The food at Allora is, without question, the best in town. The service sets a new benchmark for hospitality—warm, attentive, and polished. The cocktail menu is incredibly creative, making it hard to choose just one; each drink bursts with complex, rich flavors. We especially loved the multi-course dining experience, which can be thoughtfully paired with a progression of cocktails. The wine list remains impressively strong, offering excellent options to complement any dish. Some of our favorite items include the Allora Salad, the octopus gnocchi, the meatballs, the yellowfin tuna, the cacio e pepe, and the ragu. The tableside steak is an absolute standout—expertly carved right in front of you and truly unlike anything else in Grand Rapids. Other memorable entrées were the filet and the pork chop, both cooked to perfection. The scallops were among the best I’ve ever had. Be sure to save room for dessert—the lemon creation is amazing, and that’s coming from someone who typically doesn’t like lemon. Overall, this was the best dining experience in town. We’re incredibly grateful to have Allora in Grand Rapids. It's only week 2 and I have already been there a handful of times.

We were looking so forward to dining here before a theatre evening.. Made our reservation @5;30 in order to leave by 7:15 for DeVos next door.. Our waiter was very nice, only took about 10 minutes to recieve our yummy Martinis.. our experience deteriorated from that point 0n.. we ordered our oysters and entree at the same time, in order to make sure we stayed on schedule …it took an hour to get our Appetizer… our waiter literally disappeared … Our Entree never came and we had to find another server to bring our check at 7;10.. No one apologized.. or offered any compensation for the situation.. Such a very disappointing experience .. we are frequent diners in Grand Rapids, won’t be back to Allora sadly..

FANTASTIC! My wife and i had been looking forward to Allora’s opening for quite some time. Each IG post increased our curiosity. Our server was great as she introduced us to the menu and provided descriptions and recommendations. The yellow fin appetizer and burrata were our favorites starters. The fried peppercorns accenting the yellow fin were a perfect crunchy/salty addition. The meatballs were also very good. It’s evident the pastas are made in house. The bucatini had a perfect “bite” with a sauce that had incredible flavor while still being light. The fried pork chop was good but I’m really looking forward to trying more pastas and the fresh fish when we come back. The limone dessert is, I think , the best dessert I’ve had in all our years of dining in GR. It’s a must order. Food - 5 stars! Service- 5+ stars! Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and personable. Ambience- 5 stars! Love how The Reserve was remodeled into an open inviting space with an upscale vibe. Love the color choices and design decisions and so happy the painting from the first year of art prize still provides a focal point for the dining room. Value- 5 stars! There are choices! We love taking our time and enjoying the dining experience and the breadth of a menu. Enjoy yourself! We had a couple next to us that clearly didn’t get the memo about enjoying the experience and having patience in a new restaurant’s first week. Their server and the staff should erase them from memory. Hope week 1 is a resounding success. We look forward to coming back many times and adding Allorna to the list of restaurants we love. What a great night at Allora!!! The ambiance was beautiful and the food was great. Our service was wonderful and our sever had such a great knowledge of the menu already. We were super impressed. Even more impressed that everything went so well during opening week. Can’t wait to go back!

Allora was a good experience. For me the highlight was our server Madi. Chill, aware, and great to talk with. The food was good but at the end of the day for the price it was slightly over priced. For a nice dinner we will be back but for the price there our other options in the area that can scratch that itch. Thanks

Beautiful interior and small nice touches for the tables. Our server was attentive without being over bearing. Nice wine and cocktail selection.

Overall a great experience. The food was delicious - definitely don’t skip the tiramisu, it’s so unique and probably the best I’ve ever had. Service was fantastic. Levi is a gem. He is so personable and gave us a ton of great suggestions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Allora. The restaurant design is gorgeous and the menu is perfect. Our server was excellent. Loved it in every way. We will be back!
