   Lovely setting with all diners able to view the lake beside the restaurant. Decor modern, artistically pleasing. Our server, Michaela, was very knowledgeable, gracious, yet very efficient. Her descriptions of offerings proved spot on accurate. Food was beautifully presented and even better tasting. Seafood chowder had an amazing amount of stock in a delicious broth. Both entrees my partner and I ordered were over the top in quantity as well as tasty. This was our first visit in a couple of years; now under new ownership who have at least matched their predecessors, and also opened up the bar area beautifully. We'll be back much sooner this time!

   Very nice evening. Service was great. Chicken pesto was overcooked. Ribs came right off the bone. Desserts were very good

   The clams casino was delicious. They were tiny but still very good. I got the Veal Milanese and my husband got the chicken pesto. They were both really good but the food could been hotter. Mine had too much mashed potatoes and not enough veal. I ended up getting tiramisu to go and it was horrible. It tasted like sugar alcohol. Not the typical tiramisu I am used to I guess. Overall we had a good time. I like the fact we can make a reservation and their drinks are really good. A little pricy for a martini but still good. 3 drinks, one appetizer, 2 dinners and dessert to go was $136. I think that’s a good price! I will go back again.

   Made reservations for my wife's birthday and asked for a table with a lake view. We arrived early and they put us at the perfect table with a beautiful view. Out server was friendly and attentive. The food was unbelievable. We could have eaten it all there but wanted to savesome for later. We enjoyed a creme Brule on the house with a candle and a "happy birthday " written in chocolate. This place is the hidden gem of Mendon. They were the perfect cap to a day of surprises for my wife and really made me her hero. Thank you for a wonderful evening. My wife would be upset that I am leaving such a glowing review because she wants to keep the place all to herself, she loves it so much.

   The food was fantastic. The service was great. But I miss the WHITE TABLE CLOTHS!!! You’re paying top dollar for food I expect to eat in style. I felt like I was in a pub. Totally changed the dining experience. Bring back the white tablecloths!!

    The new owners have been renovating Alicante. They took out the coat closet and opened up the foyers so you can see the bar area. I like the opening of the foyer, but I miss the coat closet. They replaced the windows but it still was cold in the dining room. Dinner was good but not OMG like it used to be. We had two waiters who went missing at times. Only two stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer, so save your rolls to dip into the sauce. We asked for the pear salad to be split between the two of us. Our portions were large, but I expected more pear in my salad. I do not think there was a half of a pear between our two bowls. The veal and swordfish were good and large. The tiramisu and the chocolate brownie Sunday were very good. It was a nice evening, better than the last time we were there, but we were hoping for OMG and we didn't get it.
