Absolutely fantastic addition to the Sarasota restaurant scene. Alma de Espana feels like a breadth of fresh air…truly excellent food, attentive incredibly friendly service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Standouts were the garlic shrimp and lamb tapas and the Bone in NY steak. The deserts were next level…truly out of this world! They were only open 3 weeks when we were there and I would say that they were still finding their stride from a service perspective, however the unbelievable friendliness of the staff more than made up for any kinks in the experience. Overall..it’s a ‘must try’. We will be back when next in Sarasota.

Absolutely delicious food, great service. It was a first visit but it will many more to come back. Adding it to a list of our favorite restaurants.

Every dish was a celebration of flavor and authenticity. The tapas were perfectly executed, and the paella was rich and aromatic. Service was great — attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely passionate about the food and the experience they were providing. You can tell there’s heart and soul behind everything here. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Spanish(not Latino) food. Croquetas, octopus tapas and flan were creative and tasty. Paella was authentically delicious. A great addition to Sarasota restaurants. We enjoyed the experience and will be back!
