Exceptional service, but the prices are a bit too high for the quality. Which, goes without saying, is still very high.

Everything is impressive from service to the development of the menu. Everything is extremely unique and can be seen why the chef puts his name on it. Service is very attentive and well informed in everything they do. Would definitely go back again to try the other things on the menu!

Wagyu, waygu, waygu! I love the selections of meat they have, it is amazing! Because Of mine big appetite, I would normally order the testing menu plus some small bites and few more selections of wagyu beef.
Variety selections of good wine and champagne plus good service from our host Robert, made our dining experience Fun and enjoyable!

Amazing food and service. I’ll definitely be back again in the future. Even though the food is pricey but it’s well worth it.

We went for my husbands birthday. We were 15 minutes late and unfortunately they gave our table away. We had to wait a while to get a new table. I did call several times to let them know we are running late but unfortunately nobody answered. That was pretty disappointing.

The ambiance was fun and lively. I have not been to Alexander's before. The bar staff was very accommodating and cool even though it was very busy and didn't even blink hen I asked for a high maintenance cocktail.

I will give this place another try.

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Japanese A5 Wagyu beef!

The service here is Impeccable and they do not discriminate based clothing or looks

Always wonderful. Food was top notch. Service is perfect- attentive without hovering. I only wish they would better control the noise. It is such a loud restaurant.

Another excellent meal, this time I had a delicious T-bone. Chocolate soufflé was delectable too. A noteworthy highlight was a superb and interesting appetizer: very lightly seared Ohmi wagyu beef. The beef had just been heated over charcoal and there was just a hint of smokiness to it. As usual, the bread was excellent too.

The best steak I’ve had in a long time, a nice thick ribeye, perfectly prepared medium rare. Superb potato rolls too, and a delicious chocolate soufflé to finish. Service was knowledgeable and solicitous. Good wine selection too. A pleasant and fun experience.

The restaurant is quite warm and beautiful. It took quite a bit of time for the waiter to take our drink order. It was a warm evening. I wanted something cool a refreshing from California to support the vineyards in Wine Country. The price point for a Glass of Chardonnay (and French) was $17. I thought was was pretty outrageous. So I ordered a Vodka Soda. Filet Mignon was good (I should have requested the sauce on the side) and the cotton candy 🍭 was a nice touch. The bill was delivered and was eye popping, even for San Francisco standards. Back to Harris’ Steakhouse for me.

Food was average, not that good as the experience that we had last time. Service was much worse than last time. Our waiter was nice but not warm welcome, didn’t introduce himself and after we ordered he won’t come to ask if we need anything. Like this type of level restaurant, we would expect a little more with the service, but we just didn’t feel the way that they really care about our business.

Fabulous Japanese beef steaks, best steak I've had in my life. Expensive but worth the money, a truly unique experience. Ask your server, they'll know what's what if the choices and prices don't make a lot of sense.

It's a bit boring. The venue is tired and the place feels worn. The starters were boring and short. You come here for steak and there is lots of steak including Japanese Wagyu in the hundreds of dollars. This place isn't a true American steak restaurant nor is it something completely different. It's found a half house that surprises me satisfies many except large tables of drunk blokes which is what I had around me. My bread had been cut ages ago and was dried out. My filet mignon was ok - nothing like the exceptional steak I had at Gary Danko's earlier that week. The sautéed onions were terrible - a bowl of soggy stuck together over fried onions. Yuck. Wine list ok, not great and quite expensive. Fries were great! There are so much better places to get a steak in town. This is a big fail for me.

I called the restaurant after making a reservation to note that we're celebrating a birthday. When we got seated, the server asked us if we're celebrating anything. We informed him "yes, a birthday". Tables next to us celebrated a birthday and received a complimentary dessert with a birthday candle, but our table didn't. I felt disappointed that my boyfriend didn't receive one on his birthday while the tables next to us did. We also got charged more appetizers that we didn't get

It was expensive.

But for the experience and the food, it was certainly worth it.

My filet was perfectly melt in my mouth medium. Just the way I like it.

My fiance's wagyu was so teeny tiny at 3 oz but so buttery and so yummy. My fiancé savored each bite. It also paired really well with the bone marrow that we got.

We ended the meal with a s'mores soufflé. And this was the perfect end to the perfect meal. My fiancé doesn't like sweets but he devoured it as much as I did. That's saying a lot.

I would highly recommend Alexander's!

As always the food is excellent. Although the SF location is a bit more pricier, the steaks did not disappoint. The main reason I could not give this experience a perfect 5 stars is due to the amount of time we had to wait to order our food. For whatever reason, our waiter was walking past us on several occasions until we had to flag him down. Other than this, the rest of the meal was very professional.
