   Alexanders is always my go to restaurant when I have friends in town or coming in from out of town. The food, the craft cocktails, the service and surroundings are fabulous!

   Greetings. The food was very good. I had made reservations and indicated that it was our 39th wedding anniversary. That was not even acknowledged and as we were leaving the wait staff was congratulating someone on their anniversary. I did have to move our reservations from Friday night to Saturday night, but just changed the date and nothing else. Perhaps the notes don't transfer when the date is changed. Also, we were seated at a window seat which was nice except that our view was of a "flower" bed that was nothing but weeds, sticks, etc. For the expense of just our meal, they likely could have hired someone to at least clean up the flower bed.

   Hidden gem! The food and cocktails were superb and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Great value for the money in an exquisite venue. Highly recommend the TX-sized pork chop - perfectly cooked and plenty for leftovers the next day!

   The food was just okay, and overpriced for the quality. The lettuce in my salad didn't seem fresh, it was over dressed, and the salmon was under seasoned. The brussel sprouts were good and so was the passionfruit margarita. The creme brulee didn't have the signature hard/crispy top and the filling wasn't fully setup, it was watery. The service was decent, however they billed the table next to ours for the creme brulee we ordered. The location was pretty and the place was clean. I would not come back or recommend this place unless you are coming for the drinks/happy hour.

    It could have been much better with one simple adjustment. The place was mostly empty yet we were seated in a small room with another party a table away. 5 minutes later they seated another couple right next to us. Conversation was awkward since we could easily hear each other. I could have reached out and touched the guy next to me. Had the place been busy I would have understood. This made no sense. Food was good. The opportunity for an intimate birthday dinner with my wife was not.

    Once again, it was an amazing experience for dinner last night as I brought two girlfriends from Houston that were visiting with me. They LOVED the food, the craft cocktails and the service! I mentioned the Prix Fix menu's on Tuesday nights and they plan to drive up once a month to stay with me and have dinner at Alexanders!!!

    Everything was great! First time to dine on third floor and we loved it! So cozy on a rainy night. Great service and great vibe. Incredible butternut squash soup, hubby loved the pork chop. The only negative for me was the seasoning of the crab cakes. Too spicy to be enjoyable, even without using the sauce. I’d take it in a different direction…maybe with a grainy Dijon mustard sauce or go Asian with a sweet chili sauce. Loved the panko crust though. And the bread pudding is always a winner…it helped put out the crab cake fire in my mouth.

    Service was excellent! Hard to believe they expect the bartender to serve the bar and wait tables in the bar and outside on a Friday night but that is how restaurants work their staff these days. It did not give her much time to spend with any one table and ONE table was dominating the entire bar. It was obvious he was a high end client acted it. Again, she managed it with grace. Alexander’s is one of our favorites and we keep coming back. It’s the small things that could make the difference - turn Fear Factor off the bar TV during Friday night fine dining? Have a pepper mill?

    This was our third time dining at Alexander's, as always, it included delicious entrees and excellent service! However, it was the first time we had visited with a Tuesday evening reservation, and it was remarkably busy, and the sounds of the many patrons reverberated off the walls very loudly. Honestly, I had difficulty conversing with my wife during the first hour in the facility; however, as patrons began to clear out of the room, the noise level decreased, and we ended the evening very comfortably.

    I had the charcuterie plate for my entree…$22 was disappointing. No pate, some of the crackers were stale. 2 pieces of 2 salami varieties, 2 pieces of prosciutto. A few slices of 2 cheeses along with a generous portion of pickled vegetables. Chopped salad generous and delicious. Cocktails from bar with slow service - first order not as bad. I’ll return as I’ve been a loyal patron over the years…not sure why the change this experience.

    Sorry to say management needs work. Reservation for Easter set menu, set time, was specifically for outdoors (per this website). Despite a beautiful day, no one was able to sit outside. Published drink was not available. Dessert on the set menu was not available and not everyone wants carrot cake, the remaining "choice." Just poor planning. Despite Easter brunch with most of the diners wearing coat and tie or dresses, the waiter was in jeans and uncollered shirt. Not appropriate for this venue - save it for the late night bar. Also no decaf coffee and the regular coffee took so long to come out, we just left. This is all poor management. For $65 plus drinks and tips, in a fine establishment known for great Easter brunches outdoors, I am very saddened. The food itself was very good. I hope they will work on this.

    Birthday dinner for my boyfriend. I noted this on reservation but it was not acknowledged. Server was new and clearly inexperienced but he did pretty well. Food was tasty and very nicely prepared. Steak was cooked exactly as I ordered and bread pudding was amazing! Drinks are pricey but very nice.

    We enjoyed Alexander’s. The drinks and food were superb. We had the lamb, strawberry salad, dinner salad, crème brûlée, and charcuterie board. I would recommend all and was plenty for 2 and my husband can really eat. We will definitely return. Be sure to come earlier so you can see the sunset through trees off the creek while you dine! The only suggestion I’d have for them is to offset the tables so that outdoor patrons don’t feel like they are sharing a table with those next to them. I felt like I had to be very quiet while speaking. Felt a little awkward.

    My wife and l looked forward to this dinner because it was our 46th anniversary. When making the reservation we mentioned this specifically. Nothing was noted during the dinner. Disappointing! We had even booked two nights at the Inn on The Creek to bracket the special Anniversary meal. The only saving grace was that the food was excellent. I assume we were in the main dining room (1st floor with the bar) which is the dining room requested. I will not do it again! It was noisy and detracted from the whole evening. We know the entire life history of the bartender (lady) because we heard her from across the room. We also know the entire history of the man at the table next to us and all of his Portfolio investments. Lasted entire evening. The service was good, not great. Didn't get a refill on the wine pour until dinner was over. Had to get up from the table to reach the wine bottle during dinner.
