Allora by Da Soli
pan seared, porcini crusted Salmon Filet finished with house made fig preserve, risotto and spinach
baked with marinara and mozzarella cheese
tender, lightly dusted calamari rings served with marinara sauce
The chicken Marco was good.
The apple fennel salad was okay, but they could’ve put more than 1 slivered almond and maybe a half teaspoon of cheese!
The fried calamari was standard, they were not lightly dusted with coating and no tentacles.
I will go back and try again.
Food was great and served hot. Server was efficient and friendly. Enjoyed our meal.
The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. This was the first of many visits to come!
The food is fantastic and the staff is great!! What a wonderful chef. Everyone was very polite.
Great food -
Friendly service, excellent food! Locally owned BYOB. Always consistent.
If someone wants excellent food at a great price in Marlton then you should go to Allora! Steve our waiter gave exceptional service as usual! Highly recommend for a nice night out.
Outstanding. Will most certainly return
Good basic local southern Italian. Nice dining room for a strip mall venue. Food is solid but not special - definitely a step up from “pizza place Italian” but not quite “fine dining Italian.” Good for family and reasonably priced BYOB southern Italian dining.
Thanks for dining with us. Not sure how dining on 2 pasta dishes and an eggplant parm could label us "solid," "a step up from a pizza place," and "not quite fine dining." Really needed in the review? Maybe try our Salmon Fico, Briaised Beef Short Rib, or our Prime Pork Chop. Then I think a reasonable judgement could be made. The pizzeria thing, insult to us and the great pizzerias out there.
Again, we had a great meal and a personable server.
Always a great dinner, and excellent service @!
Service was excellent as always thanks to Taylor. Mark the owner and chef cooked some amazing consistent meals!
Happy that we were able to get a last minute reservation on a Saturday night during a holiday weekend. We were a little dissapointed that they were out of some of their most popular dishes and that the number of menu items have been scaled back. The website also needs to be updated to reflect the change in their menu. Hopefully this is because they are just getting back on their feet after a long period of restrictions due to Covid. Dinner and service overall was very good and we enjoyed our visit.
Went with Friends and had Clams Siciliano, Sausage and figs, Nanette's apple and fennel salad for appetizers all were outstanding.
Main course of Veal Cutlet Italiano was excellent, Veal Saltimbocca was
great and Taylors Grilled Pork Chop was fabulous.
Over all just a wonderful dinner.
Food was very good!
Wonderful little Italian restaurant byob! They just remodeled and it’s great. We had the mushroom spaghetti and it was amazing!
The food is always delicious here. We’re never disappointed.
Always top notch. Haven’t been out to dinner for 6+ months, this was our first choice with no hesitation.
The food and service were fantastic just like it always is!
Graduation dinner that was perfectly wonderful
Great food. Open table did not give me my points for this reservation however. Not happy about that
We had a fantastic meal and Taylor was a great waiter.
Allora never fails to bring its best! Food and service were great. So happy for Mark and his team to be back after a difficult year. We were rooting for you. We no longer live local but this is our go to place for a lovely dinner experience when in town. 😋
Food was delicious and our server was great! It was Mother’s Day and the food came out quickly too!
First time here! The food was flavorful and different than regular Italian menu! Service was fabulous and on point! Highly recommend and will be back again!!! Hidden treasure in Marlton!
I’ve never been disappointed at Allora!
Excellent food perfectly cooked with superb service and exquisite flavors
Salmon with Fig topping over spinach risotto was amazing!!
Great food. The service was exceptional. The hostess and young woman who helped clear tables snd refill water glasses worked extremely diligently and were fabulous. Our waiter managed all of his tables superbly. We made a tapia event with many appetizers from the calamari (totally awesome) two orders, the clams casino which were delicious, sausage and figs with barata and balsamic sweet snd savoy. Highlight of the dining was the mussels, they melted in our mouths snd were clear and tasty. Highly recommend and we will be dining again. Nice BYOB and it seems to be know by the locals. You won’t be disappointed.
Food was okay. Mussels were great. My hubby's dinner was lukewarm at best, maybe room temperature. For $28, it shoulda been hot. So we got a dessert on the server, which was average at best. My flounder was okay. Well prepared, but sauce (and we all know flounder has no flavor without its accessories), had zero flavor. Servers are overworked. Megan was great but had too many tables. Not much ambience. We were put in a very small, dark room at a tiny table even though the restaurant was half empty when we arrived and never filled up. Their eye is NOT on the ball in this place. Too many really good BYOB's in the area to bother with this place again.
Diverse menu, delicious food, competitively price with good service. A hidden gem!!
The food was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to return. The chef is doing it right. Keep it up!
Great food as always! Steve our waiter gave exceptional service. Highly recommend Allora for a special night out.
Service a bit slow. Not fully staffed yet post-pandemic. All the laid off service staff found other jobs if they could. Service will return to high levels in a couple of weeks for sure.
Food was outstanding. Service a bit slow and unattentative. Ambience nice.
Excellent quality and quantity of food with prompt and attentive service. One of our favorites that never disappoints.
The four of us were placed in the room with a very large party group and two other large groups of people. The noise level was so loud we had to practically scream to one another. We felt sorry for the waitress who had to keep repeating things because of the noise level. The food was very good but was difficult to really enjoy the evening.
Many good Italian food places in this area this was our first visit to Allora. (1 of our party of 4 had been there previously). Extremely disappointing on most levels.
They must have been very understaffed server-wise (tho the food runners and hostess station seemed staffed) and/or overbooked with large parties. Had it not been for our extremely pleasant friends with whom we dined the multiple disappearing acts by our server would have been intolerable. He was hustling all night but I'm assuming other parties had his primary attention and he did try to get right over on the several occasions when I yelled "Hey (his name)."
My pasta dish was bad on several levels: pasta undercooked, unbelievably bland and so runny that it was close to pasta soup. Again, overwhelmed kitchen perhaps? My girlfriend's Eggplant Parm (the menu claimed "Best in Area") she said was mediocre at best. And tho many might think this is a small thing, they adamantly refused to do separate checks by couple based on precise order, stating they "were too busy" to do that. Wha??? I always requested it with other couples, never refused elsewhere.
I'm a one and done here. As stated many other fine Italian food dining alternatives around.
We appreciate you dining at our restaurant. We would never want anyone to be "one and done." However, as far as the comments on the food and service, I feel they were based on the fact we could not accommodate your request to do separate checks. There are other Italian restaurants in the area that probably separate checks on Saturday night. Better? I beg to differ. We had many happy customers on a busy Saturday night. Sorry you were not one of them,
