The service was wonderful and the food was phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Lovely place with a nice funky ambiance. This is the perfect place to gather with friends and enjoy good food and great vibes!
Good food and atmosphere, but this restaurant is tiny and popular. They book reservations close together and try to hurry you through your meal. We were brought our check before we were even asked about additional drinks or dessert. I probably won't be going back.
Great cuisine, very creative menu. We liked the ‘table served’ entrees and the servers were courteous.
I really love the food at Alice. However, we had a 9p reservation, watched multiple two-tops being seated before us, and when I checked on our table at 9:40p we were told “oops” the hostess messed up. The manager tried to make it better by covering 50% of our bill, but I will definitely think twice about going there again.
Four new customers. Three birthdays celebrated. Lively crowd. Seriously almost to the point of not being able to hear across the table.
Down side: on my reservation I mentioned one of my guests was 6 foot 9 inches tall and preferred a table not in the center of the room ...unfortunately that’s where we sat. 😕
Incredible! We absolutely loved it and the atmosphere. Too cute
We love this place!!! We are retired people and while it is a trendy “younger” crowd....we feel right at home at Alice. The selections are many and varied and each one perfect! Would recommend to everyone!
Great food and drink menu. The service there was top notch. The steamed buns and pork ribs were exquisite!
I love this place, def one of my faves for sure, feels like you are in New York super cool and hip place and omg the food is to die for! Everyone is super friendly and nice the only downside to this place even if you have reservations you can wait up to 45min before being seated but they always take great care of you, either a free appetizer or dessert. Highly recommend this place!!!
Great food ambiance. The sushi is excellent as is the salmon. Maria always takes great care of us!
Alice is amazing! The options they have are top notch and the quality is worth every penny. We came here for a friend’s 30th birthday and got several things to share and it was delicious! The service was also top level as our drinks were never half empty. Highly recommend the dragon roll and dumplings!
Zach the bartender was INCREDIBLE!!! We will be back!!!
First time in and will definitely come back
Lovely experience as always! Attentive staff, food is delicious and timely, and atmosphere is perfect.
Alice is awesome!! Will definitely go back.
I love this little neighborhood find. I’ve been coming since they opened. As well as when it was Joyce & Gigi’s! It’s a great eclectic Dallas find. Shareable Asian Fusion with typical “East side” servers, which was tolerable because of it being so eclectic/tasty. Oh and the 89’s music! Then they up’d their game with a great hostess. A couple of visits later still eclectic, tasty food, mediocre server’s, great hostess, and now a great addition... a very personable floor manager. I will say all better in the front dining room, vs the forgotten back dining rooming. More recently they lost the great hostess, and floor manger who tidied up the whole experience. Now a young flippant hostess, and an unruly cargo pant wearing “manager”. The last two visits with its current front of the house has made it loose its charm. Our last reservation the 3 of us were sat at was very obvious a 2 top, as there were 2 people sitting at a table the same size. We were in a very flippant way that it was 3 top. All the while a 4 top sat 2 people next to us. After we casually mentioned it again the server turned on us... which made the tolerable device not so much. The manger does “try” to remedy our very awkward dining experience, but in a very insincere manner. Thank God the food was good, and the company was awesome. I hope Alice will work out their challenges. There are plenty of mediocre restaurants that come in go Dallas.
Staff was amazing and so was the food!
I really wanted to love Alice. We went on a Sat night. Music was so loud that my friend and I had to lean over across the table (moving plates, etc) to hear each other. We asked if anything could be done about it... we got a shrug, were told that it’s loud and would get louder when the DJ shows up. Brussels were awesome. Yellowtail sashimi was good, yet all 3 items recommended by our waitress were less than stellar. The shrimp fried rice was flavorless, as was the Alice roll. The meat in the dumplings had a very odd flavor, so we left most uneaten (my friend ate the ‘wrappers’ and left the meat filling in her plate). There was no soy sauce or other condiments, and no one came by to ask if we needed any. After looking forward to Alice for months, I’m sad to report that there’s way better food in Dallas so there’s no reason to add this to your list. In fact, we even left to get dessert elsewhere. It just wasn’t worth the risk.
Service was rough. Noodles were cold. Sushi was warm/inedible. Rice poorly cooked and undercooked. Third time visiting and worst of all. Will not be back.
Wow! What a great vibe! From the location to the hostess to the service, 80’s music and food. I would consider it upscale and trendy casual. Pretty much anything goes, dress wise. We had the tuna tower, the amazing Brussels, duck friend rice, dumplings (my least favorite actually) to the coconut & strawberry 🍓 parfait dessert! All sharables. I high recommend. I suggest reservations - though it wasn’t too packed at 7:00 on a Thursday night in January. I didn’t have a cocktail this time but I hear they are out of this world!
Super cute place, we were running late to our reservation due to weather condition but they were quick to accommodate us. Definitely will be back!
Whilst our waitress was very nice and the food a reasonable standard, there was nothing special about our experience at Alice this time. We were seated in the back room that is usually reserved for large parties and lacked the atmosphere on the front of house dining room.
Great food, atmosphere!
Always the best!
Must haves would be brussel sprouts, dumplings, the yellowtail shashimi, and fried rice all wilst jamming to my fave 80’s tunes in the purple corner booth.
Not somewhere you would want to go on a date to because the music is loud, but overall the staff was very friendly and helpful, food was delicious, great place to pregame
everything was pretty perfect; the food, service, atmosphere
Alice always delivers. Great service, killer ambience and better food. What more can you ask for?
Alice was fantastic! I went in for Solo Dinner and hit right on spot. It’s very warm and cozy inside and bartender Zach was great! You’ve got to try Shu Mai Dumplings. Overall, great dinning.
Great food and great ambiance. However, was very disappointed in the service. No one made any mention of our anniversary (specifically noted in reservation notes), asked to switch tables because we couldn’t hear each other and was denied, and waitress seemed uninterested/disengaged.
The food was excellent and the DJ kept the atmosphere lively and nostalgic with everybody's favorite throwback tunes - including the table to our right that serenaded the entire restaurant all night. We were very disappointed by the service. It felt rushed, insincere and lacked attention to detail. Food was dropped at the table with no more than a grunt as they dashed away to another table.
Blast. Food, music, service top notch!
One of my favorite places
We love Alice. Do want to point out the dumplings were nearly frozen. You all apologized and brought us another order but I feel like a round of drinks or the dumplings should have been comped.
Great food. Great service. Great music.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable first visit to Alice after it was recommended by friends. We found the food and beverages to be unique, well-executed, and tasty. Our only hiccup was a problem that they were having with reservations. We were seated about 30-45 minutes after our reservation time. The owner/manager gave us a free appetizer due to the delay, which was a gesture that we very much appreciated. The music level was quite loud, but fortunately it was a lot of 70s/80s stuff that I love. Overall, the restaurant had a great, vital energy to it during our visit. I would go again.
First time eating at Alice and the foood was amazing!! I’m from Florida so I know good sushi and this is some of the best I’ve had in Dallas! Our server was great only complaint about the night is we waited super long for our reservation and no one really did anything to make it better but other than that it was fantastic!
The food was great! Everything we had was fantastic. We did have to wait too long for our table (even though we had reservations) so we ended up eating at the bar. The manager apologized and sent a few appetizers out for us. That was nice, but we realized they ended up on our bill. That was disappointing.
Very good food, ambience, and service
