    A wonderful place to spend a cold, wintry evening in front of the fire! Service was great, Spencer is awesome, wine was perfect, but couldn’t give 5 stars because of the filet one at our table ordered. It was warm at best, cooked as requested, but he claimed it was the most expensive piece of tough filet he ever had. Didn’t want to complain, but enjoyed the rest of the meal.

    Super large oysters and wonderful flavor. Well prepared and cleaned PEI oysters. Entrees were wonderful and the staff was fun and well trained. Ate so much, no room for dessert 🥲

    We go to Alexanders every time we are in HHI and on the first night of our visit as it is a consistently fabulous experience. We love the bacon wrapped shrimp. I had lobster which was perfectly prepared. The service is outstanding. We will be back.

    Received a nice greeting on arrival. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Good specials. We tried them all. Nice portion size and very flavorful. We even got a free dessert for a birthday. Great job y’all.

    Our entire party enjoyed every moment of this experience. The sommelier was amazing and our waitress could not have been better. Both were knowledgeable and attentive. The food was superb, cooked perfectly to order and special consideration given to allergies and food preferences.

    We love to eat at Alexander’s when we visit HHI. Early bird is our favorite. Always a top notch choice. Crab soup was fantastic. Prime rib juicy and good. Service was outstanding as usual.

    We had a table for 6 by the fireplace in a small dining room. Service was very informative and attentive especially for the one person with food allergies. Everyone’s drinks and food were excellent. There’s a reason this restaurant has been in business for decades.

    We loved Alexander’s. We took advantage of their early bird special. Our table of 4 had a wonderful experience. My wife loved the prime rib! It was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed their Wiener Schnitzel. It was cooked and spiced perfectly. I will go back again.

    We had the best meal of our vacation here. This is our 2nd visit and we enjoyed it even more. The Red Snapper was delicious and sat on top of a Hoppin’ John wild rice, collard greens & small red beans. Nutty and delicious. We had cocktails which were a little slow to arrive but delicious- the Pomegranate Margarita was the favorite. We were celebrating my husbands birthday for this trip so we splurged on desserts of chocolate mousse with raspberry sorbet and crème brûlée which were excellent. The chocolate martini was my favorite drink of the evening. Excellent meal and pricing was consistent with other restaurants but food quality much better. Note: several diners were eating at the bar which has a cool single plate ware accessory to make eating at the bar more comfortable.

    Very good food and fast, attentive service. The smaller early dinner (5 - 5:45) portions were perfect for us and the price was a good value. Only issue was we weren’t offered the early dinner menu when we arrived - had to ask for it. Then they brought us one menu for both of us. Odd and inconvenient.

    We arrived on a Wednesday evening, the restaurant was not crowded, we were seated promptly. All staff, from the hostess to the waiter to the food server, were friendly and pleasant. The food was very good, the shrimp and grits exceptional, two steaks cooked exactly as ordered. Noise was low, but we have been to Alexander’s before during busier times and it can get loud. I would recommend a visit.
