Alora is one of our favorites restaurants in New York! So happy it was open again and was just as wonderful as it ever was!
Can’t wait to go back 😉
Loved the service and overall experience... Totally up my alley, service was superior!
A little pricey but hey, it's Manhattan.
I really enjoyed the food and the wine at Allora. I also liked their outdoor "social distancing" dining set up. I'd come back again for sure.
Honestly the only i was ok with was the food And I mean ok & service wasn’t all that Great it took 2 hours for our meal also My woman was so uncomfortable people smoking marijuana in front of Customer’s and smoke being blown to my woman & yea sorry and oh yea did I forget to mention it was my birthday celebration and it got ruined I’m sorry for the first time being here it will be certainly my last totally unacceptable
Very good place and great service.
Modern, updated restaurant. Great food and sharp service.
Took my wife out for Valentine's day and they couldn't get us out fast enough. They served us appetizers, the meal and coffee in 1/2 hour; it was ridiculous. Even after I told the waiter there was no rush, we weren't even finished with the appetizer before he brought out the main entree.
I ordered chicken masala and he brought me veal. I told the waiter it was veal and he said no, it was chicken. He brought it back to the kitchen to check and he came back and said it was chicken...2 minutes later, the manager came out and said he was sorry, it was veal.
They offered to remake it and I told them no thank you as my wife was already half way through her meal and by the time I would have gotten it, she would have been done. They proceeded to remake it anyway, and when it came out, it was chicken tenderloins not cutlets...again, ridiculous. I sent it back and told them to just forget it.
If you're thinking about this restaurant, there are plenty of other better Italian restaurants in NYC; we'll never be back there.
Amazing food as always. We keep returning for the overall experience- superior food, excellent service and good location. Have not had a single dish that’s not the highest quality and service is always amazing. It can get a little noisy if it’s packed but we haven’t ever been there when it was unacceptable. One of our favorites in NYC.
Very welcoming right from the minute we stepped in. The Maître D gave us a warm welcome and seated us immediately (Saturday at 6:30pm). The waiter and staff met us at the table with water and bread and took our drink order. They didn't have a cocktail menu but have a full bar and made us excellent martinis. I cant say enough about the service, it couldn't be better. We ordered appetizers to desert and everything was great. The table side prepared Caesar salad was excellent. A great find pre theater and we loved the place.
Wonderful dining experience. The food was spectacular and the service was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much to the staff who made us feel like family. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Great service. Loved it.
Very attentive. Replaced my drink without question when it was not right.
The service was outstanding....maitre D was amazing....our meals were delicious!
Always consistently great !
Food was AMAZING and the service was superb! Our server (Richie) took the time to make the experience enjoyable- offered recommendations based on our likes. Split the meals into various plates and offered up the best wine. 5+++ stars!
Food & service great, love the tableside Caeser salad preparation, roll up digestive cart & off the chart personality of the hosts
Wonderful little gem in mid-town! Superb Italian - "You'd better believe it!!"
Last night in NYC after a two month visit! Allora is a really nice Italian Restaurant with good food and a super good wait staff.... Complimentary Grappa or Lemoncello to end the night!
Ok joint a little touristy and less genuine for a NYC Italian restaurant
Greeted promptly. Amazing staff with everyone contributing to the experience. Food, wine, and dessert was delicious. Very satisfied with our experience.
We had a fabulous experience at Allora on Christmas night. Fadil went out of his way to treat us like family. The food is fresh and outstanding. Service was excellent. We really enjoyed the complimentary Parmesan, salami and hot peppers as well. Highly recommend dining at Allora.
As I tell Elio and Frankie, if i am not at Allora for dinner i am not in NY. The absolute best food and the best guys in town. They truly make it special at Allora.
We arrived 30 minutes early and they were happy to accommodate us. We had a delicious meal, with great service.
Will definitely return.
Excellent service food and Elio makes you feel special. Best Italian n midtown ! You will love . They have the longest pasta 🍝 in the world :)
The staff was unbelievable. We went back for breakfast 3 days and felt like family.

There are quite a few specials and the food was very tasty. The service was quite efficient. There was a nice variety on the menu
It was a holiday dinner. It was fantastic!
Excellent all around ! Great food - but great service . Ask for Elio ! He’s the Best 👍👍😊😊
Fabulous restaurant with a keen eye towards providing customers with outstanding service and care.
Maitre d took excellent care of us. Table was late being ready for our reservation on a packed evening but the staff went over the top to make up for the inconvenience. Excellent authentic Italian and world class professionalism. Will come again!
Allora is an excellent Italian restaurant. Everything was superb. Impeccable service, delicious food, very attractive restaurant on both occasions when we dined here. I highly recommend it.
This was my second time here and just like the first time the service was excellent. The maitre d’, Fadil, was warm, welcoming, and treated us like we were regulars.
The wine, bread, hot peppers, chunks of parmigiana, kale salad, octopus, pasta bolognese, chicken parmigiana.and the limoncello are all superb. The Caesar salad was nothing special so get something else’s.
Not sure if Open Table is aware but booking a time slot does not guarantee a table - as we and others found out - but after waiting stoically for 20 mins for a table we sat down next to a noisy table of 10.
The food was incredible and the maitre’d was enthusiastically giving us freebies throughout the evening including 30 year old port ...
I love this place and would recommend it despite the crazy wait. Just avoid the rush hour.
Come for the amazing food and you’ll keep coming back for the outstanding and friendly service.
Amazing food! The staff were great.
First of all, reservations weren’t really needed, there was no check in desk. It was all Helter skelter with about 50 people waiting around the crowded bar. People that were coming out were complaining that they were rushed through dinner. The problem was, once we got seated we didn’t get our menus for five minutes we had to ask for them, and after waiting to find out what the specials were, we had to wait five minutes for our drinks. From then on it was rush, rush, rush to get us out and turn tables. Speaking of tables, they kept bringing a table across from us with no room to sit, setting it up, moving it out , bringing it back again , and moving it back again to the back of the restaurant. The food was good, but not worth the price, and the atmosphere wasn’t relaxing. The table behind us complained that their risotto wasn’t coked, and was inedible. My date had the same meal, ten minutes later, but was cooked correctly. Place was just as crowded after we left as it was before we were seated. Seems like they just had available time slots left on Open Table, so they could overbook tables to get as many people in and out, we will not be coming back.
Allora was a good experience. We booked a table an hour before our reservation and were given a choice of tables. We had an early reservation and the restaurant rapidly filled up after we were seated. The wait staff was highly choreographed and we never felt forgotten despite being in the back corner of the restaurant. The food was really good. The only downside is that because we had an early dinner reservation we were very rushed - they were busy and trying to clear the tables, but the otherwise lovely experience was marred by the very apparent rushing that they were doing.
We visited on a night when a very loud group was present. The restaurant is very small and the group was very loud. We literally couldn’t hear each other talk, so we had to eat in silence and go elsewhere. The ambience was otherwise nice, the staff was wonderful, and the food portions were large. There were no sides and the waiter or menu didn’t advice us of that upon ordering. The food was fine but nothing special.
