   Calamari, zucchini sticks and the tbone were very good, my duck breast with risotto was not so good, I think the risotto was reheated and floating in water. The service is great

   Every time I come to Alley and Vine, it is amazing. Really like the food in the drinks. The waitresses are always very sweet and accommodating. Thank you so much.

   Pretty empty in there for a Saturday night, which is sad cause we love this place. Service is awesome and the food is great. Cozy little spot and great for a date

   It was my birthday dinner and we had fun. Food was great, customer service is superb and the ambience is cozy and nice. Me and my family will definitely go back.

   The restaurant is lovely and the one waitress working did her best, but the food was very disappointing, the French toast overcooked and pancakes undercookef.

   Two friends and I had a leisurely lunch at Alley & Vine. We ordered ordered herbal tea, but they were out, so I asked for just hot water, which came with lemon and a cute little jar of honey which was just as satisfying as tea. My friend and I ordered a beet salad which we split. The salad had gold beets, pomegranate seeds, pecans, and something I can't identify that was crunchy and delicious, and lots of greens with just enough of a citrus vinaigrette dressing. I ordered the fish tacos which were small tortillas stuffed with fried breaded fish, veggies, and a delicious sauce. The tacos were accompanied by a large helping of black beans, half of an avocado and sour cream. My friend ordered the burger "with all the fixins" that was cooked exactly the way he requested with a generous portion of fries, My other friend ordered the scrambled eggs and lox that was accompanied by friend potatoes. The serving was so large, she took half of it home. For dessert, we shared a scoop of caramel, balsamic gelato that included two crisp triangular butter cookies. The restaurant was quiet with other customers seated a comfortable distance between tables. Although it was the middle of lunch time, parking was easy. We really enjoyed everything about our lunch at Alley & Vine.

   Nestled just off Park Street in downtown Alameda off Redwood Square behind some vines is an updated restaurant worth visiting. From the cordial and good service on beautiful wood tables with splash of green chairs and modern art is great food worth trying. On our first visit to this town and establishment we enjoyed the best fish tacos with the tastiest batter and coleslaw and a perfectly cooked melt in your mouth king salmon on a bed of couscous, garlic spinach, root vegetables with lemon beurre blanc compound butter. Yum! The Guittard chocolate mousse and cherry gelato were a delightful ending to this delicious meal. They have updated the second floor for more people and private parties. Check it out. The Traveling Palette was impressed.

    Amazing food! The filet mignon and the biscuits were outstanding!! Service was good despite having the Valentines Day rush! Will definitely be back!
