   Friendly and attentive service. Requested medium-well meat and received medium-rare. My friend's dish was not tasty but a replacement plate came out quickly. Ambiance was decent, probably good for midday lunch.

   This is a good restaurant serving reliable food in an amazing location in DC. The outdoor seating this time of year is so nice, and their wait staff is on-point! They are the perfect mix of attentive & leaving their tables to enjoy the meal without constant interruptions. I definitely recommend for a casual, inexpensive dining experience.

    We do love the food here. Never a bad meal however the last few times the service was bad. Asking for a coffee or spoon or anything else just seemed delayed or forgotten. I hope they can work on this issue. Maybe it just hard to find good help. But if I’m paying $140 for lunch then the service has to be better.

    Kramers has transformed into a pleasant and interesting eatery since the days when it was mostly a bookstore with a little coffee shop. Now that dichotomy has flipped to where the restaurant side is probably keeping the venerable DC bookseller alive and well. The wait staff are super attentive and the kitchen produces tasty, quality food surprisingly quickly, even or a midday Monday lunch. While I feel that the menu could expand a bit more, there is something for everyone. All in all, a go-to eatery for me and many friends.

    Waitress was not familiar with items from the menue when asked and she was rushing us to leave. She was not even interested to ask cook and to find out the answer. I asked for printed receipt, she has never showed up. I mistakenly left her higher tip and that's why she probably did not show up with receipt. My friends' husband, as well as mine, worked at Kramers 27 years ago and we have good memories from that time. Last night was big disappointment.

    Love the connection of bookstore and restaurant! Service this evening was slow but very nice when they did connect. Food was good overall. Fries too spicy for some with no alternative (also, two of the servings were very much the scrapings rather than full fries). Champagne salad was overdressed and spicy. Did not try the desserts but they look like stars!

    Great location and nice outdoor seating with friendly wait staff. The breakfast food was mediocre at best. Omelets were overcooked and dry. Coffee was tepid, bitter and undrinkable.. the custom eggs over medium were good and the home fry potatoes were not very hot but tasted ok.

    Service was fine but salad (main dish) was so over dressed that it was totally soggy and unappetizing. Side dish of roasted carrots and avocado was not roasted but steamed and thus lacked flavor - also did not include sesame seeds and Pepitas as listed in menu. Overall disappointing.

    Sat outside under the tented area on a beautiful August DC Day. The food was yummy (I'm a sucker for Crab Benedict) and service was great. You are in eyesight of Dupont Circle and we were able to stay and chat together while drinking our coffee. Was a great location to walk to our massage appointment at Deluca Message shortly afterwards.

    The service was kind and helpful—my girlfriend and I felt distinctly safe here. Having the road blocked off for outdoor eating was fantastic, since there were no cars driving by but seeing the roundabout at the end of the road and the buildings and pedestrians around still made it feel like we were in the city. And the food was, as always, great.

    Great atmosphere and incredible brunch/lunch food. Had the all day burger and loved it! Staff brought out a birthday cookie for my wife as well which was a nice touch. Afterwards, shopped in the library which has an extensive collection of novels. Highly recommend.

    We always come to Kramers when visiting DC because we like the vibe and cocktails. The deviled eggs and chicken wings were good, however, the cheese steak sandwich was not. Lots of bitter peppers throughout making the whole sandwich very bitter tasting. Also, the BBQ seasoning is very sweet and made the fries taste like candy. Yuck! Finally, the main coarse came out and was squeezed onto the table even though the server saw we were still halfway through the appetizers. This visit was not memorable in a good way. Perhaps next time.

    All Day by Kramers is a great vibe for anyone that wants a brunch spot that is nice but on the more casual side. It gives off diner vibes, but it has some fancy menu items and a good drink menu. 10/10 would go back. Plus it's attached to a bookstore.

    Our server is not friendly at all we ask for cream for pur coffe she gave us individual creamer but next table to is jug of milk after she serve our food never came back and check hows our food or need anything and when deliver check with our bill options is 20 percent tip and shes rushing no time to custom my tip . She doesnt desrve to have 20 percent tip!!

    Any restaurant attached to a bookstore already has a leg up for me! But the food, ambiance and service stand very strongly on their own! Excellent portions of tasty, fresh, and fun dishes that are a great value. The deviled eggs and crispy Brussel sprouts appetizers were a highlight. We had a round of English 75 cocktails - a tasty twist on a classic. Finished it all off with delicious Goober (peanut butter) pie and cherry blossom cheesecake. The outdoor seating was a pleasant vibe in the early evening - with the music and sounds of nearby DuPont Circle adding a pleasant city soundtrack. Highly recommend and will be going back!

    Salmon was very good. My buddy had the Fettuccine New Orleans. We split a Kramers Goober Pie for dessert, which, like all Kramer's desserts, was excellent. We also split a bottle of the Muscadet, which was nice. However, it was intreating that it was the only white available by the bottle. Emily was a charming and very informative waitperson.

    Overpriced food that had zero flavor. Small portions with minimal ingredients. Took forever to be served and the service was awful. Pretentious atmosphere. Book store was overrated.
