    As we are Allen's veterans, it was especially wonderful this time. We were given a quiet patio table where it was cool and quiet. I had the BBQ'd salmon, which came with a wonderful and generous side salad. My wife had the butter chicken and we shared the polenta fries, which were crispy and delicious. We were too full for dessert. All are food and drinks were excellent, beautifully served. It was a special occasion and we're pleased we celebrated at Allen's. Thank you.

    Teo friends joined me for the 2nd of my birthday lunches. We each decided on Allen's fish & chips. We were also fortunate to get a pario table. Excellent service by Naoise.

    Allen’s is our favourite restaurant. The food is always outstanding, the staff is courteous, friendly and the wait staff is professional. If you are looking for top quality food in a comfortable, neighbourhood environment, this is the place for you.

    Came here with a friend hoping to relive what used to be a standout burger experience. Unfortunately, this place has clearly lost its edge. The burger—$20 without sides—was disappointingly small. They ask how you want it cooked, but both came out well done regardless. One of them was missing the cheese entirely. At that price point, you’d expect at least some attention to detail. We each ordered a Caesar, which turned out to be possibly the worst we’ve ever had: tiny glass, no garnish, no rim, not even a sad piece of celery—just a straw. Service was slow and largely absent throughout the visit. This used to be the kind of place you’d recommend for a solid burger. Not anymore. We won’t be back.
