Allsopp & Chapple Restaurant + Bar

The food is very well served! We had the portobello fritters for shares and that was huge, very tasty also! I had the trout for main plate and recommend it.
The ambience is a bit loud.. I was there on a rush time so I’m not sure if they can do anything about it.. it was just lots of people talking.
Overall, I enjoyed the good and the environment.

The staff was amazing from making reservations to paying the bill. Michael was handled the reservation change request. The hostess was on point with me dropping off birthday party favors to have our table stage with them. Our server, Caleb, provided excellent energy, recommendations, and attention to our energetic group! Hands down, phenomenal experience. Can't wait to go back!

Gave it another shot after our last visit. I'm happy to report that the service was very good. It was a full house and the service did not miss a beat - prompt, attentive, friendly. A vast improvement over our last visit. However, there were a few problems with the kitchen. Fryer was not working, which meant the appetizer we ordered wasn't available (these things happen, but staff should know it is down so patrons are guided to other menu items) and one entree arrived without a side that was described because the kitchen ran out. Again, these things happen, but patrons should be aware at time of order.

Overall, a much-improved experience over last time. Hoping to be back again soon.

Liked everything about it. Liked the seating, servers wore masks, never felt rushed as we wanted a drink before ordering dinner. Food was excellent as was the service. Valet remembered my name!

First time trying snapper and it was delish! The blueberry mule w/ lavender was a nice spin on the traditional Moscow. Ordered the chocolate lava cake with vanilla bean gelato for dessert and omg, I’d visit again just for that!

Our waiter (who I think is the owner or manger) was awesome and very detailed in describing the dishes for us.
Overall, our dining experience was wonderful and look forward to visiting again when back in town.

Lordamighty!!! I’ve have searched high and low to find a restaurant that mimicked New Orleans style Shrimp & Grits and Chef Bronner did that!!!!

The staff were amazing and I think Chef Bronner and I could be really great friends! Our host and waiter were amazing as well! The atmosphere was very calming and intimate! Every dish we had was delicious! This place gets a 10 out of 10 for me and I can’t wait to go back!

I was disappointed with the restaurant. Our server knew very little about the food or wine. The food was oddly seasoned & almost cold. When I told the server about it he either didn't know what to do or didn't care. I don't mind spending a bit at a restaurant where I get a good meal & service but this was just expensive for nothing. It was also a friend's bday in which never was brought up by server even though I said something.

Impeccable as always!!

We went for the four course Easter brunch. Everything was good, it was so hard to finish everything. The portion sizes were pretty large. Only complaint we really had, was that the fish was over cooked, and my vegetables with my entree were still slightly raw. We still enjoyed our time, and the meal itself. We will definitely be back again for a normal dinner night.

We were very pleased with allsopp. The food was great the service was wonderful. We were able to visit with a very quiet atmosphere. Also like valet parking.

Allsopp and Chapple is the best restaurant in downtown Little Rock, hands down. The food was amazing, and the owner even stopped by to say hello and thank us for visiting. I highly recommend it and will be back as soon as possible.

This was our first time to eat here and we will definitely be back! Best meal we've had anywhere in Little Rock, by far. The bruschetta was amazing, seabass and bread pudding were to die for. Great atmosphere, not too dressy but dressy enough for a special occasion. Connor is the best chef around! Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Our hotel desk clerk recommended Allsopp&Chapple and we are so glad we followed her advice. We loved everything about it. The menu choices all looked good - it was hard to choose. Service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was perfect. The bar was friendly and beautiful. There was an ex-waiter at the bar - she comes back for the carpaccio- that’s a pretty good recommendation.

Visiting little Rock with my boyfriend. I'm from OKC he's from Nashville. This was a solid pick for a date on our last night in town.

I had the chicken dish which I think is simply the best chicken dish in town. My husband had the short rib and said it was amazing. This is one of our favorite places for date night.

The fish and the filet were great. But I feel like they were trying too hard to be a fancy restaurant.

The food was delicious, and our server was very kind. But, it was extremely loud and chaotic. The kitchen kept forgetting our order, so we waited an hour on our food. The management was good to make up for for it though and discounted our meal. I’m thinking it must have just been an off night.

This is my new favorite place. This was our second visit and both times we had the privilege of having Mike as our table host. Best service around. And the food is amazing!

Excellent restaurant, great food. It was just really loud.

Absolutely outstanding experience. The food was incredible and the table service was phenomenal. The place was busy and we did have to wait about 15 min after our res time to be seated, but thankfully there was room at the bar. Drinks were good, but pricey. Ambience great, but noise level was moderate to high. The food, however, made up for any issues we had. It was just out of this world. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio was to die for!

Overall, highly recommended for a nice meal or special occasion. A bit expensive for just another meal of the week.

This place never disappoints!! My go to dinner place in Little Rock when I have friends and clients in town

This is a tough review to write since our prior experiences here have been so wonderful. This time, however, was a major disappointment. Friday night and a full house and the staff was simply overwhelmed. Sat at the table for 20 minutes before finally getting up and asking for a server to wait on us. The assigned server never showed up and new one was eventually provided. When the food order was taken, the server failed to ask how about the doneness level, as a result the pork chop was overcooked and tough. When the food was delivered, the runner dropped off the plates and the table and took off without noticing that silverware was missing because it had been picked up with the appetizer plates. We've had good experiences in the past, but this was time was a disappointment. Crazy loud, cold air blowing (in February), poor service, food not to expectations. We will be back to try again because of our prior experiences, but it won't take too many nights like this night to take this off our list. At this price point, you simply expect much, much more.
