   We loved our meal here and cannot wait to return. I know everything is expensive in Toronto now and this was no exception. Was the value there? Difficult to say. I've had recent meals that were equally as excellent that were less expensive. That being said, the service was good, food was excellent and the vibe was casual yet warm and inviting. I Definitely recommend.

   The food was way too oily. We had higher expectations since it’s been given a Michelin rating.

   Was very excited after seeing Alma in the newspaper almost every week. To start, a Bao and a Tuna handroll were a great introduction with interesting textures and enjoyable flavors. Between the Squid Fried Rice and the Pork Wonton and Noodles, I couldn't find a note of flavor aside from oil coating my tongue. Portions are fair and service is friendly and attentive. I don't drink and can't comment on the offerings there. Washrooms are clean and comfortable. The dining room was far too dark. Maybe I hit an off day, maybe it's not my style of cuisine. For the price here I was severely disappointed and confused.

   All of our dishes were outstanding! Far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back again.

   I went with the Trust Alma option (Chef’s Recommendation) and honestly it was way more food than I could finish. :-) The server even offered to pack my dessert since I had no more space in my stomach. Price wise I felt it should be $$$ rather than $$. A cocktail bar would be an added bonus, as wines are priced a bit steep. Overall a very good experience.

    Alma is amazing. Truly one of the most unique and inspiring restaurants in Toronto. Chef Anna’s food leaves no palate unsatisfied. Accompanied by a fantastic selection of delicious wines curated by Ben. A night spent at Alma is a recipe for an unforgettable evening.
