Superb food, great service and a lovely place to spend our first valentines day together! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something different!

Allotment knows how to deliver artisan food, packing it with bundles of flavour. The pick of the dishes was the humble french onion soup; if it could speak it’s voice would be heard as far afield as Birmingham. Service was caring, astute and smiley. The waitress ensured I could dine and still make my train, which I did in plenty of time. I love the interior, loads of naked panelling and sparkly lights. It is a sociable, modern pub set up. Price is spot on for the experience. I’m tempted to return, just to try their locally sourced beef. From the looks of the butchered cuts, the dishes would be a taste sensation.

Had a really great lunch at Allotment. The service was great, decor lovely, staff attentive and the portion sizes huge. Great value for money and I will return even if just for the Halloumi fries!
