Dining at the Alize was a beautiful experience. It was terribly expensive, but there are some things in life that you should experience at least once. This was worth every penny!

My wife and I have eaten at several "highly-rated" restaurants in Las Vegas. The "highly-rated," eponymous restaurants don't come close to the dining experience that we had. This was by far the best yet for us in Las Vegas. We had the 5-course tasting menu and the regular wine-pairings. We definitely will return.

A special gem in Las Vegas. Outstanding menu and wine list! Service is extremely professional. The food is reasonably priced -- wine is expensive, but selections are amazing. We had three courses from the regular menu along with 2 bottles of wine. Each bottle of wine was in the $250 range -- so about half of our bill was wine. The menu and wine list appeal to sophisticated palates and those seeking great food and wine pairings. The Sommelier was exceptional and assisted us in selecting wines that paired well with each person's food selections (4 people -- each with very differnt food choices).

We have never had a better dining experience!! My wife and I are seasoned foodies & have been to many nice restaurants, and this one is the best. Truly ABOVE "top-notch" service, food, wine, and drink. They made it a very special night for my wife's birthday, and it seemed like everyone in the restaurant knew it! We cannot recommend it highly enough. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back. ;-)

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had just about anywhere in the world. We did the 5-course tasting menu with sommelier picked wines. There is also a 7-course tasting menu, but really I found the 5-course to be plenty. The food was exquisite and the presentation enhanced each dish as a work of art. The view of the strip was stunning. Get there about 30 minutes before sunset and see Vegas transform before your eyes. The wine list was extensive but really expensive. Alize is a splurge anyway, but the best way to enjoy wine here is with the tasting menu. You'll get a good selection of 5 wines or so and spend $110 per person...on wine.

What can I say, I loved this restaurant...starting from sitting down to leaving. Yes, I would go back again. I would give the Food 5 stars, but...the appertizer prawns were a little dry.

seafood sampler platter was huge. service very efficient. dinner was relaxing yet kept moving at a good pace but didn't make you feel rushed to leave. best meal we enjoyed all week.

We enjoyed the chef's tasting menu. One member of our party order the vegetarian chef's tasting, which we were surprised to see on the menu - and she just loved it. Service was absolutely outstanding!

EVERYTHING was perfectly done. The restaurant itself is small and lovely, and the view breathtaking. The staff was attentive, but not overbearing. Wine reccomendation was perfect. The food was perfectly done and I loved the amuse, which was a cantelope soup with pancetta. Amazing. Topped off the night with a souffle.
This is an amazing restaurant to spend a night in Vegas. This is a restaurant for the true food lover. Do not plan to come here with little kids, or if price is an issue for you. Come here to relax, enjoy the view and savor the food and wine.

Alizé has a beautiful view. The food is nice. But the service is a bit "off." We were crowded out too much by the wait staff. They interfered with our meal and when we needed them, they were not there. A neighboring table was too loud.

My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and want to go to some place special. We definitely found it! Alize was perfect for that. 56 floors up and the view of the Vegas lights. Service was friendly and very good. The food was awesome. My steak was perfectly cooked and was very soft. The small things were not left out either (our menu had Happy Anniversay printed out, everyone greeted us with happy anniversary and the sweets at the end of the meal were a nice touch). Great place

Great location with an outstanding view over LV. Extraordinary food and wine list, very good service. Afterwards must go to ghostbar one floor down and drink something outside with an even better view over LV.

Did the 7 course chef tasting menu....first three courses were remarkable, but last four courses were forgettable. First courses included the foie gras, carpacio, and salmon. All outstanding. Unfortunately the last courses, venison, crispy char, cranberry panna cotta, and tiramusu were just not that impressive. Very ordinary preparation. All in all a beautiful setting and great service but not worth the money spent. Too many other great restaurants in Vegas.....wouldn't choose this one.

Unfortunately, Alize did not meet our expectations. The Beef Carpaccio, Pan Seared Foie Gras and Lobster Thermidor were all excellent. Our problem was with the service. Too many servers per table and they do not communicate with each other. The different servers kept coming to the table over and over and asking the same things. Even more disappointing was the drive to sell alcohol. I have never been asked about alcohol as much in any place I have ever been. This included the sommelier with the impressively expansive, yet ridiculously expensive (more wines over $1000 than under $100), but 300% mark-up, wine list. View is great but few window tables for parties of 4 or less. We had better experiences at Picasso and L'Atelier.

Alize was an amazing experience with a unique view that cannot be matched overlooking Las Vegas. My husband and I chose the tasting menu 7 courses (with small portions so we were not uncomfortable at the end of the meal). The menu included several unique dishes such as the fois gras, and venison done to perfection and extremely tender. Our server was knowledgable and friendly. Though we did not go for the sommelier version of the wine pairing, the pairings that were selected for us complemented the dishes. Wonderful place for a special occassion.

Outstanding across the board. My wife and I travel around the world, and we absolutely loved our dinner here. One of our all time favorites. The 7 course chef's tasting, along with the Sommelier wine pairings was fabulous. I know what you're thinking $600 for dinner. It's worth it to experience the absolute decadence provided. Even snobs could not complain about this place. To top off dinner, we had a sniffer of my favorite cognac Hennessy Paradis. A must try for those seeking true perfection. Not an everyday event unless your Bill Gates. However, it's worth it once a year to enjoy.

I choose Alize for my boyfriend's birthday celebration. I have to say that based on the reviews I had read I was a little disappointed in the service. Starting with our greeting from the hostess there was a pretentious overtone. The view was amazing, but we were sat in a corner table that seemed almost an afterthought....we could have held hands with the six top next to us. We had three people attending our table....the two assistants were very good while our head waiter was inattentive and void of personality. The appetizers and Lobster Thermidor were incredible, but the filet was over cooked and nothing special. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, just not everything you would expect for the money spent.

We found the food and service to be mediocre at best. I expected great French sauces and received ones that were simple and not that favorful. I ordered Venison and it was overcooked. The souffles were ordered were dull in appearance and favor. The table for the 4 of us was too small to adequately fit all the dishes and glasses. The wines were overpriced. They also charged us a $50 corkage fee which seemed extravegant. The server spent little time with us and was not helpful. We will neither return nor recommend.

The view is spectacular, and the wine list impressive, including wines and after dinner drinks from the 18th and 19th centuries, some offered in tiny (.5 oz.) portions, so that, with a splurge, any one can try them. The service is excellent and accommodating, from the waitstaff to the sommelier. The vegetarian prix fixe was tasty and inventive. However, our dinner had serious flaws. The house specialty Dover Sole was overdone and contained not a few bones. Also, the gruyere cheese used to top the French Onion soup has an incredibly strong, unpleasant smell that pervades the dining room. Before we identified the source of the smell, it was so overpowering, we almost left. It subsided after a while, but what an unfortunate first impression!

Lisa and I had a very romantic Valentine's day dinner. It was a fixed menu so we did not get a chance to see the full menu they offer. Everything was well prepared and delicious, although the veal loin presentation was not inspired. They did offer a wine flight option with a a wine paring with each of the course choices. This added a nice touch to a fabulous evening. I recommend this for that special night out.

Selected the main menu. Foie gras terrine was amazing as an appetizer, paired with a French Sauternes -- excellent recommendation from the sommelier! also Pork Belly appetizer was something to write home about; paired with a pinot noir. Entree -- muscovoy Duck Breast with the huckleberry sauce was a wonderful match, the duck was perfectly cooked and sauce paired nicely with the rich duck breast -- not too sweet, nicely matched. for dinner, tried the Gran Mariner souffle, very rich. I would try the Lemon Beignets when we go back...

A wonderful treat spot, expensive and for a once in a while splurge was just what we wanted. Service was very attentive, not always as well-coordinated as it could have been, but no complaints!

I had had great word of mouth recommendations on Alize so I was somewhat concerned that my expectations were set too high but Alize did not disappoint! Seared foie gras and lobster salad on a bed of celery root salad as starter were both excellent and the Dover Sole was absolute perfection. The waiter steered us towards the right champagne (less expensive than our original choice) to start which was very much appreciated. Still, when the bill arrives, take a deep breath as prices are as high as the expectations!

This is the perfect spot to enjoy a romantic and exquisite French dinner accompanied by the right wine. The view is magnificent, the service superb, and the food MAGNIFIQUE! Do not miss this place while in Vegas. Bring money, but you will not be disappointed.

Not better than fair. It is true thet the view is nice but the food is noy up to par. Good service though. We spent a nice vening at the Alizé, because of the view and service, not the food. If you are looking for good french cuisine, go elsewhere.

Wonderful for a special celebration. Tasting menu was creative and you could bounce between the meat and vegetarian options. Wine pairings were perfect.
