Had a decent brunch. Some food (waffles) were served luke-warm, otherwise an OK experience. Nothing great, but nothing too bad.
My wife and I visited for date night. It was our third time dining at All Set. The food is consistent being very tasty. They had a great Smoked Brisket special with mashed potatoes and greens. Very good. Very good. Nice selections on the menu. The service is consistent. And by consistent I mean a little slow. But don’t let that stop you. The place is a great restaurant. If you can deal with that definitely give it a try. The staff is always friendly and nice. They are very accommodating. We always enjoy ourselves when we come here. It’s a nice neighborhood gem .
This is a great neighborhood restaurant. We had a lovely time; the cocktails were excellent and the food was delicious. The service left a little to be desired, though. For most of the meal the service was fine, but after delivering the check and credit cards being placed on top of said check, it should not take a server so long to come back for it that the table starts to wonder if they need to send out a search party. It must have taken 20 minutes for our check to be picked up, despite the fact that other wait staff passed out table a dozen times.
Great for families!
Th drag queen brunch that is held on the last Saturday of every month was such a fun experience with great food at such a deal!! Definitely will be bringing more of my friends back to the next one!
Allset’s First Drag Brunch was amazing!! I am so excited that is will be the last Saturday of each month moving forward!!!
Everything was amazing!!!!!!
Great place for lunch
Great drinks, food, and venue for birthday celebration.
A great meal every time!
Fun place for happy hour. There was a lot of positive energy in the restaurant. And happy hour was available at any table, not just the bar.
My absolute FAVORITE place!! Can’t wait to go back!
Service was excellent, but food was overpriced and not good enough to justify the cost. I had the chickpea fries and the crabcakes. Both were a bit bland and needed some zing. Cost almost 50 dollars with one non-alcoholic drink and tip. Way too much.
The meal was delicious. The service was good. My steak was cooked perfectly and the potato cakes are outstanding. The only issue were the mosquitoes that came inside the restaurant from the patio.
Portion sizes were different (larger) the first time I came after its opening. Now its a little pricey for the current portion size, but everything still tasted great.
We had a delicious lunch. I had the yellowfin tuna melt, very little mayo, tasty briche-type bread (I only ate one slice). My friend had the Caesar salad with jumbo shrimp. Attentive service. Comfortable outdoor dining.
The food was outstanding. If you don't venture to that area that often, you are missing out. Many people need to visit this location and witness it for themselves!
Tried this place for a anniversary dinner. Went in the middle of the week and was not very busy and was able to be seated quickly. Staff was very accommodating. Food and drinks were great. I normally prefer the server not coming by every 10 min or so to check on us but in this case it made our stay extra long when wanting to order dessert and even get the bill and our server wasn't around. Other than that a great place to dine.
Food was good as usual. The server was not
Good location decent menu, outdoor seating. Book the party of 3 on short notice. It wasn't very crowded probably because of the holiday weekend. All three of our entrees were good, service was good. Will come back again if wexre in the neighborhood.
I had a birthday dinner for my cousins. Everything tastes so good. I will definitely come back for more occasion.
Service was great, food was delicious, setting was quiet if not particularly pretty, and the prices were a tad steep. But, I will definitely return!
Good food; fast service; nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly.
We go to All Set a lot, and I had a yearning for fried chicken which is on their menu. But the chicken was overcooked. It seemed like it had microwaved. The gravy for the mashed potatoes was less than lukewarm. All in all, very disappointing.
The salmon and quinoa was prepared perfectly. Signature drinks were mixed with attention to proportion. I would definitely recommend this place.
The food is always great but the wait staff needs better training. They pick up plates while others are still eating. They reach across you to fill glasses. They are not particularly attentive. They just need someone to teach them proper service. We keep coming back for the food.
Great Restaurant Week Menu
Excellent Brunch Atmosphere! Enjoyed a great meal with friends with no service issues at all! 5/5 imo
The food was great. The biscuits were so salty and uneatable. But the sausage gravy was so good. The nutmeg muffins were warm and tasty. The Salmon Cake Benedict was delicious. The home fries could have been hotter. The cookie sandwich was excellent.
We have been trying to eat here for a while. Although we come to this restaurant occasionally it’s only for a cocktail. Even then we enjoy it. Our first time dining here was a hoot! My wife and I enjoyed it because it was about and hour or so towards the end of the evening and it was thinning out. So it wasn’t noisy or crowded. We did a lot of laughing. We did a lot of smiling and laughing with our waitress. We got sat at a nice booth and our waitress was cool. Very friendly. She made the evening more enjoyable. The food was better than expected. We will try it for brunch. I hear it lovely. Thanks
Great food and even better service. Food portions were a bit small for me but my date enjoyed it.
The raw oysters were from Maine and were excellent. However, the lobster roll was a lot of stringing lobster rather than lobster chucks and I didn't feel it was worth the price. If they had whole lobster, I would've ordered that but since the lobster roll was all they had, that's what I ended up with and it wasn't that great.
A group of friends went for restaurant week. This was our first time and it was great. The nest part has to be the free parking though. We had the Pice Fixe dinner, which was a great deal.
As part of Restaurant Week, we had the three-course meal. My tuna entree was gray rather than seared. Taste was okay but certainly nothing impressive and what I easily could have put together at home. We ate at an outside table inwhere a server dropped a desert onto the floor in front of a door. It was left there for 20 minutes while 10 people to include eight wait staff and the manager walked over it multiple times.
Enjoyed my time there. The staff were friendly and polite.
Great place. Very nice touch with the kids toys!
The location is convenient and parking is easy. We dined here for the start of restaurant week. The menu geared for restaurant week was not paired well and the portions were small. I plan to try them out again on a regular day
Had a nice first time experience. My one issue was the wait for food. It was a too long.
Visited for Restaurant Week and was disappointed to learn that the menu listed online did not match the one provided at the table. There were fewer and less varied options for brunch, which skewed very carb heavy. Perhaps the usual chef was off on Sunday, but service was slow and there were discrepancies between what we ordered and the ingredients listed on the menu. A disappointing experience from start to finish.
Food was cold, Manager was very dismissive and rushing me in explanation. Overall I would go back. I love locally restaurants and would love to give this restaurant a 2nd chance.
The food and drinks are great!!
Those chickpea fries are my favorite.
