It was a little hard to find but worth the trip. The only problem we had were the portions. But everything else was fabulous. We felt like we were in France or Italy at a small cafe. Maybe that’s why the small portions?
I recently stayed for three days in downtown Miami and I wasn’t on a budget so I had options. This little gem was my favorite restaurant and a great value. It was like dining in Madrid with a meal made by a incredible Italian chef. The family that owns this place treats you like family. It is a bit difficult to find but it is certainly worth the effort.
This is a tiny gem of a true Italian restaurant. This was my third time there and I expect to be a regular. The food is good, fresh, inventive and delicious. Their wine list is not big, but it is interesting. In Miami it is so hard to find decent Italian food (not Italian American red gravy, which is fine but not this place.)
The ambiance here is amazing but I found the service to be lacking. Server was not very helpful with menu choices and we felt rushed to order. It took some time to receive the bill. The food (and service)at Fratelli Milano was much better.
Excellent food and service! The owner has over flowing energy and making us feel soooo welcome and uplifting. Love this place, defiantly come back.
Service was incredible. Food was a strong 4/5. Would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful experience tonight. The food was fabulous-we had the roasted cauliflower appetizer, the gnocchi seafood dish and the pasta with wagu beef-all excellent. The pasta is made fresh. For dessert we had the chocolate dessert and the grilled pineapple. Everything was expertly prepared and the menu is innovative.
As for the ambiance we dined outside in a lovely courtyard. The cushioned seats and fresh orchids were appreciated-a cut above other restaurants in the area.
Service was excellent also.
This is a delightful, tiny, authentic Italian restaurant which serves inventive, fresh food. Their wine list, although not long, is interesting as well. I don't give five stars for non-fine dining restaurants, but this has become a favorite.
Super cute restaurant with fantastic food and a great wine list. The ambience feels very European, definitely unlike anywhere else in miami! Such a hidden gem
A hidden gem every time I come here I leave more satisfied than places I would end up spending 3-500$ for my dinner
Great atmosphere and service awesome food
Stellar as always!
Initially the visit to this establishment was fabulous. However, we were treated very poorly and disrespectful once there was confusion with the order. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone in Miami for any reason. Terribly disappointing experience.
Tucked away in a small alley, Alloy Bistro is a hidden gem worth discovering. We had a wonderful dinner at Alloy Bistro. The food is amazing - fresh , interesting and beautifully presented. The wine selection was very good as well. The service was incredible. Beautiful ambiance and great music. We will definitely be back.
This is probably, the best restaurant of miami. Feels like a trip to italy, amazing flavors and service. totally recommended
Okey experience. Rather basic /low range in terms of food quality, and customer service. Not more and not less.
Hidden gem in downtown Miami with a charming courtyard location. Wonderful set menu to ring in the New Year. This was a return trip to this restaurant, and I would do again the next time I’m in the city.
The food is mostly very tasty and nicely presented but the portions are small. (Including the wine pours). We had the tasting menu and it was barely enough for us.
The dessert was a massive disappointment. It was tiny and not good at all. We didn’t eat it.
The service was good. Everyone was attentive with everything from refilling water, to cleaning up extra dishes to asking if everything was alright.
Dining outside is lovely aside from the ladies from the restaurants sitting right there with their phones, smoking and speaking rather loud.
Highly recommend! Love the food, and the service!
Service was sub par but manager made it up
Good service and excellent food
Thank you so much for your feedback. It means a lot for us. Happy Holidays!
a very nice place, very cosy. Even when on the terrasse one would never believe in downtown Miami. Friendly and very efficient service. And the food is outstanding, matched with very good wines (tasting menu). A great experience!
Great atmosphere. Great food. It was our second time. We will definitely do a third.
Food was amazing. The dishes were unique and all were delicious. Atmosphere was great. If weather permits, sit in the courtyard. Service was attentive. Could not believe located in middle of downtown Miami. Will definitely return soon.
I am a NY'er and pretty jaded as far as eating out goes. Eating at Alloy has to be one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. It's fresh, original and absolutely delicious. The staff and atmosphere transport you to a little alley in Europe instead o Miami. Looking forward to my next trip to Miami so I can eat at Alloy again!!
Thank you so much for such an inspiring evening.
The ambiance is cozy and fresh.
I couldn’t even know how to describe the octopus gnocchi I had. They were perfectly cooked!
We’ll return for New Year’s Eve!
Awesome neighborhood gem with great food, great wine and great service. Perfect for a date, dinner with friends in quiet ambiance. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.
This was the worst, most deceptive experience we have ever had at a restaurant. When we asked about the wine list, we were told they did not have anything on the list, but if we gave a budget, they could recommend a bottle. We gave our budget for wine, and our tastes, and were given a bottle that we were assured was within the budget. We ordered a second bottle, were told they did not have anymore of the one we were previously given, but had something $5-10 more. We said of course and asked them to bring it. When our bill came at the end of the night, the bottle was 3x our budget. When we asked our server, she essentially said it was too bad. It was not until we asked for a manager that they quickly adjusted the bill to the true pricing. This is unacceptable and a complete sham. It is a shame because the chef has a great product, but the business is being run like a tourist trap on ocean drive preying on unsuspecting tourists who do not know better. Thankfully, we are locals and know much better. We will never return and urge everyone else to stay away.
We deeply apologize for your bad experience due to the server behavior. We regret what happened, specially because those behaviors don't represent our establishment and our philosophy of hospitality. The employee in question has already been terminated. We are always working on maintaining a high standard value and service to our patron and We do take those reviews very seriously. Thank you.
Another great food experience! This is my 4th time and I have gone with different people each time and everyone consistently loves it and plans to return. The only complaint this time was that the music was way too loud to enjoy each other's conversation.
We had an amazing dining experience at Alloy! The food was fantastic. The ambiance was really charming and the server was attentive and helpful with the menu. We had the cauliflower appetizer and the raviolo carciofo which were both delicious. Highly recommend this lovely little hidden gem. We will definitely dine there again!
I normally don’t write reviews for restaurants but this one is due.
For our anniversary we chose this place. The reviews were amazing so... we gave it try.
Definitely, not the a common restaurant in Downtown. We didn’t even know that a gastro alley like that existed in Miami.
When we got in front of Alloy Bistro my first thought was: “This is Europe!” Love at first sight.
As per our reservation, they knew we were celebrating our anniversary. He greeted us with two glasses of Prosecco.
Then, the food surprised me. The Duck Prosciutto starter was so flavorful... My husband had an Octopus as a starter as well. The most delicate octopus I’ve ever try! He told me that next time I should have one just for me because he won’t share with anyone next time :-)
We had a Truffle Risotto and a Branzino with asparagus on the side, and a Beef Tenderloin with smashed potatoes. Paired with a Chateauneuf-Du-Pape.
For desert we both had a Cappuccino. Balanced and silky.
Not sure if the food was better than the service, or the place itself or viceversa.
I’m happy for my City because we finally are able to find and enjoy that kind of experiences.
Thank you Alloy Bistro for a memorable anniversary.
I loved the atmosphere and location of the restaurant. I felt welcome upon arrival and they were very accommodating withbseating and more. Our waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. The foie gras was delicious but very small portion. The gnocchi, while the menu description made me salivate, were average and overly salty. My friend's choice burrata (nothing special to say about it) and fish of the day was average and overly salty as well.
The place is overpriced for the the quality and quantity received.
Will probably not return.
Charming restaurant. The food was phenomenal. Will definitely come back.
Great chef! Not only is the food DELICIOUS, but the owners & staff are very friendly & knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Went on Sunday night, on MIAMI&the beaches was saying that MIAMI Spice menu was running. When we got there we discovered that it was not, after a bit the owner/manager/waitress (really we didn’t understood) told us we could have the menu if we wanted... we work in the industry so we didn’t want to bother. Anyway food was ok, the lady I guess Luna was really nice but honestly the experience didn’t worth the price.. and due the fact that we choose not to do spice just to be nice cause was in our right at least a small offering would have been appreciate. It’s all about Hospitality...
Great food and service. The owner stopped by numerous times to make certain we were satisfied with both. The broiled cauliflower is awesome as is the Pineapple French Toast dessert.
WARNING! After visiting Alloy Bistro for the first time you’ll feel kind of a shock! It is as good as unexpected.
No matter the reason you choose this restaurant it will be always the right one.
I visited Alloy Bistro for my birthday. They seated us at their patio... I felt like I was in a different country already!
My daughter and I had a bottle of Barolo - my favorite wine - (at a very reasonable price) Then the Cauliflower Served on a bed of baby spinach gazpacho!
I was like... “WOW!”
How is it possible that a place like this existed in Miami and I didn’t know about it!?!?!
At that point I accepted the suggestion of our gentle server to try the Tasting Menu called “The Chef Choice”.
The Chef decides what he wants you to try! That’s amazing!
Truffle risotto, Octopus (OMG!), Brazino, Pappardelle Lobster... and the Pineapple dessert...
The best part is that the food is so beautifully cooked that I left the restaurant feeling light, happy and satisfied.
He made a great job because now... I always have a table reserved for every Tuesday for lunch, and Sunday for dinner.
Delicately curated, carefully managed, deliciously flavorful... It’s The Mediterranean in Miami.
Thank you Alloy Bistro!
Nice discovery. Difficult to find from the street, as it is behind other restaurants. Pleasant atmosphere. Quiet. It was a bit warm inside but the food was good to overcome the heat. I will return
Kind of disappointing. Food portions small; not much originality with salad sides for Miami Spice and what was listed on Miami Spice menu online was not available. Very hot inside the restaurant and service was slow and there was no one there dining. Went to celebrate my bday for lunch and restaurant did not do anything special compared to other restaurants that I have been at.
