Good food, highly priced, lovely cocktails. Our server was very knowledgeable about the specials and the menu but our service was rushed. That made for a rushed, rather than relaxing meal.
From being greeted upon arrival to being sat at the table everyone is smiling and friendly. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and did a great job! The food of course is exceptional, appetizers consisted of the stuffed peppers, escargot, and crab cakes!! Entrees we chose were the 45day aged ribeye, broccolini, and mash and I had the triple tail with broccolini with mash. I highly recommend Alice’s and can’t wait to return.
This night my wife and I were celebrating her birthday early due to me deploying later this month. As always the service was great, atmosphere was pleasant, and the food never disappoints! The hostess took time before we left to show us the wine bar side of the restaurant which had a great atmosphere as well. Next time we dine there we’ll try the wine bar side which I’m sure will be a great time as well. Will 100% recommend this to anyone who hasn’t been here and looking for a different dining experience.
Everything was wonderful. Everyone should experience this gem.
Service was very good. Ambience was poor and value was poor due to the fact of it being a $32-$51 per plate restaurant and having to eat in what feels like a cubicle in a call center. They did their best to make it feel fancy with the lighting and table cloths but it’s hard to hide the overall lack of elegance to the buildings interior. Food was “good” at best. The table side Cesar salad was the best part of our whole meal. The entrees, were lamb lollipops and the veal Oscar.
The lamb lollipops were the largest I’ve ever seen BUT they were nothing but fat. So much so that my wife and I both had to spit out large pieces we just couldn’t swallow.
Regardless of the ambiance. Our service was very good. His tone during the entire meal was what made it feel more fancy than anything else. I don’t remember his name but he did a great job of keeping our drinks filled, our table cleaned off, and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
Awesome!!! Will dine there again!
Everyone at the restaurant went above and beyond to make our dining experience outstanding.
Outstanding experience from start to finish. Our server Larry did a phenomenal job.
Food and service exceeded expectations
It was a delicious meal, starting out with a Caesar salad made from scratch at the table. All of our entrees were cooked to perfection. The bread pudding was served hot and was so tasty!
Absolute best food in Pensacola!!! We only go on special occasions but we have always enjoyed the experience and the food is unbelievable
Creative menu. Great presentation. Delicious. Shortrids were awesome . Our server Larry very knowledgeable and attentive.
Delicious food and great service!
We were in the wine bar on music night which is awesome but it does get loud! Dinner was delicious as always. Bloody Mary Bake oysters, Caesar salad and the sea bass…perfect!
Truly enjoyed our meal. They appear to be a bit short-staffed, but so many places are nowadays. Would have preferred they did not take so long to collect our payment (check delivery to pickup was nearly 20 minutes). However, our waiter was delightful, and the food was very good. We will be back.
Great meal with the family. Service was spot on, good wine list, and chef specials made the evening one to remember. This will be a new "regular spot".
Excellent food and service. Dressed up for a special night and seated in the bar room?
Excellent experience. Absolutely delicious food and service!
The food was spectacular! They ran out of two of the three specials, but didn’t know that until after we ordered
Food was good. Atmosphere was lacking. My Greek salad was swimming in dressing.
Best steak I’ve ever had.
We have eaten here several times in the last year. This is now my favorite restaurant in Pensacola. Wonderful food. All appetizers, soups, table prepared Ceasar salad, steaks, fish, salmon, duck, lamb are excellent. Good specials as well. Very good wine selection reasonably priced. The service is very good, and they know the menu well. A real plus is good parking for all. That is now a real problem downtown
Food, cocktails, wine and service were outstanding! Nick was a fabulous waiter for the evening!
We’ve been to Alice’s several times, and the service has been excellent and the food very good. The seafood is always fresh and highly recommended.
It was a pleasurable visit from start to finish.
Food was superb, service excellence.
Service and food were excellent
I ordered the lobster ravioli. Food was delicious and have lots of flavor. It was a decent size and just the right portion. For the price they could’ve add a side of salad with the meal. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. I highly recommend.
IMO a must have is the table side Caesar salad. It’s delicious! I also highly recommend the Apple Pecan Smoked Duck. It was tender and flavorful. My wife had the Fresh Catch of the Day, a delicious triple-tail fish. Larry, our waiter, was spot on with his wine recommendation. We even had a guest( Joe Patty) stick his head in the dining room to ask if the seafood was up to standard. It definitely was! Don’t forget to save room for dessert. It was truly a wonderful dining experience.
Alice’s was absolutely delicious! We opted for the Wine Bar experience which included a live saxophone player (which is why I rated the noise level as moderate) but he was great! The Fine Dining side was nice & quiet though if you’re looking for a more conversational space. The food was so good! We had the scallops & mushroom risotto special as our appetizer—holy moly. For entrees we got the wagyu/wild boar bolognese, the grouper with whipped potatoes & seasonal veggie, the Chilean sea bass with tomato jam risotto, and the short ribs—they were literally all so flavorful and wonderfully executed. We couldn’t choose, so we did the dessert platter and from our most favorite to least was the bread pudding, the s’mores creme brûlée, the chocolate cake & the bananas fosters panna cotta. We will definitely be going back to try out the pizza! Ps the wine list was huge & our server was very knowledgeable and attentive
Great food and service - we will make this a regular restaurant we visit
The food was excellent. Very fresh, well prepared and nicely presented.
Outstanding was the bread pudding.
I went to head the music- Joe is a local legend. The noise level still allowed for conversation and the chairs were very comfortable.
Food was amazing, and our server Larry was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great Food, Great Service!
Fun Comfortable Atmosphere.
Will Definitely Return!!
The food is good, but it’s very pricey and not filling at all. I usually never finish my meal but I was still hungry after finishing the lamb lollipops. The waiter took a long time to take our order.
My wife and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary and wanted a special place to celebrate. The staff was courteous and friendly. . The menu had plenty of variety. Great ambiance.
Food was awesome and Marriah our server was spectacular! Definitely be back!!
This was the absolute best meal we had in the area. Our waiter, David, was awesome. We took his recommendation of the stuffed shrimp appetizer and were not disappointed. They were exceptional. For our entrees, we ordered the grouper and the duck, both were amazing. We also ordered the panna cotta for dessert. It was great as well. We look forward to coming back to Alice's the next time we are in town.
Booked through opentable and noted in reservation & on phone confirmation that it was my mother’s birthday. Nobody at restaurant acknowledged her birthday at all. Greeters seemed to be fighting with each other when we walked in, which was really awkward. Nobody came to greet us at our table for about 15 minutes, which was also awkward. No mention of the birthday even after ordering 2 desserts and informing the waitress (for the third time) that it was my mom’s birthday. Overall, wouldn’t go back for $350.
Great food, and wonderful server, David. Will definitely go again
The Chef and staff were outstanding!
Good was amazing
