - good food yet the service is lacking
The food was very good, recommend the duck confit hash for brunch. We had a baby in a high chair at our table and the staff was very helpful - brought his french fries right away and brought us the check quickly when we asked to avoid a cranky kiddo. Would definitely dine here again for both the food and service!
I love brunch at Almond. The outdoor seating is lovely with great plantings. The mimosas are big. The food is delicious.
As usual, excellent food and service. We appreciate the COVID protocols and large outdoor eating space.
Lovely evening to sitting outside. Service was very attentive start to finish and staff well trained. Duck taquitos, citrus olives, and special burrata were all delicious. The burrata was incredible--so fresh and creamy with roasted tomatoes & grilled bread. Special Taco Tuesday were great--3 huge juicy chicken tacos with all the accompanying salsa and veggies. Chocolate Pot de Creme was so dense, rich and creamy! Excellent craft cocktail and wine selection. Almost as good overall as the Palm Beach location.
Food was great, service was subpar
Celebrated our anniversary here and it was just special enough without the stuffiness. The food was delicious and well priced for fine dinning. Even in a rain storm it was a great time.
My husband and I really enjoyed it. Everything was great!
