Overall the meal and evening were superb our only criticism would be we waited 50 mins before getting any food and then the courses were rushed on us with no gap in between courses for us to enjoy and digest out food so by the third course we were full and then did not enjoy our final courses which we ended up leaving. Really quite disappointing for such a special occasion. People who had arrived before us were only getting their fourth course after midnight and we had been served our fifth course before midnight.
great food, great service, perfect nye dinner
The only disappointment was being too full to truly enjoy the final courses of the tasting menu! And my husband was not thrilled with the wine pairings, but I enjoyed them. The seared fois gras was off-the-charts delicious. The service and view were spectacular.
Great atmosphere great service well worth the expense.
It was close to the New Year and since our daughter and son-in-law were spending the winter holidays with us in Las Vegas, we decided to splurge and made reservations at the Alize. If one is not familiar with The Palms, they might find a little difficulty in locating the elevators to Alize. Nonetheless, once we were there, we were directed to a table near the window. We had a view of the strip and at night, it was very beautiful. As expected the food was expensive but was of good quality, and we had a lovely time. I don't expect us returning anytime soon unless we hit the Megabucks.
It was their last day but we didn't know they were closing. Very sad.
This was our second time dining at Alize. Just a terrific meal all the way around. Wonderfully prepared and presented.
We celebrated our anniversary, and the ambience was wonderful. made us feel special with a card for us waiting at the table and a gold key to unlock thw Alize treasure chest for a special anniversary surprise. Food is good, even if the menu is not the most creative. the dessert souffle is excellent.
The Spanish waiter he was super rude. I wanted order course menu which cost $155
The course come with 5 dishes, each plate have 3choices. I wanna take a roasted duck for my main dish but I was not sure other plate because too much choices, so I asked the waiter what side or a la carte is good for my main dish? And he said pointing on the menu “read this”
It said, pick one for each.
Then I tell him yes I new it. What do you recommend?
And then he said I recommend you single duck roast for you.
I guess he doesn’t want to surve us.
Food : poor. You can get same plate in Denny’s seriously. Nothing new, way over priced meals. We order a glass of champagne which cost $35per glass was not even fresh. And NO SPERCLE AT ALL.
Over all: avoid this place, we got serious sick after all. If you looking for a place to eat with nice view. The Top of the World is highly recommended.
I often shy away from high-priced restaurants in the casinos since they're mostly
tailored to gouge tourists or convention goers, but Alize exceeded my expectations.
Yes it's not cheap, but the quality of the food was exceptional, and they didn't try to
rush us through our meal to flip the table. The house wine was way above average,
and the view is spectacular.
From serving martinis with a flourish to the delectable grilled Spanish octopus to the sumptuous Dover Sole and rack of lamb entrees to the Grand Marnier souffle and Baked Alaska, our dining experience was excellent!
Get there now as they are closing on December 31st.
We have enjoyed dining at Alize since 2001 and never had a bad meal. We have introduced many of our visiting friends to the fine dining, excellent service, and beautiful views available there.
We will truly miss it.
Excellent service. One of our family member is gluten free. They made special dinner rolls for her. Enjoyed our evening. Amazing view.
Try to convince Stations to keep this one. Although it is pricey, I haven't had a meal like it in a long time, including some of the best strip restaurants. A real treat for those who save their amenity points which most casinos, especially local ones, don't usually have. Nothing at Red Rock even comes close to the level of this one.
The food tasting was not worth the money spent but the staff and place was wonderful. Very romantic atmosphere and the staff was very attentive. The food was not tasty however. We barely ate any of the courses.
Last time dining at one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas, the Alize. Great location and view, fabulous menu and food, superb staff. Too bad they are closing in two weeks
One of the best gourmet restaurants in Las Vegas and a top 3 view on top of that. Such a shame it is closing. Get a table by Dec 31. A great 17 year run comes to a close.... Two bottles for the price of one fine wine is reason enough.
Alize is closing for good on December 31st. It is too bad because you can actually carry on a conversation here!
Great view and lovely presentation of food and drinks. The only reason I didn’t give the max stars was my steak was over cooked but did have wonderful flavor. At these prices just should be cooked as ordered. I understand they are closing soon. Hopefully the space will be used for another great restaurant
Outstanding service in addition to terrific food. Best meal in Vegas in 10 years.
My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary. We both agreed, hands-down, the best fiber we've ever had. We did the taste menu, 100% recommend. The staff was cordial and professional.
Dinner was delightful! The wine list is extensive and the wait staff were very helpful with menu selection and wine pairing. All three courses were perfectly prepared. We started with the beet salad. It was very pretty on the plate and the goat cheese was delicious. The spinach salad with the duck confit was equally as good. A generous salad with excellent dressing. Our main course was rack of lamb. The lamb was cooked perfectly -was tender and flavorful. Just the right amount of food. We finished up with dessert consisting of a soufflé. It too was cooked perfectly. It was light and creamy with the cream sauce. Overall it was a great evening. Wouldn’t change a thing.
Outstanding restaurant with views of Las Vegas to die for.
Excellent service, incredible food - a real experience out of the ordinary. Beautifully prepared & executed flawlessly
One of the most amazing dinners I've ever had. Highly recommended!
Alize has an incredible view overlooking the back of the strip and we had great, attentive, service, but from a food quality perspective was very mediocre. My partner and I both had the 9-course tasting menu with different dishes (18 dishes in total), and only 3 of the 18 were what we would consider "above average" with 2 of the dishes being awful.
The food was not bad, per se, and perhaps we had high expectations, but in terms of value for money we were both disappointed. The wine pairing was delicious with some adventurous pairings for some dishes, but I felt they skimped on serving size for the price, as each glass was only about 30 ml.
Overall, my feeling is that a restaurant should focus on the food, and not rely on the view or ambiance to attract customers. This was not the case for Alize, which is unfortunate, and consequently I don't recommend this as a restaurant.
The food is fabulous wonderful service- best view in Vegas.
Very good food & great view..! 👏🏻😂. Great place a friendly get together, birthday, holiday etc..
We live in LVNV now and intend to
return to the Alize whenever possible..
Excellent service, very nice people and beautiful sight. Food is perfect with the taste of excellence. Thank you 😊
Outstanding in all respects !! Great view, fantastic Thanksgiving menu & food, impeccable service. World Class experience !
A lesser-known but superb Las Vegas restaurant. It is with great sadness that they will close at the end of year (December 31, 2017). If you can make it before, you definitely SHOULD go there before they are gone.
The Food is excellen and the service is top notch, truly best European level. The view toward the Strip is beautiful. One more thing: IF you like rhum, go there. They have the widest selection of rhum I have ever seen (not only in the USA but anywhere in the world). Go there before they close!
Simply amazing, however, they lost their lease at the Palms Casino and will be leaving after New Years. So if you want to go, you best not wait.
We went on a Sunday at 5:30 and we actually booked on the drive into Las Vegas on OpenTable with no problems. From the minute we arrived until our departure, we were doted on. Before we got our salads the chef sent out a couple of samples to taste. They were unexpected, complimentary and delicious. For the meal my husband had the best Filet Mignon he has ever eaten and I had Pan Seared Duck Breast. Such wonderful flavors and cooked perfectly! It is definitely upscale dining with prices to match but you won't be disappointed with your experience. The views are 56 floors above Las Vegas and they are just stunning. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house.
Fantastic view and ambiance. Excellent service. The food was fine, not spectacular.
The food, service and view were outstanding! A little on the pricey side, but overall it was good.
I made a small suggestion to the waiter and he instantly made me feel like he knew significantly more than I do. He began telling me how many years the chef has done this for, meanwhile it wasn’t even the chef that prepared our meal.
He doesn’t know anything about me and unfortunately it ruined our anniversary dinner.
Thanks for the meal and for pushing me to try every other restaurant in Vegas before I ever go back.
Alize is truly world class - both it’s cuisine and it’s service. I’ve never dined with so much pleasure. And the view is absolutely the best in Vegas.
As usual the food at Alize was spectacular. We had the lobster thermidor and Dover sole. They were both well prepared and large in quantity. The waiter advised us to order a soufflé in advance to avoid the 25 minute wait after dinner. One soufflé was ordered in the group of 3. Our dinner plates were removed and the soufflé was plunked down on the table immediately. We waited 15 minutes and finally waved down the busboy and informed him that the other diners needed a dessert menu. By that time the soufflé was no longer warm. No after dinner drinks were offered. In defense of the restaurant they did remove one dessert from the bill because the waiter “understood” there was a problem with dessert. Unfortunately this was our second bad experience with service at this restaurant. We will not return no matter how good the food is.
This place is was fantastic. They where aware it was our anniversary and made it exceptionally special was a gift. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. We enjoyed the tasting menu plus wine tasting. Every thing was passed out with enough time to appreciate the meal and conversation. Thank you very much
The Alize have for customers for ever when we come to Las Vegas.
What a view! Delicious French cuisine! Wonderful service! I went to Alize to celebrate my birthday. I requested a table near the windows and I was so impressed with the view of the entire Strip and surrounding areas of Las Vegas - just stunning. I ordered a speciality cocktail of the restaurant and it was sublime. The menu we chose was a tasting menu and every bite was amazingly delicious. Alize acknowledged by birthday by presenting me with a key at the beginning of the meal to be used at the end of the evening. I was then presented with a treasure box and discovered a beautiful and delicious chocolate dessert. It is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas on every level - view, food, service, and atmosphere. I can't wait to go back when I'm in Las Vegas again. Thank you for making my birthday evening so special.
We recently celebrated my husband's birthday with the tasting menu at Alizé. The food, wine, service, view and ambience were wonderful! Fortunately for us, they had a special offereing of pasta with white truffles the night that we were there. It was phenomenal! They finished the evening with a birthday surprise for my husband (spoiler alert!!! It was delicious!). We will definitely be spreading the word!
