The Flatbread alone is worth the trip! Really simple clean flavoured starters, then more Asian inspired mains, the fried chicken is like a caramel with fresh lime on top absolutely delicious. Nice drinks list, and the blonde redhead cocktail was a winner! The style of the restaurant was perfect and the plants brought it to life, the chef and owner has got this spot on, wishing her all the success and longevity! Would definitely come back

The most daring and innovative restaurant in Toronto. Chef Anna Chen is pushing the boundaries of asian fusion in the toronto food scene.

The high ratings here for Alma are well justified. A small and intimate setting, excellent service and most importantly, a truly innovative and outstanding menu. I can see people coming here just for chef/owner Anna's potato and scallion bread with a glass of wine, but there are many dishes to enjoy from her small but varied menu. Highly recommended.

Valentines day dinner. Delicious meal, great and knowledgable staff, drinks are tasty, wine list is strong. Slightly on the pricier side but worth it.

We thought that one of the dishes was not as good as the other three dishes. We thought the servings were small. The ambiance is very noisy But very pretty.

Absolutely incredible start to finish! amazing service, all the food was amazing. We went for the NYE tasting menu and it was amazing. They accommodated my gluten allergy and I was able to enjoy everything! Would come again for sure!

A cozy lovely restaurant who's food and attention to detail far exceeds the price point. The Wednesday half price wine is such a deal especially since the wine v list is small but stellar.
All the food is so thoughtful and lovingly executed. Both homey and comforting while still being a high b end experience. Really this is an underrated neighborhood jem.

Met a friend for a lovely dinner at Alma. We enjoyed all four courses — delicious — and appreciated the lovely ambiance. One thing we noticed is that the space became markedly louder as it filled up. Our table was on the outskirts of the dining area, but if we were in the middle of the room it may have been harder to hear each other. Overall, an excellent dining experience. Can’t wait to return!

Food was underwhelming for me. Best dishes were the flat bread and sesame ice cream. Everything else was okay for me - ordered the mustard & pickles (good snack), mackerel fish (cabbage addition was good and tasty, but fish wasn’t anything special), and bean sprout salad (too sour and too much dressing). My boyfriend ordered the pork dumplings, which he thought was nice.

Overall atmosphere was really nice and cosy. Limited wine selection, but good options available to try (beer also worth trying). Great staff too, just wish food was as great.

Handsome place with a very small menu. Lovely hot flatbreads and stracciatella and very good wonton with noodles. Fried chicken also very tasty. Worth a visit.

Awesome in every way

Alma has definitely become one of my favourite restaurants. Lots of dishes remind of my grandma food - home. Staff are always friendly and making sure we are having a good time. Look forward to coming back again soon.

Really great dining experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Quiet, cozy retaurant, great for a date or special occasion. Start with the homemade bread, the eggplant spread and a pork plate, cured in house. Perfect. Highly recommend

This is my second time at this restaurant. And, unlike many restaurants in Toronto there was consistency across the board. The food was carefully and tastefully prepared. It wasn’t overworked, And the staff were pleasant and helpful. A real nice change from all the chains in Toronto.
