Co-founder and chef Jason Weiner creates seasonally focused ever-changing menus that are guided by a market driven ethos. We highlight our personal relationships with growers, fishermen, artisans and winemakers.
Our menus are artisanal and market driven featuring some updated takes on classic french/mediterannean cuisine, ethnic street food and lots of stuff in between.
We are obsessive about the handmade...We hang our own charcuterie, grind our own sausage, ferment our own kimchi, dry age own steaks, and smoke our own fish & bacon.
The wine list, handpicked by co-owner Eric Lemonides, offers an affordable selection of wines. Specialty cocktails, NY craft beers, and raw bar selections, along with the entire menu are available at the restaurant’s 25 seat bar.

Been here several times for brunch and it usually is better than this. Both my companion and I ordered the Pastrami and eggs. A very small amount of eggs and the pastrami was very dry. It seemed like it was reheated.
This was a great find for Sunday brunch before attending a performance at the Irish Rep. Theater. Varied menu with great choices and fair prices. Happy and professional servers. Good Food. I look forward to a return trip when I am in the neighborhood.
Delish!!! Great spot for light bite or full on meal. Excellent cocktails!
Great meal, exceptional service, and please say hello to Eric...I’m a friend of his from the Bridgehampton Restaurant. Jim Feigl
Always love this place! Consistently great food and cocktails
Nothing much ever changes at Almond which is the secret of their success. Nice bar scene, good food, fairly priced for 2020. A steady presence in the area.
Nice place. Good location with pretty accessible street parking if needed. Menu was good for sharing or for ordering own entree.
What a great discovery. Loved the vibe, the music, the attentive but non-invasive service, and the choices. I had the eggs with sausage, with salad on the side. Great comfort food! I will be back.
My parents and I enjoyed Sunday brunch at Almond over the weekend. We had a variety of the dishes on the menu, our favorites being the Duck Confit Hash and the Pastrami and Eggs. The restaurant is quite large and we were sat in a nice booth close to the front windows which was perfect. Servers were very helpful in navigating the menu and super friendly, however became slightly less attentive when the restaurant started to fill up. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!
Went for a birthday dinner and started off great but the service was not up to par. We ordered appetizers that never arrived as our main entrees came first. Took a while to reorder drinks and then we would receive drinks when we didn’t order it which ended up being on the house. The server ended up leaving early or shift ended and did not notify us. We didn’t know until a new server came up to advise he would take care of us. Would have been polite for the original server to inform us. I’ve been here several times and will go back because the food is good service does need a bit of an improvement though
excellent!!
We had car trouble on the way there, so could not avail myself of the listed entrees. We had a quick meal at the bar of french fries and escargot. I would go back just for that. It was a early dinner for us at 530pm therefore very quiet. It's a large space so can imagine Friday and Saturday night being really loud.
We will return to try the entrees
Seated us despite our party not fully arriving on time! Very appreciated when we have a reservation. Great brunch as brunch reservations are hard to come by
Service was excellent - prompt, friendly, attentive, and kept the coffee hot and water cool. Bloody Maria end Mimosa were great. Food was well presented and prepared. Ambiance was nice, relatively quiet, good for families and get together with friends. Good mix of people - young, older. Oh, and don’t be surprised if a celebrity or two show up for brunch too!
Lovely Valentine’s Day dinner!
Perfect restaurant for Valentines Day!
I love the lunch menu. Lots of good sharing options. I had their house-made pastrami in a sandwich and it was wonderful.
Loved the food - perfect service
Beautiful, rustic French decor. Simple but beautifully prepared food with an emphasis on seafood and charcuterie. Service is graciosa and professional.
I have been here twice and really like the atmosphere and the food.the waiter could have checked with us more often
Great with kids!
Not as good as I remember it to be
One of the best restaurants we've been to in NYC in a while.
This was the most interesting menu. Great variety. healthy farm-to table, and scrumptious!!
Excellent service. Special barrel aged cocktails and unusual and great wine list. We had a nice and knowledgeable server -excellent!
Restaurant week
Excellent meal
Great food in a nice setting with excellent service. Very interesting menu.
Excellent food and service.
It was great per usual!!!
It was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday brunch, but they accommodated our reservation even when we had to start later than originally planned.
I ordered the ricotta pancakes (3 med. size) and a side of chicken sausage. My friend ordered the french toast and a side of eggs. Neither of us were able to finish all of our food, but it was spectacular.
We ended up staying well over an hour there, but were never rushed out of our seats. Service was attentive and accurate. Would for sure go again!
Been to Almond several times.....it's our "go to" for a wonderful Sunday Brunch! Great menu diversity, always good food, fun (and attentive) waitstaff, and a casual, comfortable atmosphere. If you haven't tried it, you're missing a gem!
As always great service, food and ambiance. I was welcomed back and, after I mentioned that I loved the table, the immediate comment was that was noted for next time. Can’t beat that service....
Perfect early evening dinner. The food (lobster spaghetti) was great, the waiter was fun, and the atmosphere was romantic. Everyone makes you feel welcome. Oh, yes the shortcake with blood orange gelato was delicious too!
Immediately you felt like you were with locals! Great food, service was outstanding.
Very good food and service. Would go back for brunch more often
Had a great business lunch there, perfect low noise level and space for talking. I’ve also been there at night with my boyfriend indoors and in the summer seated outside. The ambiance is very cozy and a little rustic - especially with the big stone ovens going in the back. There’s also a good amount of space, it can be intimate without feeling cramped - they can probably accommodate larger groups too. Overall great space for all occasions be it friends, dates or business.
Really hot (temperature) but other than that everything was great!
Really good find by accident when looking for New Year’s day brunch. Food was really tasty, service was efficient and friendly, decor was lovely for Christmas. Would recommend and would good again.
As usual our service was impeccable. Staff had a complete understanding of the menu and the restaurant. Our experience was a warm, cozy meeting of friends with laughs and great conversation, an experience made extra special by the great ambiance, host and servers. We’ll return again and again.
Good ‘ol neighbourhood standby that rarely disappoints.
Good service, solid food, great local
Almond has very good ambiance, service and cocktails. Food is good but nothing special, the pricing is reasonable for NYC standards.
