   Alleia is one of my favorite dining places in town. It has a great atmospere, extremely informative staff and excellent service. You can definitely tell everyone working there is on the same page, and that page is making great food, happy customers and great memories. If you want a less expensive date, their pizzas are big enough to split and are inexpensive, not to mention absolutely delicious.

   Simply wonderful. I travel fairly frequently and eat out in Chattanooga several times a week. Alleia is my favorite restaurant here and generally outshines the trendy foodie places I visit in other locations. Briefly, the food is wonderful; the staff is extremely knowledgable; and the ambiance pleasant--wood, brick, candlelight. Alleia can be a bit pricey, but the entrees are large and my husband and I usually split one--which helps. Sadly, their $10 specialty cocktails tempt me beyond my ability to resist, so we never get away for less than $70. If you are visiting in town, I reccomend you take the opportunity to experience this great restaurant. You will probably want a reservation. (FYI We used to dress up a bit when we were going to Alleia, but the last time we were there many of the men had on shorts.)

   This is one of my favorite restaurants, especially for special occasions. It is on the pricier side but it is well worth it. We started with The Carpacio, and antipasto Alleia sampler, which are a must, we also tried the special, a salmon dish. We were there to catch up and the waiter was great. Alex knew we were in no hurry and did not hover for our dinner selection. He was very attentive to fill our wine glasses and quietly check in on us. The meal was spaced out nicely. The quail was excellent, the shrimp and pasta was the best I've had. The raviolis were enjoyed as well. The portions are good. I saved some for lunch the next day but that was so I could save room. Then we had to have cappuccinos, coffee and dessert. Panna Cotta with strawberry marmalade, terra misu, and flourless chocolate cake. Yum, yum, yum. We all commented the next day "what a great evening and dinner we had!" The wine selection is great but we have brought our own wine as well with no problems, Note: Costco sells $100 gift cards for $80.

   From having a drink at the bar and having the bartender make a special "one of a kind" drink for you after learning your likes, to being seated in a cozy booth and have the wait staff treat you like you were the only ones there, to the fabulous food selections.....It is never a disappointment when we dine here. From just a romantic evening with my husband or a dinner meeting, it is truly a wonderful place to spend an evening.

   We had heard of Alleia for years, but had never tried it. It was on our short list of choices for our celebration, and we made the right choice. Excellent celebration for our anniversary! Food was suburb.... Service outstanding! Will definitely return. We sat out by the windows, but will want to visit the bar area as well as the inside with the stunning candle-dripped art Thanks for a great evening.

    Very disappointed, unfortunately. We had high expectations based on reviews and recommendations. Here is why: we were visiting Chattanooga for our anniversary and wanTed a special "fancy" dining experience - with our kids. We wanted them to experience good service food and mocktails. Our waiter was pretty awful, that's why we were disappointed and can't give you a better review. We were seated in the front glass rooms at 715pm and my wife had a seat with the sun IN HER FACE. I had to ask to be moved to a table elsewhere. Oddly the waiter couldn't focus and only took 2 out of 4 drink orders. That was weird, then I had to remind him to bring my daughter's mocktail. Our waiter also needed to be reminded to refill our waters, and I had to ask my family to give him drink orders when he came for entree orders. Lastly, he didn't seem very knowledgeable of the menu. My daughter asked him how many duck wings were in an order - he said 7 or 8, she received 4. My wife's king salmon entree did not come with smoked corn, which she was excited about. My pork shoulder was absolutely wonderful. The service not par with the food. The valet service was wonderful, and the valet was super friendly and very complimentary to my daughters. Good guy to have in that role!
