   Very nice restaurant, lacked the Greek feel however still really enjoyed the food. Although maybe a bit more choice on menu would of been good. I think the restaurant could do with some Greek pictures on walls make it feel more Greek

   Delicious food, only criticism was that the moussaka was too hot! Best served warm. Lovely staff and fantastic food.

   Meze 23 pounds 2pieces of holumi some olives pitta bread tsiki falafel small sausage not much for the price . Chicken kebabs 2 lengths of chicken with Greek salad ?very dry not enough sauces , Greek salad expecting large beef tomatoes Cucumber olives red onions chunks of feta covered in white wine vinegar and olive oil and oregano.but got lettuce few wedges of tomatoes and a sliver of feta couple if olives

   The second time we have had dinner at Alexiou's . Both times wonderful food , service and ambiance . A gem in the Cotswolds .

   We were given advice on the Greek wines offered from a lovely lady running the front of house. Her knowledge and suggestions were spot on. The food was superb and delicious. We will definitely return when we are back in the Cotswolds.

   Alexiou’s strength lies in its fantastic staff, and inviting interiors. We were warmly welcomed and then looked after very well by Cleo, who talked us through the wine options in addition to helping explain the menu. The food was good, but little touches such as having eg some Greek olives or bread before our starters would have elevated the experience. Similarly, the chicken kebab was accompanied by tzatziki and salad, but was without pitta (which we ordered as an extra). The stifado at £21 was delicious and very tender, however its pricing did seem a little steep. Having only two options for dessert (Panna cotta made from Greek yogurt, accompanied by a berry compote; or, a Cypriot chocolate ganache biscuit cake with raspberry sorbet) was a bit underwhelming, as we’d hoped for a better choice, given it is a Greek restaurant. All in all we had an enjoyable evening, but for around £100 for two, we did feel that from a food perspective (not the service, which was excellent) we’d be unlikely to return.
