   We had a great evening. My tuna steak was overcooked I wasn’t asked how I wanted my tuna steak and I forgot to asked for my preference.

   My friend and I enjoyed a lovely meal in a pleasant place. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and good value for money.

   Back patio, under the shade of a giant , beautiful willow tree, is a perfect spot for a summer lunch. Service is friendly and professional and I’ve had multiple dishes from their menu at different times and never been disappointed. A classic, straightforward but never boring Toronto restaurant.

   Beautiful patio, knowledgeable staff and awesome food! Love trying something new every time we come! Small but mighty wine selections and great beer on tap. Always a lovely date night!

   I had a pleasant experience overall at this restaurant. The service was timely and friendly, and I appreciated being given the option to sit either indoors or out on the back patio. I chose the patio for the atmosphere, but one downside was that tree buds occasionally fell onto our food and drinks — something to be aware of if you’re dining outside; you may need to cover your plates. As for the food, I ordered the lamb shank, which was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. However, I was a bit disappointed with the portion size, especially considering how good it was — I expected a bit more. Still, it’s a nice spot with a welcoming vibe, and I’d return, though probably opt for indoor seating next time.

    I've been coming to Allen's since 1988. It has been consistently excellent. Now I'm an old lady and me and my 93 year old friend have lunch there once a month. Always wonderful. Never ever had a bad meal
