Would like to start with the pluses that this is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Venice, with lovely decor, lighting, and ambiance. The patio setting is 10/10. Also, the food was really great and if the other issues were worked out, we would come back. Our waiter was a lovely guy and very sweet, and even insisted on a dessert and birthday serenade when he found out we were a birthday table. However... it took forever to get drink and food orders in. My 2nd glass of wine was the wrong wine completely, and we were still charged for it. My boyfriend ordered a beer, and 30 minutes later, he still didn't have it. From a bottle. We would have flagged down someone earlier, but no one came by. When our entrees arrived which we were sharing family style, we had to flag someone down and ask for plates. We also asked for a pitcher of water to keep at the table which never materialized. And our table was dark and we had to request a lamp (they were on all of the other tables). After paying the bill we REALLY needed to leave to get home, but we had requested a to-go box that also never materialized. My brother finally walked into the restaurant to find one. Our guess is that due to outside circumstances, the restaurant was short staffed. Or there are other infrastructure issues. However, after spending $340 on a meal after tip, the issues we experienced didn't stack up against the cost, especially for delicious but fairly basic food.. For $340 it should have been FLAWLESS.

Food was out of this world delicious, outstanding service and the ambiance makes you feel like you’re on holiday on a Greek island. If they ever decide to add a lunch service, I’ll be so happy.

It was our 24th anniversary. They knew that when we arrived. We arrived on time. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table. We ordered a bottle of wine to be brought to the table. It never was so we had to tell the waiter to please get it for us. The food was mediocre. Greek food is typically known for simple ingredients that are fresh, great olive oil and oregano etc. Our food was needlessly saucy like the lamb skewers for example. At the end of the meal they said that they were giving us a dessert for our anniversary. We waited 15 minutes and decided to leave. As we were walking out, they gave it to us in a to go box. It was a slice of cheesecake. It was delicious, but no idea why it never came to our table and why it would take more than five minutes.

If you like being nickel and dimed for a small amount of ok food - then this place is for you! First off, the hostess sits you down and lets you know you have a 1.5 time limit - like a test! Then, your waitress offers you bottled sparkling or still - so you say still… and then brings over a $9 bottled water that she cracks open before you have a chance to realize that tap was an option. Then you order a $11 dip but realize it doesn’t come with anything to dip in so you have to order 1 piece of a palm-sized flatbread for $8… why not just make it a $19 dip and flatbread!?! Then it’s $21 for 2 rubbery chicken skewers.. followed by a 4.7% service fee (not the usual 3). So if you like a pretty restaurant, with mediocre food, for a lot of $.. come on down!

Food is good but nothing out of the ordinary. On the other hand you pay out of the ordinary. $120/pp is insane (without alcool). Each flatbread (more a pita if you ask me) is $8 pp without taxes and tips plus they add a 4.7% (!) service charge on the whole bill. I know rent is crazy it’s abbott kinney etc but I don’t think you can justify those prices.

Last meal in LA so the 5 o’clock seating had the patio reserved for myself and it couldn’t have been better. The spicy feta and the branzino were incredible, service didn’t miss and patio is gorgeous. Great vibes from the two waiters. 9/10
