I am very concerned about how long Allister is going to last. The food was good, some dishes bordering on great. The cocktails were also good… when we finally got them. The actual wait staff was great, but the front of the house is otherwise a mess. While we waited for a table to be ready, which took 25+ minutes even though it was not busy, I attempted to get us drinks at the bar. I sat on a barstool for over 10 minutes before the bartender showed up. There was no one else at the bar. I’m not sure that’s ever happened to me before.

Thank you Mr. Covert for taking the time to write a review. I'm a little disappointed to read this as my team and I tried our very best to accommodate your group. Your reservation was for 5 people. You arrived with 8 guests. We had other parties arrive for their reservation at the same time so our servers were attending to them. Since no one was seated at the bar when you arrived, my bartender helped me rearrange the tables and get you set up as quickly as we could while waiting for a table to leave in order to use their table to again, seat your party. That's why she couldn't also be at the bar to make you a cocktail. As you recall, I came by and let you know this while you were seated at the bar. The BEST Fathers Day dinner with friends visiting from out of town. The space was filled with energy and lots of families celebrating. The Buddha Plate (greens chopped) continues to be a fav. Both “dads” raved about their steaks. The truffle burrata on the charcuterie plate was fantastic! Our server Leah made us feel so welcomed, was extremely knowledgable about the entire menu and ensured we had a great experience. 5 stars!

Enjoyable summer evening out on Allister's patio. Cocktails were well made to our fussy specifications. Food keeps getting better each time we return. Really like their take on a Cobb Salad, especially the dressing and the smear of guac on the bottom. Halibut was perfectly prepared. Salmon needed just a minute longer, but the presentation was beautiful.

Shared the beef tartare which is awesome and unique. The Buddha plate cannot be missed! I added salmon and my friend added chicken. Great service… my favorite spot for lunch.

Fabulous dining experience again for our third visit. The service is impeccable too. Our charming server Cody was so friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the restaurant and the menu. Kept the water filled, always a sign of a great restaurant. All the dishes are unique, well plated and a delight for the senses. Beautiful use of seasonal ingredients and a fantastic understanding of spices. The salmon dish was succulent over spatzle, the braised beef fellows the bone, shrimp toast app again was tremendous too. Soup of the moment was curry, excellent!

We were here for Sunday brunch and had a lovely time. It was a hot day and there was plenty of seating for lunchtime (12-2). I loved the “summer breeze” drink on the spritz menu. It was so refreshing and delicious. My Cobb salad was also great. Basil dressing, blue cheese, and thick, crispy bacon pieces were exactly the textures and flavors I was hoping for.
