We had a great dinner experience at this bistro. We chose to sit inside, although the patio looked nice. We were close to the open kitchen and just liked the busy vibe. Our server suggested the tasting menu. She didn’t push it, and after reviewing the interesting menu, we decided to let the chef pick for us. This was a great decision! The four courses were served with nice wine pairings, with perfect pace and explanations. Really a good value, we had six wines.
One thing that impressed me was the involvement of the owners, who worked hard the whole time. One stayed busy on the floor and the other monitored every dish coming out of the kitchen. The result was a great dining experience.
Give this place your business, they work hard for it!
Wonderful experience and amazing set menu
Fantastic! Food was unique and exquisite, service was excellent. All four of us loved our dinners, and agreed the Black Truffle risotto was spectacular. We sat outside, and it was just a lovely night. It was hard to find, but so worth it. Walk down the alley towards the twinkling lights find foodie heaven.
Food was delicious, worth the prices. We had an amazing experience.
I loved everything about this restaurant! The food was spectacular and the restaurant is charming. This is my new favorite restaurant for sure.
Pre Miami half marathon dinner it was wonderful!!
Incredible food and the staff out of this world. It’s small. But that’s what makes it special. The burrata is out of this world! French Italian fusion at a new level.
Delicious food, excellent service but small portions for the money
Great food - very authentic with terrific taste, esp pastas. Great service.
Great tasting food but very small portions for the price , could have the same type of food with better value at many other places in Miami. The ambiance is unique but the service could be improved. Also they charge you for the water but don’t tell you or give you any other options when they serve it to you and just have to find out at then end when you get the check. Will probably not be coming back.
We booked for dinner on 31st December at 7 p.m., we did not expect to find as a unique choice a "New Year Eve" Menu (starting from 100 USD) at least we were not informed about it. The worse thing was that the service was extremely quick (too quick, they had to make the table free!) and at 8:30 the "four courses" dinner was over!
The atmosphere and service was great . The food was delicious . Two in the party ordered the four cheese ravioli , which the taste was great .
The presentation of the one long piece of ravioli was less than appealing . I think it would behove the chief , for the sake of first impressions , to cut the pasta into smaller pieces . I will not go into further detail but the presentation took away from the over all experience
Restaurant improbable au détour d' une allée.
Plat très raffinée avec des saveurs originales.
Belle découverte sur miami
Food was delicious, many unique choices, for our vegetarian daughter lots of options & she loved the cauliflower appetizer & ravioli. We are eager to return!
Since the restaurant is not visible from the street look for the signs for station 28 or Mersky Greek & head into the courtyard.
Amazing food and amazing service!
Incredible food and ambiance
Everything about Alloy Bistro was outstanding!! I highly recommend finding this little gem!!
Interesting menu, great service. Excellent for a special event. Did not feel rushed. Food is served family style, which is a nice touch, although in that case, the portions should have been bigger with sharing in mind.
The food was fabulous. They referred to it as Italian fusion - a much updated and lighter style. We had the 5 course tasting menu, though we actually had 7 courses. My boyfriend was worried we’d be hungry but we could barely finish. Everything was beautifully prepared. The Mahi-Mahi was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was crisp on the outside but just barely cooked inside. Beet carpaccio and watercress salad was light and very flavorful. The lamb entree was outstanding and also unlike any I’ve had in the past. Our pasta course was very large but light artichoke filled gnocchi. My only regret was that I was too full to finish my dessert though I loved every bite I pushed myself to devour.
The service was superb. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about menu. The service was as good as you’d get in the finest restaurant.
This is not your typical Italian restaurant but as a full blooded Italian whose travelled extensively in Italy, I believe it’s among the best Italian restaurants on this continent.
The food was good but not as good as the first time I went to Alloy. The lobster in my husband’s pasta was chewy and my tuna was over cooked.
Amazing! The truffles risoto was very special
Very cozy! The food is amazing !!!
A hidden gem in downtown Miami. I had the Chef’s tasting menu and was dazzled by creative and delicate dishes - one better than the next. Good choice of spices and too quality ingredients plus a very friendly and attentive staff. I will go back.
Outstanding overall the food was exceptional so was the music & the service
This place never disappoints, bring all my friends here, everyone loves it and
wants to come back
First time at Alloy and loved it. The menu is unique and the food deliciously prepared. The service was warm, friendly and the right amount of attentive giving our group uninterrupted time to catch up and laugh.
We just did a search and came up with this restaurant and liked what we read so we booked it on Open Table and Ubered over. Alloy is tucked in an alley with several other restaurants, a very European feel. We were offered a choice whether to eat inside or out and we chose the outdoor courtyard. There were fans pointed at us so it was quite pleasant. We were greeted by Luna who was charming and served by John who was equally great.
Our first course was a cauliflower appetizer with a feta foam that was amazing. Who know something like that could change the way you think about a vegetable?
Then it was onto out entrees. I had the Lamb Shank which was cooked to perfection. The meat literally slid off of the bone. The accompanying sauce just made it sing! My hubby got the filet which was black from a charcoal preparation and cooked via Sous Vide, perfectly medium rare and a stunning presentation.
We were completely full but decided to try the Grilled Pineapple dessert. This is where my new life began...Grilled pineapple surrounding a brioche from Heaven above(think best French toast in the world). There was also whipped foam to dip all of this delishishness in! We were flying high. It was the best thing I have ever had! As if this wasn't enough, the chef came out and talked to us and a surprise additional dessert showed up which was also amazing! I don't wan't to forget to tell you about the wine. It was a COS Maldafrica red wine from Sicilia and wonderful.
Let's just say this was one of the best finds ever. We loved the people and the evening.
Stumbled upon Alloy after they had just opened. Have been there over a dozen times since. Terrific food and service. Get the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. You won't be disappointed.
Great atmosphere. Accommodating. Unfortunately, lack of contrast in tastes and textures. I.e. beef ragu + potato foam, all the same in textures with no surprises.
The food was delicious and the server was really helpful, kind, friendly and entertaining. It’s quite a small restaurant that gave the impression it’s just opened, but the food is a real treat. The handmade pastas were fantastic.
Very creative and unique cuisine, great downtown hidden secret
Wonderful experience overall
Tasting menu was amazing!
We found it to be so cozy and the staff and chef was so helpful and friendly. First time but won't be our last for sure. Never knew it was in Downtown Miami. I work Downtown and never came across this gem. I must try for everyone.
Food was excellent too!!
Great wine pairing
Gem hideaway in a courtyard downtown
Fantastic food. We felt lucky to eat this chef’s food while he is still low key. Predict that won’t last.
My husband and I tried the Alloy tasting menu with wine pairings this evening. It was good food and GREAT wine pairings. Top notch service, and the place is so cute! The chef’s tasting menu was admittedly less imaginative than other similarly priced tasting menus around town. The food has a more rustic/chic vibe. That being said, what a cool spot! We will be back for regular menu date nights in the near future.
I have heard about the restaurant from friends, but had not had time to make it over until last week. I had such an amazing experience, I haven't stopped raving about it! Every dish was so delicious (we ordered several things and shared - the truffle risotto looks so plan, but is to die for!).
I highly recommend this place, food and drinks were perfect - and $30 for a bottle of crisp white wine was the perfect addition to our meal.
The food has a lot of personality and chatacter; excellent quality and seems prepared with care; delicious. A craft type establishment. Cons: dishes came all when ready without apparent coordination for the table. Service was nice but not efficient. Also, it gets hot outside in the summer. Overall, worth it.
The place is not very beautiful, it is small and at the bottom of an entrance, but the servce is good and the food is spectacular.
