   We enjoyed Alexander’s. The drinks and food were superb. We had the lamb, strawberry salad, dinner salad, crème brûlée, and charcuterie board. I would recommend all and was plenty for 2 and my husband can really eat. We will definitely return. Be sure to come earlier so you can see the sunset through trees off the creek while you dine! The only suggestion I’d have for them is to offset the tables so that outdoor patrons don’t feel like they are sharing a table with those next to them. I felt like I had to be very quiet while speaking. Felt a little awkward.

   My wife and l looked forward to this dinner because it was our 46th anniversary. When making the reservation we mentioned this specifically. Nothing was noted during the dinner. Disappointing! We had even booked two nights at the Inn on The Creek to bracket the special Anniversary meal. The only saving grace was that the food was excellent. I assume we were in the main dining room (1st floor with the bar) which is the dining room requested. I will not do it again! It was noisy and detracted from the whole evening. We know the entire life history of the bartender (lady) because we heard her from across the room. We also know the entire history of the man at the table next to us and all of his Portfolio investments. Lasted entire evening. The service was good, not great. Didn't get a refill on the wine pour until dinner was over. Had to get up from the table to reach the wine bottle during dinner.

   We always love dining at Alexander’s for any occasion but this was my husband’s birthday & Clara made us feel special. Service, food & drinks were perfect! Grateful to have such a fine restaurant so close by & the added bonus to spend the night at Inn on the Creek right across the street. Perfect birthday celebration! Thanks to all!

   Food was fantastic, drinks were delicious. They sat us upstairs in the lounge area which would be perfect for sitting, snacking and drinking. For dinner, the chairs were a little oversized and too short. All the staff were very friendly took great care of us thru out the evening.

    We had the brussels sprouts and focaccia bread as appetizers — Both were excellent! We also ordered the La Palma and the Bourbon peach specialty drinks which were quite tasty. For dinner, we had the lamb shank, the best we’ve ever had, and the shrimp scampi. If it hadn’t been so noisy on the porch where we sat, everything would’ve been perfect Hannah was our waitress and she did a fabulous job. Will definitely go back if you’re ever in that area.

    Beautiful location and nice and quiet for us to converse. The web site said, “wine down Wednesday” but when we asked, they said they hadn’t restarted that program. In the end, it was honored thankfully. Had a tasty red that we all enjoyed and the crab cakes were amazing.

    Enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience. From the time we walked in we were greeted. We had a reservation so we were sat quickly. The server was awesome as it was our first time there so he let us touring the 2nd floor and took us up to the lounge area to look around. Once settled he was right there to take our drink orders. He gave us amazing recommendations on the apps to order (which were fabulous) I highly recommend the brussel sprouts and Kung Poa Cauliflower! The food was tasty and the portions were good. The Pork chop was the size of my head (seriously) my husband was able to get 2 meals out of it. We definitely will be back.

    My family was in from out of town and we decided to bring my mom here for her birthday. The food & specialty cocktails were overall delicious as usual. The only thing that was disappointing is my steak was undercooked. Will definitely go back.

    We had a very enjoyable dinner. The service in the Bar was excellent, as usual. The food was outstanding with one exception: the Diver Scallops were quite salty. This is just not our opinion, the other couple’s in the Bar for the 8:00 seating all commented on it when we mentioned it to Bartender/Server.

    I normally love going to Alexander’s. My family celebrates birthdays and anniversaries there. This time was very different. Our waitress was forgetful and our food came out cold. If in the main dining room, that has never happened but we were in the side room. I attribute the 3 and 4 stars on the review to her as normally this is 100% a 5 star place to enjoy.

    We go here frequently, and we love the cocktails, and the food is very good. The service is usually good, but was not good this time. Drinks sat empty. Had a different waitress than we usually have when we go. Be my valentine Martini was delicious. Coconut mint julep was not very good . Tasted sour.

    Thank you for a lovely evening. Our neighbors went above and beyond to help during the ice storm and dinner was our way to thank them. The food was excellent as was the service and atmosphere. Alexander's never disappoints!!

    The food and our waitress were very good. We were disappointed by our hostess experience. We just answered the questions on whether we wanted to sit in the main dining room or sit outside. When we got there, we were told that we were sitting outside and it was 55°. After much haggling we were finally told that we could sit inside and we had to complete our dining experience within two hours. The fact that we were asking to sit inside versus freeze to death and spend $250 we were treated a bit rudely. The dining room we were sitting the entire time was completely empty, except for us, so I’m not sure why the obstinance of working with us was was an issue. Again, the food and our waitress was excellent.

    Delicious food! We started with the shrimp cocktail which had an amazing cocktail sauce! Husband and I both got the beef tenderloin which was cooked to perfection. Finished by sharing the chocolate mouse & bread pudding. I don’t usually care for bread pudding but this one was great! Highly recommend!

    Nice place for New Years Eve. A little surprised at Crème Brûlée….liquid at the bottom, not solid custard. Crème Brûlée in past was served in the shallow boat-style dish. This year is was a cup. Otherwise, all food was delicious.
